Honestly my favorite part has to be the amount of frosting on top, I'm weird don't judge, I unroll my cinnamon roll as I eat it and dip it in the frosting. These have my version of the perfect balance of frosting to roll and I warm them up they are soft sweet and delish. The staff was very nice. They have plenty of parking out front a little table out front you can enjoy your coffee and roll and people watch. You can also sit inside. They have a restroom available to the public. Just dig in as they're worth it warm! I took one star off just for lack of communication when I ordered. I visited Cinnaholic for the first time and was super impressed by the fun variety of icings and toppings. I ordered several cinnamon rolls as first-day-of-school gifts for teachers, plus a couple for my kids' and friends first day of school surprise breakfast. The display rolls looked amazing, so I chose toppings I thought would hold up well overnight--avoiding messy fruits and asking the cashier how cookie dough and chocolate chip cookies would appear as big chunks or small crumbled. But when I got home, the rolls looked nothing like the display. The toppings had melted flat, and the cookie dough became more like gooey icing than chunks. Because of the messy appearance, I ended up not giving them as gifts to teachers, which was a bummer. That said since we didn't give them as gifts, we had a whole bunch of cinnamon rolls to try when I got home and wow, they were delicious. The coffee, cake batter, peanut butter, cream cheese, and vanilla icings were all amazing. The kids loved the cake batter best. I especially liked the warm, gooey cookie dough topping. Customer service responded quickly to my email and explained that rolls need time to cool if you want them to look like the photos. Apparently, you should call ahead or wait about 30 minutes for that--but I wish that had been mentioned when I ordered, especially since I said they were for the next day. read more

What surprised me the most was the prices as they aren't displayed properly on their menu. It says $5.50 on their rolls menu but that's a lie; only the Old Skool costs that much but all their other signature rolls cost more than $7 each. They also sell Dole pineapple ice cream, brownies, cookie dough, and cookies. My crony and I ordered a total of 3 different signature rolls, a brownie, and a chocolate chip cookie which came out to $30. Note that these cinnamon rolls are heavy and filled to the brim with calories (they're 800-1000 calories each) and will definitely fill you up if you eat one and make you feel like you've gained an extra 4lbs. read more

I was beyond ecstatic to have Cinnaholic and it DID NOT disappoint! After the bakery in San Diego relocated, I have not had Cinnaholic in years. That being said, I made sure to make a stop for Cinnaholic while visiting Arizona. I have to say, it was even better than I remembered. The featured rolls on display looked absolutely phenomenal, however I decided to 'design your own cinnamon roll' with vanilla icing and cookie dough. The roll itself was so fresh and delicious. The icing was flavorful beyond words. Perfectly warmed, the icing and cookie dough slightly softened and enhanced the overall flavor. Staff at this location were very friendly, further adding to the positive experience. Though many stores and restaurants are starting to integrate more plant-based options into their menus, Cinnaholic still offers a truly memorable and unique experience. We got three cinnamon buns, something like strawberry with marshmallows, one with cookie dough (think, my son ordered it) and brownies and I ordered one with brownies and caramel. This is our family's new obsession! We've purchased half-dozen sized boxes 3 times now and every single time we've purchased, the cinnamon rolls were literally fresh out of the oven and were still warm by the time we got home 40 minutes later. The rolls are packed very well when you buy in quantity. They come in an attractive box that's lined with black and white check-marked wax paper. They also give you a large tub of frosting (any flavor you want) and have been very generous with giving us a novelty flavor on the side such as pumpkin spice during the holidays and maple for our pop's birthday. They even gave us some sprinkles to add to our pop's roll on his birthday too. Most importantly, the rolls actually aren't too sweet if you go easy on the frosting. Truly, you're in control of how much or how little you use, if at all. It's a simple approach that's brilliant and keeps your sugar count down if you want to. The rolls taste really yeast-y and are also excellent the next day if you just warm them up. What I love most about Cinnaholic is the friendly accommodating service. These people are not only friendly, but they typically bend over backwards to make the order not only "right" but excellent. We have to drive a distance to buy here, but it's worth it. We've even earned rewards which has lowered our bill. They use CashApp for the rewards and it's incredibly easy to earn points. I ordered just a basic cinnamon roll with icing. It was very fresh and warm even after I drove home with it. It was almost $6 for one which I thought was expensive but this wouldn't be an every day treat. The roll was delicious but my favorite part is the frosting and I was a bit disappointed. I like it smooth and creamy and it felt a bit gritty like the sugar wasn't melted completely. Not really sure what made it that way but the flavor was sweet and tasty. I tried this the other day and the option were pretty endless. They had a variety of frosting like creme Brule, banana, etc. Honestly you name it they probably have it. Then there are a bunch of different toppings. I got a creme Brule frosting with cookie dough bits and banana bread bits. When I tell you it was so fire, it is an understatement. The roll is a good size and was delicious. It probably is best to share because it is sugary but it's a cinnamon roll place, it's supposed to be sugary. I definitely will be going back. But in here to review the second time because I actually walked in with my 5 year old son I thought this time would be different but with was worse. We walked in and there was an elderly couple deciding or ordering as we walked in. The person working behind the counter didn't give a greet or anything. Looked right at us and said nothing. Like he was super busy with the couple but even if he was you acknowledge the guest and say I'll be right with you.
