I had my car broken into last night while I was having dinner. When I got home around 9:30pm I started looking for a place to replace my window. Yelp has a great feature that helps you find a businesses to help with certain needs. I created a project request on Yelp and was expecting to get a response in the morning when shops are open. To my surprise Quick Auto Glass responded to me within 10 mins. They gave me an estimate and the time of their business hours. They open at 8am and I arrived at 8:30. There was only one guy at the shop and he spoke little English but immediately got on the phone and told his partner I was there and gave him my vehicle information. He then told me "window on way" and he started vacuuming up the broken glass and doing the prep work. About an hour later his partner arrived with my window and with the prep work done he was able to install the window in about 10 mins. I was charged the estimated price I was given, plus tax of course. My only complaint is when I got home and was looking over everything I noticed a good amount of glass still under my seat. My wife and I own a Volkswagen Atlas 2024 Cross Sport. Last week she was driving on the feeder in 610 and broke the back window. After all the calls that I made I decided to go with Quick Auto Glass. He came to our apartments and he sent a guy that didn't know how to speak english neither he knew how to do the work. After a few scratches trying to take the glass out, we decided to call the owner and he told me that he will sent another person to change the glass. This new people change everything but it took forever. They did a pretty BAD JOB. Terrible job. The pieces of glass are stuck inside the door and you can hear them when you open and close the automatic door. You can see the cables running around, they even broke a black piece of the car that goes outside near the breaking light. He told me that he will charged me $299 but when we got to his shop he told me that he will charged me $220 and he will replace the piece that one of his guys broke. After all this they glass looks cheap. You may get dizzy while looking at it while driving. It seems dissorted. Now one week later we decided to change the back window on the VW dealership. VW dealership is telling us that they might have been some damage done to the inside of the door when they were trying to change a simple thing as a back window. I received a quote late yesterday evening and was told my window could be fixed next day. I got busy and forgot to respond back. I responded this morning and Max said he could get to me today. He just finished installing the new window. And to my surprise the window he installed was already tinted! I didn't even ask about tint which I actually needed. I wanted this to work out because they had the best quoted price, but it wasn't in the cards. I didn't know an appointment was needed and went to the business location but it seems like it is for a couple of businesses and the person for Quick Auto Glass wasn't there. But the man quickly was on the phone with him, got my name, number and address and said he would come to me. Didn't hear anything for a couple of days so messaged again and was told to text a number, did that and still no text back or service. Messaged once more and they made it seem like they would come the next day, but again silent and felt ghosted. I finally gave up, made an appointment with and Royal Glass and got in the next day, easy peasy. Really the problem here was communication, and it was a mess. Got a quote on here. Called the place to get an appointment sent to voicemail. They follow up with text messages and I explained I was quoted and would like to make an appointment. They responded by asking about make model of car again. I sent them that. They read the message no response, I follow up again asking can I make an appointment. Once again read my message and completely ignored it. The last time I gave this business 2 stars. I was being nice. I should of gave them one star. The piece that connects to my rear view mirror keeps popping off. This was the 3rd time I called this man to complain about it. He told he was tired of sending a tech to my house and that the next time I call he would have to replace the windshield that I would have to pay for. He told me the windshield he used was 'cheap' glass and that the proper windshield is more expensive. Talk about a ripoff. If the man had ordered the proper windshield the first time I wouldn't have to keep calling a tech to the house. Also, the business owner never returned my phone to tell me when the tech was going to come to my house so I assume he's not coming. He also said there was lifetime warranty, I guess he lied about that too. I went to my dealership and it turned out the piece that see you on my photo one of his tech's broke. It's going to cost me $210 to fix. It wasn't like this before. I implore anybody do not use this service. The prices may be cheap but they are like that for a reason.
