Wow! Number one is the VIEW! Number two is the STEAK! Our server was so energetic and really positive vibes with great knowledge of the menu. Suggestions were on point! We ate everything so fast that I couldn't even get a photo!

One of the few restaurants in the area. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre and overpriced. We had the mixed platter and the roasted chicken. The entree comes with a complimentary roll and either soup or salad. We chose salad. The vegetables weren't even mixed together, just thrown on top of each other. The flavors of our dishes were a bit lacking and the portion size was small for the price.

Service is good. The view is amazing. Food is average. Tap beer is decent. Pecan pie was good. You don't have many options in the area so this one is OK.

The Combo

I wouldn't get the sandwiches for dinner, they're pretty small and won't fill you up. Get the pizza - I got the Combo. The crust was crisp, the sauce was great, good amount of cheese and toppings. The pasta is good and filling too! Get the mushroom ravioli. Service is great. We got takeout and it came out in exact the amount of time they said.

Came here with Mountain Based Tours - we had Cherie as our waitress. What a fun and delicious dinner! Our dinners came with salad or soup and we also tried the bean dip with chips. We also had the spaghetti with boulders and the fish with pinenuts. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was great! Would definitely return here!

The views are stunning but all the window seating was taken. The service was awesome and so friendly. We had the sweetest waitress. We got right in around 6:30-7 with a party of six. We all ordered totally different things - so I'll speak on my food first. I loved the Mahi Mahi and roasted squash. My husband didn't like his cowboy steak and ended up feeling bloated from it later. My daughter ate almost all her spaghetti. Her friend said the pesto pasta had too much sauce and she likes a lot of sauce. The Cesar salad was finished so I assume that was good and my friend didn't finish his trout so didn't seem to love it. I'd come here again but I don't think I could talk my family into it.

Went to dinner in Torrey. Not a ton of options in this town. Food overall was fine. Not necessarily noteworthy but not bad. The salsa tasted fresh, but had no spice. My salad was fine added chicken, that was grilled well. Again nothing wow special. My spouse did really enjoy his steak with sauce. He says was cooked well. Dessert with the pie was good, a little fresh whipped cream would add a nice touch over the canned stuff. Service was good though. Friendly staff. The restaurant is old and could some updating but the views are top notch.

We were seated right away and had a table by the window in the back and were able to enjoy gorgeous views for sunset. Service was quick and food was great. Salmon was cooked as requested and it was very well seasoned. Steamed vegetables were delicious. It was busy in the restaurant but not loud at all. Highly recommended if you are passing through Capitol Reef!

Our our complaints - and they're not really complaints - The pizzas are really doughy. We saw someone get thin crust after we ordered, so apparently we missed it on the menu. I would just suggest that perhaps the server ask if customers want thin crust when ordering. Secondly, the meat pizza took way longer than the other 2 pizzas. Apparently they ran out of something and had to run to get the ingredients. Wish they would have asked if we wanted to wait or order a different pizza. No discount or anything offered for the wait (about another 20-25 mins after we got the other pizzas). All in all a good visit

Great food and even better service…read more Rim Rock Patio was a great stop for us. The food was honestly way better than I expected for a small town spot. We ordered a medium Hang'em High pizza with Canadian bacon, sausage and pepperoni and it was exceptional. The Tucson tamale was packed with flavor and tasted homemade. My youngest ordered the baked pasta but swapped the marinara for pesto and it came out perfect. Everyone left happy. The service is what really made the meal stand out. Our server was incredible. She never let my Diet Coke get empty. Not once. She was friendly, fast and the kind of person who makes you feel taken care of the entire time. She was the definition of great service. The place has a relaxed Torrey vibe and the pricing was fair for what you get. Hot food, good portions and a team that clearly cares. If you are in Torrey, Rim Rock Patio is absolutely worth stopping for. Great food and even better people.

A true hidden gem in Boulder, Utah!…read more Sweetwater Kitchen is one of those places that makes the journey part of the experience. Tucked away off Hell's Backbone Road, the setting is absolutely beautiful, and the combination of the rustic atmosphere, incredible views, thoughtful food and great cocktails makes this a place I would definitely return to. We had the Rainbow Trout Filet, which was pan-seared and served with celery root purée, celery, almond green beans, baby tendrils, sundried tomato, remoulade and lemon vinaigrette. It was beautifully prepared, fresh and full of flavor. The BBQ Rib Eye Pork Chop was incredible--so tender it practically melted in your mouth. It was pan-roasted with sage and a homemade BBQ glaze, accompanied by summer corn, pepper drops, caramelized onion and an apple chutney. The combination of sweet and savory flavors was fantastic. We also tried the corn chowder, which featured late-season corn, bacon and micro cilantro. It was a delicious way to start the meal, and the cocktails were definitely worth mentioning. The Mountain Spring cocktail was refreshing and perfectly suited to the beautiful mountain setting. The Sugar House Rum Prickly Pear cocktail was another favorite--such a fun, flavorful drink and a great complement to dinner. What really stood out was how much this restaurant feels like an experience rather than simply a place to eat. Sweetwater Kitchen embraces the area around it, with seasonal ingredients, locally sourced food and a relaxed ranch atmosphere. The restaurant describes its philosophy as seasonal cooking with ingredients at their peak, including ingredients grown or raised right on the ranch. (Sweetwater Kitchen) If you're exploring Boulder, Escalante, Capitol Reef or Scenic Byway 12, put Sweetwater Kitchen on your list. It's worth getting off the main road for! Beautiful setting. Excellent food. Creative cocktails. A memorable Utah dining experience.

