On our visit to Bryce Canyon National Park Utah, we were impressed not only by what magnificence the park had to offer, but how well equipped, updated, convenient, clean and utilitarian their shopping and grocery location was at the visitor center! First off, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable of all things Bryce Canyon - from your needs in the rugged terrains such as food, clothing, utensils, windbreakers and ponchos to the basic needs for cooking, survival, firewood and fuel to the Nik Naks of souvenirs, t-shirts, postcards and much, much more. We were impressed at this really one stop shop for your picnic, camping or hiking needs at this fabulous landmark called Bryce Canyon National Park. Kudos and congrats to management and staff for making visits here extraordinary, worthwhile and entertaining to boot! Make sure to stop in while at the park - it is more than worth it in many ways. Was in need of wire twists. The store had none, but a very helpful lady went into the back of the store and found me some, at no charge. Very friendly lady, just wish I had gotten her name. read more

$35 entrance fee for a gorgeous park with lots of trails yet dogs are only allowed on a small part of the rim which means for me this is a total rip off. Complete park very dog unfriendly. I did not want to leave him in the car so I left after doing the small part where we were allowed. The way I was told I was not allowed in the store was beyond rude. read more

Perfect spot near sunset point and one of the 2 locations to eat inside bryce. This place has good enough menu for American breakfast lunch and whatever they do , they do in style. Veggie Omelette breakfast was awesome. I would suggest to stop by here. They have lot of souvenirs (from tshirt jackets to magnets and stones. read more

Wrong hours posted - would not let us in even before their newly stated closing time. Workers were extremely unprofessional and rude.

Im living on the road and stinky and wasn't going to make it in time for the general store hours. so I called and I didn't catch her name, but I spoke to a lady on the phone today in regards to the showers, and she gave me some really helpful information and was super kind and lovely, my reception cut out before I could thank her or catch her name but shes great! read more

Came by for snacks and to use the bathroom. Parking was tough because the shuttle wasn't open yet and everyone was driving. I'll note that the bathrooms have coin-operated showers. Good place to start the hike to the rim trail and and Sunrise Point. read more

The blond woman at the counter could not have been more rude. It was near closing time and I put my cash on the counter and she yelled at me for trying to pay her without her telling me the total yet. I was just trying to get more cash out of my wallet. Then she yelled across the store as I was walking out about rude people throwing cash on the counter. Completely juvenile and unprofessional. Well done. Go somewhere else so you dont have to deal with this type of behavior on your vacation. read more

If you're person of color, avoid this place. Old lady in the gift shop is racist. Completely ignored me even though I spoke to her coworker right in front of her and walked away from me to help a white couple while I had the money in my hand to pay. When the couple realized they got in front of me, they said sorry you go ahead, the old lady completely ignored me as if I didn't exist and kept ringing up the couple. The f! Think of this little general store, which is inside Bryce Canyon National Park, as having a little variety of limited staples. We went there to get crackers to go with the cheese we brought with us and all they had was Saltines so we opted to get bread rolls from their hot soup bar (2 kinds of soups). They had plenty of snacks like candy and chips as well as an assortment of non-alcoholic beverages. There is also pizza by the slice when we were there. This is not a place to plan a menu and stock up in ingredients. You won't starve if you need something to fill your stomach. read more

I can't imagine giving this little general store less than 5 stars. This is a camp site general store that has all the little necessary comforts of home. This general store had a great staff with a great attitude. My family and I must have rode our bikes to this general store about 7-10 times in 2 days. They have batteries, laundry soap, (convenient for the laundromat in the back), body soap, light meds, souvenirs, soda,beer, fresh fruit, fresh donuts, SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM, hot pizza,hot dogs, fountain drink, and much much more. You can only expect so much from a general store and this one is the best general store I have ever gone to while camping. Their prices are not outrageous (like Sequoia), and just a minute or two walk from the general store leads you to the rim of Bryce canyon. You can pick up some fresh fruit and sit at the rim in wonder. Don't forget your bikes , there is miles of bike trails. read more
