Bought an Aventon Level 3 from the North Van store. Just love this bike, it's so good. Great purchase experience and equally awesome service getting the bike checked up. So happy with my purchase! read more

Terrible. I went in to buy an e-bike not knowing anything about them. I ended up with a bike that I can not ride. I took the bike back to the store asking if I could trade it for a bike that I was able to ride. One with a throttle and tires that I could ride on a bike trail. Even though I had only ridden the bike 5 km, I was told that there was nothing wrong with the bike and they could not help me. So now I have a very expensive bike that I cannot ride and I cannot even sell. Shame on them. read more

IF you are looking for someone with expert knowledge about e-bikes Doug is the person to talk to. He was amazing and he really wanted us to get the right bike for us. It was not about selling us the highest priced bike but about the best fit and type of e-bike for what are needs are. We went to several places before cit-ecylces and Doug was the most knowledgeable person we encountered. I would for sure check out his store before making your purchase read more

Citecycle in Vancouver has a great selection of ebikes, and the Aventon bike I've been looking for was on sale. I was able to test ride a couple of different models, and had a choice of colors in stock. Doug was very knowledgeable and helpful! I rode my new bike home from the store that day. Thanks for a good shopping experience! read more

I initially was going over to VAN to by a Gas Gas ECA 2.0 from a KTM/GasGas dealer. A friend mentioned Cit-E-Cycles so I gave them a call. I spoke with Jamie, who said they had one in Vancouver which they could bring over for me. A few days later it was here. When i picked it up, he had torqued fasteners to spec, and spent time going over the bike with me. No dealer fees which I would have paid at the dealership, not to mention the day of travel and ferry cost. I was very pleased with the service, and store at the Bridge St location. read more

I went into this bike shop for the first time about a year ago. I found the 'Manager' to be somewhat rude. So, I left without purchasing a bike which is why I came into the store in the first place. Fast forward to this year in January. I thought I would give it another shot. The same thing seems to continue; Doug ( Mgr) would be talking with me about models etc. As soon as another customer came in, he would drop me and go over to that customer. My time is valuable, too! I tried one bike on the road. I tried another. I bought an e-bike. It was in January. I had come to the store on a bike, so I couldn't take it with me. The weather has been atrocious as we all know. A member of my family passed away. I had to leave for Europe. I telephoned and left a message at the shop that I would come in as soon as I could to pick up the bike. I did not receive an answer back. As soon as I got back to Vancouver. I telephoned, again. I came by this week. Doug was quite unpleasant and kept repeating that I had to come by this Saturday. I heard it the first time. Later, I called Doug and I said I would be coming in as soon as the store opens. That I am doing that so he would not drop me again to attend to another customer. He started to berate me and talk over me. I asked him not to do that. I told him I was recording the call. I had to do that because I don't think anyone would believe me how rude he is being to me. I told him during the call that I was indeed recording the conversation. I asked about the 3 month check up. He said that was gone, now because it is from date of sale. He was pretty belligerent about that. I asked him why he was so combattative? I asked to speak to the proprietor of the shop. I never heard from the proprietor. I cannot go back in that store because it is too painful. read more

UPDATE: Via several telephone calls to the manufacturer of my new e-bike, I discovered that I am allowed to have my bicycle serviced at a completely different distributor's store. Thank heavens! read more

I had an ebike assembled by someone in the Port Moody store. From the moment I rode it out of the store, there was a honking noise with the break. When I brought it right back to inquire, I got no help (I suspected something might not have been centered or aligned but wasn't sure). I was told to put some Kms on it and if it was still an issue to bring it back and rotors could be sanded. Today I brought it back with new rotors and pads (thanks to the bike company) and I was told by cit-e cycles they were too busy to replace the rotors and pads. When I asked when they thought they could do the job they said "winter" (it is now Spring). Really disappointed in the customer service and unfriendly way I was treated. I left and went to another bike shop and they fit me in within a week. Makes me wonder why cit-e cycles wouldn't stand by their assembly. read more

I heard customer service sucks here but I couldn't find my bike anywhere else. As soon as I unpacked it I noticed a problem, emailed the store, and got an unhelpful response ending with "cheers"....after spending a very large amount of money I would expect better! read more

this bike is falling apart??? i paid nearly 2 grand for it and the parts dont stay together.

