The location was convenient, although the space is small and narrow, making it very uncomfortable to stand so close together and the acoustics of the room are terrible and barley audible music. Overall the environment is uninviting and awkward. Waited in a long line for over 10 minutes and service was mediocre. It was so crowded and not enough tables for everyone waiting around. We had to go outside and it's obviously hot. They offered free warm tap water with lemon slices. Again, disappointing and made the long wait even worst. Waited about 15mins maybe a bit longer for the cinnamon rolls. The consistency was on point although the bottom was hard. Not enough glaze to cinnamon roll, the topping was not as marketed, not fluffy rather watery, no billowiness as shown but the toppings were good. Overall the taste was mediocre at best. However I was greeted by a corporate hound who had the "I am right" mentality. This was not my first encounter with the chain, but my first visit to this location. After spending over $7 on my roll, a flavor I have ordered at 2 separate locations, I opened the box at home to find a barely sprinkled roll of strawberries and pie toppings. Surely I thought since they were new, this May have been a glitch With training. After reaching out through yelp, providing not only my own photos from this and other locations, I provided photos by friends who had also visited this very location. I assure you my roll Was the barest. Sadly Terri from corporate told me I was wrong and that every photo I provided had "more than usual" toppings which is a training issue among many locations... I highly Doubt that is a coincidence. It would have been the right thing to do to admit my $7 roll was truly bare and to apologize or offer a service recovery, however it was more important for the corporate "mogul" to be right and tell me to continue going to the location since I love the rolls. I will not go back and give this place my business here or any other location. Cinnaholic is a delicious treat!! They have so many options to choose from. Immediate friendly service. The orders are made fast and accurately. The cinnamon rolls are sooo good, and not too heavy/filling, so you don't feel uncomfortable after enjoying one. This place was the best! I can't wait to go back again and try a different creation. On this visit we had Strawberries with Cream Cheese and Lemon with Blueberry Pie. You can pick any toppings you want for $0.25-0.50 each on top of the $5.25 for the cinnamon roll. For the two the total was around $15. For a fun treat for our weekend without our kids (they were at their grandparents while we got shopping done), the price was totally fine. For a large family the price would add up, but it's a unique experience you don't get that often, so still totally worth it. read more

Okay so I'm going to start this review by saying the cinnamon rolls are very good. But they are so expensive. Too expensive. Also the entire place is "plant based" which means no dairy at all. You want creamer for your coffee? It will Be plant based. Even the sugar was "beet sugar". Come on. Regular sugar comes from a plant!! I attended the grand opening on 7/12/19. When i first got there i thought we would only be in line for about 45 min to an hour. If i knew i was going to be in line for 3 hours in the heat i definitely wouldn't of waited (I wish i was exaggerating). Luckily there were workers giving out water and fans. They also had hired a DJ and princesses for the children. They were performing and offering face paint and balloons. Once we got into the place the workers were not working as quickly as i thought they'd be for there being a 3 hour line. They were very nice though. Luckily i was able to get my cinnamon roll for $1. It was great and tasted amazing but was not worth the 3 hour wait in the heat and 50 min drive. I would definitely return here but i will never be attending a grand opening of any place ever again especially with the Arizona hell weather. read more

I've been here several times. The to go though is hit and miss. The first time we ordered to go the mini cinnamon rolls were hot and they provided a piping bag of the 3 flavors of frosting which was perfect for putting them on when they cooled a little. We just left with another order tonight and the single roll was perfect but the minis were cold not a little but like right out the fridge and they provided 3 very tiny plastic frosting containers which would maybe cover 2 each. My husband went back in and asked if they could just frost them like they did the big roll and they said it will melt? What they are cold? They just handed him more frosting containers. They were super busy so it wasn't worth an argument but for the cost I expected more. I will go out of my way to go to Cinnabon from now on. read more

I ordered baby buns and it cames with a frosting. I added two toppings to my order. The baby buns came out room temperature! It wasn't warm, if anything it was cold. The toppings I ordered weren't even assembled on the cinnamon bun!! They put the toppings and frosting in little to-go cups. I did not know I was supposed to add the frosting and toppings myself. I drove all the way to Gilbert to try these and was not disappointed. My friend and I each created our own roll and they were amazing. Very rich and could not finish them. I really really wanted to give them more stars because the first time I ever ordered from them last year they were amazing. The last two times I ordered their half a dozen cinnamon rolls - there was VERY LITTLE toppings and what they did use to top was not actually on top of the cinnamon rolls. So I called them before I ordered the second time, and they explained that it always happens with the toppings because the icing is hot and they slip off which is understandable and fine.... but the second time I ordered there were only 2-3 pieces of toppings on each cinnamon roll- for example: 2-3 blueberries on one, 2-3 raspberries on the other ... and they were kind of hard- not as soft as expected. so I decided I won't be trying them for what would have been a third in the last few weeks because it's pricey and not worth the hype in my opinion. Placed an order for delivery through DoorDash that never arrived. Door dash says Cinnaholic took my payment, accepted my order, and a Dasher never received the order. DoorDash is definitely to blame, but restaurants have the ability to check in with DoorDash customer service, which they never did.
