A very messy, half of my bagel with tuna, heirloom, tomatoes, and garlic aïoli

They make a really great bagel. This is not a cookie cutter bagel shop selling 10 different cream cheese and 15 different bagels. This is someone creating really good bagels and offering a really refined selection of things to go on the bagels. I almost always choose whatever special they have. Today it was olive oil, poached, tuna, garlic, aïoli, and local heirloom tomatoes with some greens. It was fucking perfect. .

Cute bagel place in downtown Hudson with so many creative and fun combinations. I tried the everything bagels with scallion cream cheese, cucumber, red onions & chili crisp, it was absolutely delicious and perfect snack for the road. The bagel has the perfect texture that is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Service was friendly and prompt. Highly recommend!

Cute new spot on the corner of Fifth and Union baking and serving delicious bagels and espresso drinks - staff was friendly and quick! Great comfortable seating options in a bright and well designed space. Reasonably priced too!

Outdoor dining in the summer is perfect. Food is consistently delicious. For Valentines Day they had a regular menu and a special menu so you weren't forced into expensive food. The wait staff is great! Very attentive.

Didn't have a reservation but it was the middle of the afternoon so we were able to get a table right away. We were sat in a back room which is part of the dining room. It was a little small but it appeared that there was another dining area downstairs. Bernie was our server and super nice. She quickly came over with breadsticks which was a happy surprise! We ended up splitting the Gorgonzola Stuffed Figs -- small bits for sure, but good for sharing. We also ordered the baked clams oreganata which was my favorite. I typically don't go out of my way for a Cosmo but started out with Ceil's Pear Cosmo - it was SO good. For dessert, I ordered their Valentine's special which was a Chocolate Covered Strawberry Martini. This didn't hit the mark for me with the strawberry chunks. I wish I had ordered another pear Cosmo. Savona's was not the overall vibe I wanted for Valentine's Day dinner so I am glad we came here the day after for lunch. This would be a great place for a big family dinner! Wait staff including Bernie were all super friendly.

I was sooo looking forward to our Valentine's Day dinner at Feast & Floret! Planned for an early…read morebird dinner (5pm!) because we had tickets to a jazz show right after. Our table was in the same room as the bar but next to the fireplace. The bar doesn't have actual seating - they have tables in front of it which is nice and keeps the intimate, moody quiet vibe. It definitely had a romantic vibe with the fire, the lighting and lots of flowers throughout hanging from the ceiling. My only complaint is that there was a table with kids who were pretty noisy in the beginning. Not exactly what I was expecting for my Valentine's Day dinner but that's what I get for an early dinner! The food was excellent overall. We had a sense of what we wanted but then the server came over and told us the specials which threw us for a loop! I was dead set on getting pasta because Feast & Floret is known for their homemade pasta but we ended up ordering a few different plates: Quail Special - This was my first time ever having quail. The plate came out with 2 whole birds and to say I wasn't nervous would be a lie. It was a little salty (not sure if maybe it should be) but tender and delicious. It came with creamed Kale and nuts. Chilled Beets with Mint - Weird having with a hot meal but still so good. Butternut Squash Arancini -- A must try. You can taste a hint of butternut squash. It wasn't too overpowering. Affogato - The simplest dessert on the menu but worth it. Regarding drinks, try their Honey Old Fashioned. I'm not a whiskey drinker but always try my girlfriend's drink when we go out. Their Honey Old Fashioned was so good that it made me want to order one for myself! Feast & Floret also sells their own honey. Before we left to get to the show, I had asked about making our own bouquet. Grace, the florist, allowed us to pick what we liked and she arranged our bouquet

This out of the way corner cafe in Upstate Athens is very homey, open, clean, welcoming and has lots of off beat offerings that a regular passer by would not necessarily expect. It has big windows. For one, they hotly cook-up pizzettes, hot and very flavorful sandwiches, soups, coffees and tea. Right next to the register is a clear glass window box with all sorts of scrumptious sweets, muffins, cakes, tarts, choco donuts and cupcakes - that are made each day, I might add. The display is quaint and spot-on and each dessert is elevated on a tiny cake platter on a doily. Next, all the menu boards (above the counter and to the side) are easily legible, for elderly too. The menu that was handed to me was also not too complicated (2 sides) and was laminated, to avoid Covid. The staff was professional, bouncy (music), well prepared for groups that came and friendly. Some staff even remembered what some of the elderly in line wanted, before they ordered. How is that for manners and style?! Go kick rocks down an alley Starbucks! Lastly - the food and drinks here are simply very outstanding. I do not say that often. My cheese panini-style sandwich had layers of molten and hot cheeses, seared onions and somewhere in that mass also herbs and some dark mustard! It was scrumptious. They serve other classics like turkey, salami, ham sandwiches (some already wrapped for quick sale and go). The Athens Rooster is off the beaten (egg?), no track; (just kidding) but the parking is easy, there are lots of seats and even just simply placing (it's a small gesture, for sure - but chefs like me take note) a large jug full of free lemon water with clean cups on the bar counter at the front, really: makes all the visitors days. Cafe go-ers love those water jugs. Believe me! The Athens Rooster is a well maintained, bright and friendly late breakfast and late lunch spot. The grilled cheese and coffee stayed hot longer than 15 minutes after the sale. Very delicious! Top notch cafe - expertly prepared cuisine. Review: 5+