I called to inquire about purchasing one of their higher end e-bikes. I'm talking close to $10k. Left a message and Never received a call back. I called back today and spoke with someone, a man, I mentioned that I left a message and was interested in the Tern bike- he quickly interrupted me to say they don't have time to return calls and it's not worth the effort. I quickly got the sense that they are not customer oriented at all, especially after reading all the other views. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more

I was in the market for an e bike and asked for a test ride in surrey. At first the was no feeling of letting me so I went home and looked up their web page and sure enough it said you can test ride.I went back there and pointed that out.I was then allowed to test ride.I bought a 3 thousand dollar bike. After 1700 hundred kms of riding my chain fell of 4 times on a 80km ride.I went back to the store and explained my problem.I was told that they were training a new bike machanic and couldent be helped today.I could leave my bike and even though it was Friday I might get it back on Tuesday,or I can drive out to there Langley store.I drove out to Langley(a long drive) the nice man there said it was an easy fix.It took 2 min. and there was no charge. Why couldn't the man on 104th do the same thing? Guess who wont get my business. Mark L Grant read more

This is real cool place, if you want to get on a hybrid bike and explore the city. Come here! Jamie is awesome to deal with, take a test ride. You will love it. These electric bikes are a blast. I highly recommend this place. read more

I was laughed at for asking if I could test ride the bicycles - if you're hoping to test ride bikes before buying go elsewhere for a guarantee that you'll be able to ride before investing. Looking at the other reviews it seems like that perhaps doesn't always happen since some mention test riding, so I feel confused about my experience. I was told that they didn't do it - not that I should come back later, or go to a different location, or that they would need my credit card... Perhaps, my best guess is , if you look alternative, young, and gay like me you may be more likely to have your money turned away, despite hoping to spend significant money on a potential bike I was hoping to use to transition to commute to work. read more

FYI, Jamie is no longer at this location. Expect to be treated like you are wasting their time, even if you arrive with $4k in your wallet. Seems like they're not interested in being courteous until they get the cheque - we left without finding out if money changed the attitude. read more

WARNING!!!! This retailer won't support you if your bike fails within warranty period, as Mandy Y mentioned on her review, this dealer cares way too much for money and not enough for their customers. Do not buy a bike in here!!! Go give your hard earned money to a retailer that is professional and cares for after purchase hiccups. read more

Given my age and my height, I wanted a step-through model. On Friday, July 17, 2020, I went to your store and order a RIESE & MULLER * Homage GT ROHLOFF. On Saturday, July 24, 2020, I was told at the that Riese & Muller were no longer making the Homage. When I ask if they would make the Homage GT Rohloff model next year, I was told by an employee that Riese & Muller was planning to discontinue this model. Base on the fact that the Homage ROHLOFF, may no longer be available, I reluctantly ordered a RIESE & MULLER * DELITE ROHLOFF. Two weeks later, while visiting another e-bike shop, I was told that the 2021 Homage Rohloff would still be available. A few weeks later, I also saw a YouTube video announcing the 2021 Homage Rohloff. The employee should have known this or at the very least find out. I feel that I was misled and pressure by the employee to purchase an e-bike that I did not really want in the first place. I should have been told that the 2021 Riese & Muller Homage would be available later on in the year. In addition, the seat post for my e-bike was too long. I was told that I could take a hack saw and cut the post to fit my height. I was not offered another seat post to replace mine, even after paying over $12,000 for the e-bike. When I ask to return the e-bike, I was told that was not possible. Buyer beware. I will never deal with cit-e-cycle again. read more

Bought a beautiful BH-Easy Motion electric bike today. Jamie was just so nice to deal with. He made it all so easy and was very helpful. I finally have a bike that works for me. I'm just thrilled. When inquiring initially I called the Surrey store and left a long message. Mark got back to me with a message that they did have the perfect size for me. There's a fantastic selection in the store and in a perfect location to find parking. A friend suggested Cit-E-Cycles to me when she found out I was not having any luck finding the best e-bike size for me. Thank you Joanne!!! I highly recommend Cit-E-Cycles read more
