So as I developed food allergies I have had to limit a lot of the food I used to eat. This place make me feel normal. These cinnamon rolls and other desserts are complete vegan. No dairy, no eggs, and a lot of other stuff . What does that mean for people like me? I can eat dessert! Yesss! I ordered online Ans my order was there when I showed up. It was ready in time and was still warm when I got there. My cinnamon rolls has orange, and lemon icing, and one had the original flavor. The store had seating for a few if you want to eat there. The place was very tidy. It did not smell like musty mop water in there. Thank you guys! They were so so good. And these rolls are huge so for 3 - I spent under 20$ with a tip. I will be back for more.
I was thoroughly impressed with the Cinnaholic experience. Their cinnamon rolls were warm, gooey and soft on the inside. They melted as they entered my mouth. The outside was a bit crispier which provided me the option of eating with my hands or a fork (I chose the latter). The inventive vegan toppings enhanced the roll, working with it to provide a complete vegan dessert experience. Cinnaholic's rolls come in all different flavors. They have seasonal, signature and traditional flavors along with the option of building your own. I opted for two traditional rolls (my kids aren't very adventurous) and the signature Caramel Apple Pie which features caramel frosting topped with fresh apples, pecans, homemade pie crumble and caramel sauce. The rolls aren't cheap. They cost between six and eight dollars. But they are big and completely plant based. I could not finish the roll in one sitting.
The cinnamon buns here are delicious- especially if they are eaten warm. They have many tasty toppings. Since the basic frosting is already pretty sweet - choose your toppings wisely. The baby buns are a nice choice if you want to enjoy a treat without that sugar high. There is some seating inside, but in nice weather the outdoor seating is nice and a tiny play space for younger kids across the parking lot. Recommend getting the frosting on the side so you can use the desired amount and spread it evenly.
Took my kids here for dessert. I had never been here before and it seemed like a place they would love. Sure enough, they did. Do beware, you could end up with coronary artery blockages just from looking at the menu let alone actually eating anything, but every once in a while you gotta take that risk. We got the cookies and cream bun and the cookies and cream scoop of cookie dough. The bun was a decadent 5, the cookie dough more like a 3, so I am landing on 4 stars here. My advice, go with the buns and skip the dough. The cookies and cream bun was good sized, with lots of frosting and oreos and brownies on top. The bun itself was gooey and delicious as it should be, with just a hint of crisp around the edges. At $7 it's not cheap, but for the portion size and richness it's fairly reasonable. The dough was okay, but not particularly great. You could do better grabbing a tube of Tollhouse at the nearby grocery store and going with that instead. Good tip, you can make your own bun. There are lots of frosting options, lots of topping options, and they aren't that expensive. 25 cents for a frosting, 50 cents per topping. I have no doubt my kids will be dragging me back here soon and, to be honest, it won't take all that much dragging.
I stumbled upon this gem in Charm City! They serve warm cinnamon buns topped with amazingness. They took a staple and raised the bar. The flavors change, and they have monthly features. They have mini versions that are too stinking cute. I loved how they were made fresh. Good icing and topping to bun ratio. Also not overly sweet. I have been wanting to try this place for years and finally made my way there during vegan restaurant week. I got the pecan praline roll and it was sooo good! The flavor of the cinnamon roll was like any other cinnamon roll, and then it had chai frosting on top with pralines. You honestly wouldn't even be able to tell the difference between this and a non-vegan roll. I would 100% order this over a non-vegan cinnamon roll any day!! They have a large variety and you can make your own as well. I think the price point is fair. Mine cost $6.50 and I think it was definitely worth it.
I really wanted to like this place, because the place looks great, beautiful posters of customized cinnamon buns on the walls, and lovely visual samples of the different flavors. And those Shark Tank folks made it seem like the most heavenly place ever. So expectations were set really high. But $19 dollars later (for 3 cinnamon buns, that's $6.something per bun), I was hit with reality. The buns were not even warm, but hard, stale, and dry. The hazelnut and cream cheese frostings were WTF?? They tasted so synthetic and artificial, that I had to throw them in the trash after a few bites. The plain flavor was a little better. I expected these to be the cinnamon buns of my dreams. But instead they were the cinnamon buns of my nightmares. Moral of the story: Just because something is vegan doesn't mean it has to taste like trash. This place makes me sad.