The beers are mostly domestic with only one micro brew selection but there were plenty of national brand choices. The food was home made and not bad for bar food. I had a Pittsburgh cheese steak sandwich that I thought was good. I ordered it with a side salad instead of fries as I had also ordered the loaded Pastrami fries which came with cheese, pickles and mustard on top. It was a bit too rich and heavy for my taste and the flavors didn't really work well together. Maybe without the mustard I would have liked it more. Not a bad place for a rest stop or a reasonable local hang out as well with some decent food.

The bathrooms were nice and clean with sinks outside. It isn't a vast menu, so we were able to try a little bit of everything. The portions are a good size, so be careful if you are sharing, as we may have slightly overordered. The Santa Fe Salad is a great portion, even without chicken, surprising for salad we even took some home. It was completely packed and flavorful. We also got the Mac N Cheese, nothing special. The real show was with the meats. We got a full rack, and they were delicious. Nice and juicy and easy to eat. We asked for extra BBQ sauce, and it was great. This was definitely my favorite, followed by the Smoked Brisket Sandwich. This was packed to the brim, and dipped in the BBQ sauce really made it. We also got the ribeye steak; this wasn't too fat, if anything, more on the thin side. This and the ribs came with a roll and baked potato. For dessert the cherry pie was so good, it was a little pricey for a piece of pie I cannot lie but I still enjoyed.

My family stopped by here and our way to the National Parks and are so glad that we did. As my dad said, "this was the best meal of our trip so far", comparing it to fine dining in Seattle. Circle D is a relatively small establishment overall, and so we had to wait for a table for about 20 minutes or so. The owners and a young waitress whom they had hired a couple weeks before were the only front staff. All of them were very friendly. As far as the food, we ordered the smoked tuna Niçoise salad, the bone-in pork chop, and the lemon chicken. We also had the truffle fries for an appetizer. The TRUFFLE FRIES were super flavorful and packed with umami flavors. The cheese was perfectly melted on top giving it an extra rich and savory flavor. The SMOKED TUNA NICOISE SALAD was also excellent. The fish had a well-rounded smoky taste and the salad was HUGE. All of the vegetables were extremely fresh and crisp; they included tomato, avocado, red radish, green beans, and olives. While the smoked fish was the star of the dish, the baked potato was by far the BEST baked potato I've had in my life- crisp and browned on the outside and soft in the inside. The BONE-IN PORKCHOP was the highlight of the dishes. I don't normally like porkchop as I usually find it too dry but this one was super moist. The apple and parsnip compote was BOMB. This is the must-get dish if you come. The LEMON CHICKEN was wonderfully tender and came with the amazing potatoes as described above and fresh green beans. It had prominent olive and lemon flavors and reminded me of the chicken my mom bakes in the oven at home. The atmosphere is cozy; and homely. They have about 10 tables in total or so. It is clean and they have an open patio if you want to dine outside. Overall: 5/5 for food, 5/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

The menu is creative, thoughtful, and full of subtle Asian influences without feeling like it is trying too hard to fit into one category. We kept noticing little details like yuzu, black sesame, crispy shallots, and silken tofu, and eventually became so curious about the chef that we asked about her. Chef Tessa came out and sat with us, and we were so glad she did. She has only been there a short time, and she created the menu herself. Hearing about her background and how she developed the dishes made us appreciate the food even more. The tuna crudo with yuzu was beautiful. The vegan chocolate mousse was outstanding and made with silken tofu, which I never would have guessed. It was rich, smooth, and had this wonderful crunchy element with black sesame, sea salt, and a caramel-like sweetness. The fry bread was another favorite. I had never had fry bread before, so I had nothing to compare it to, but it had this delicate balance of savory and sweet that reminded me a little of funnel cake batter without all the powdered sugar. And then there is the Baked Utah. This dessert deserves its own paragraph. Yuzu sponge cake, raspberry, and marshmallow meringue piped into the shape of a little beehive. Utah is the Beehive State, so it is clever, adorable, completely appropriate to the setting, and it tastes amazing. It honestly feels like something that should become a signature Utah dessert. The service was just as memorable as the food. Everyone was warm, relaxed, and genuinely kind. Even the bartender made an impression. I ordered club soda with orange bitters, loved the bitters, and she was sweet enough to bring us the bottle. Sky Nova ended up being one of the highlights of our entire Bryce Canyon trip.
