Cold brew with coconut milk

This place was great! They have a new menu printed each day with specials. No liquor license yet, but great local coffee! I enjoyed the Cuban pork. They sprinkled the tostones with powdered sugar and I'm hooked! Don't miss this spot if you're in town.

Trout Nicoise Salad

I almost couldn't wait to write this review. We got into Escalante a bit late and most things to eat or shop at were closed. We found this little gym and as soon as we walked in we were cheerfully greeted by the server and seated right away. I ordered the trout nicoise salad (I was craving something fresh after roadside greasy good on our long drive) and my family all got burgers and fries. My salad was AMAZING. Every ingredient tasted fresh and the presentation was gorgeous. I literally said, "I think this is the best potato I've ever had!". The greens were crisp, the soft boiled egg and avocado were perfect. I snuck bites if the burgers and fries, both excellent. They had a small but varied selection of beer on tap, we had the Pilsner and the hefeweizen, both delicious. They had a nice squash based dish I eyed for next time; the availability of veggie dishes was a nice plus. Service was attentive, food came out quickly and man was it delicious. Who knew a food-spoiled Southern California family would find a new favorite restaurant way out in rural Utah!? We will absolutely be back next time we are out this way.

Bacon Cheeseburger

Excellent cheeseburger in the middle of nowhere. This was a quality meal. Thick half pound fresh pressed patty. Lots of bacon. Fresh veggies. The thick cut French fries were excellent. Ask for the fry sauce. It will elevate your fries. Service was prompt and friendly.

Great fun dinner place at the sleepy city of Escalante. We had to order at the catchier and also pick up our utensils to the table. I highly recommend their local smoked meat, both the brisket and the ribs were made to perfection. For sides we took the Mac and cheese, green beans and steak fries, both were really good. We tried the local Moab brewery IPA, I prefer the west coast style better... Anyhow, great choice for dinner !

Cute little place but I'm sad that's about it...the food was quite salty and bland at the same time.

This will be a short one... Order at the counter, and they bring it to you. The bacon cheeseburger was huge and it was delicious! The house salad was good too, just needed a bit more dressing to come with it. Good food and a helpful, customer-oriented staff makes for a great combo! You can't go wrong in this small eatery in the middle of nowhere!

This place really stands over the years. We search out Circle D whenever we are in Escalante. The service is excellent and the food is superb. I love the indoor and outdoor options as well as the window bar tables. I had the baked zucchini squash dish and it was truly outstanding. Hubby had the pork chop with apple slaw and he says "definitely delectable!" He hasn't had a pork chop that good in a long time. Wines, draft beer, and cans. Superb quality in a small town. Open and light ambiance.

American Breakfast eggs over easy

Nice venue. Just drove over 12 from Torrey, was time to grab something to eat. The folks here are cool, it's 1100 and very quiet mostly families I think. Ordered the American Breakfast, which sadly did not involve pancakes. I really wanted pancakes! Nice touch is that the bathrooms are marked men women and X so it's very inclusive. Melinda behind the counter is sweet and efficient. Breakfast was great. They have Cholula and Tabasco so not ketchup needed! The hash browns are chunks of whole potato with skin on, and the skin is generally nice and crispy. The eggs were as ordered, bacon crisp, and sourdough toast topped it off and helped wiped up every bit left. Also ordered a latte, was creamy with a fine head of foam. Stayed hot through the meal too! I don't get to escalante very often, but this looks like a keeper!

Found Circle D on accident and so glad we did! Taco salad with brisket just hit the spot. Nice, cold Hazy IPA on tap. Perfect pour. Awesome homemade chips too. My buddy had the chili and loved it. Cool ambience, outdoor seating, piano inside! Could be dressy or casual. All good. Thanks B and S for a great meal in Escalante, UT!

Primarily looking…read morefor a place to eat we stopped by on our trip from the Red Rock country of Southern I Utah to Salt Lake City. The bar is a bit off the I-70 freeway, but not too far. It is spacious inside with large tables and a friendly, welcoming staff. I had a margarita with my lunch; only one though because I was driving. It wasn't strong but was tasty enough. The beers are mostly domestic with only one micro brew selection but there were plenty of national brand choices. The food was home made and not bad for bar food. I had a Pittsburgh cheese steak sandwich that I thought was good. I ordered it with a side salad instead of fries as I had also ordered the loaded Pastrami fries which came with cheese, pickles and mustard on top. It was a bit too rich and heavy for my taste and the flavors didn't really work well together. Maybe without the mustard I would have liked it more. Not a bad place for a rest stop or a reasonable local hang out as well with some decent food.

The cheesesteak was alright. It was nothing to complain about or write home about. The jojo fries were kinda undercooked but good and seemed homemade almost. Attentive service, not overbearing. A lot of locals since Richfield isn't exactly a destination but you'll get the same treatment and be just as welcome.

Delicious cider and a welcome surprise in the wilds of Utah…read more Southern Utah is a remote place. I never expect amenities or cool hangout spots. Torrey surprised me in several ways, including this cool spot on the edge of a tiny town. Etta Place serves up delicious cider. They offer a large variety of flavors and are very good at describing them so you have an idea of what you're getting into. You can order a large pour or a flight. I chose a flight and my favorite was the Fig! The inside is comfy and lots of places to settle and enjoy your beverage. Or you can venture out to the back patio and look at a lovely view of the wild Utah landscape. I'd say the prices are comparable to other cider places I have visited. My favorite thing was the info they post about what apples are coming next and what they plan to do with them. How fun to have a peek behind the curtain.