I heard that this is a vegan brand which caught my attention. I have a mild allergy to dairy so this was my initial reason for trying it. I think if you also have this issue I would give it a try. But if you are expecting it to be like Cinnabon it is not. I probably won't be buying it again, however it was decent for what it was. My experience also could be different because I got it delivered as well, it may taste a little different if you get it fresh from the store. However the basics of it being less sweet is still true. The hardness from the cinnamon roll part probably comes from the fact it is vegan. Overall a somewhat decent place, the toppings definitely make it taste good in my opinion.
I can't believe it's all vegan! I've gone to this Cinnaholic for years, and I always like it. There are countless options and when I've been there, my service has been good. I get the edible cookie dough, the Cookie Monster, Campfire S'mores, or I just get a plain cinnamon roll if I'm not feeling too fancy that day. I normally split it someone, because they're HUGE. They're normally around 6-8 bucks so it's a cheap treat. Did I mention it's all vegan? ;)
This is the subway of Cinnamon buns. Great first time here. I came here on a Sunday morning and was able to get in, order, get my cinnamon bun and get out. The service is quick and fast. Only take about 2-3 minutes for them to make the cinnamon bun that you want. I made a custom cinnamon roll with maple frosting, cinnadoodle cookie bites and Oreo cookies. Man O Man! Cinnamon roll was light and hot. Would have never know this was a vegan treat. Frosting was covered all on the top of the roll and with a nice size of toppings. I will surely be going back with some more custom creations I have in mind.
Vegan and Delicious!! I just got the classic cinnamon roll. It was absolutely amazing. Light, buttery tasting, with a yummy cream cheese frosting. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I can't wait to have it again.
Yum! The concept sort of reminds me of a donut shop but for cinnamon buns. The buns are quite large and hefty, come in different flavors, and each come in their own container. I got the chai, coffee, and strawberry and wished that the flavors hit the mark a bit better - still I was very happy stuffing my face with them. I do agree with others that the "sauce" could be thicker; by the time I got home a lot of the sauce had run off the bun onto the bottom of the container. Best to eat fresh obviously. Price is a bit hefty but a nice treat once in a while.
It's official, I'm a Cinnaholic-holic (I've been waiting to write a review just so I could say that). I just moved to Baltimore last month, but I've already been here several times and tried something different each time, which has all been delicious! They have custom cinnamon rolls, cookie dough, cookies and brownies. For the cinnamon rolls, you can pick from a variety of different flavored icings and toppings like strawberries, brownie bites, graham crackers, etc. There are also several options for toppings if you order their cookie dough - I tried the PB&J and loved it! I completely forget that their desserts are vegan while I'm eating them... I really don't know how they do it. You can eat cookie dough here without having to worry about getting Salmonella (no raw eggs!). It's definitely a bit pricey, but that's fairly standard for vegan food, and I think it's worth the splurge once in a while.
Stopped in for a quick coffee and treat. Very casual environment and the shop is conveniently located by several other places. There are a handful of cinnamon rolls to get and the all looked delicious. We got the old school and the very berry...both very tasty! read more

I love Cinnaholic! The rolls are so fresh and tasty. I usually get the Old Skool roll but sometimes I'll create my own with cream cheese, caramel drizzle and pecans. Service is always quick and friendly. I was surprised when I found out the cinnamon rolls are vegan! They taste just as good as non-vegan ones. If you haven't tried it yet, don't hesitate! read more

We walked in and were greeted immediately. I am always impressed with great customer service as it's hard to come by these days. The young lady helping us gave us suggestions and was super patient and kind. My cousin got a scoop of snickerdoodle cookie dough and I got regular cookie dough. They were amazing! The Rotunda has a sweet addition to satisfy your sugar cravings. Located right across the street from the CineBistro movie theater, Cinnaholic is definitely gonna make a name for itself. Offering patrons personalized, hot, ooey, gooey cinnamon rolls. And how dare they make these sinful cinnamon rolls vegan! Which makes you feel even better about gobbling up all that sugar. Although the vegan cinnamon rolls may be slathered in your frosting of choice and then topped with your favorite toppings, I actually didn't find them to be overwhelming sweet, which was actually nice. You can opt for the classic cinnamon roll or be bold and create your very own special cinnamon roll. The classic cinnamon roll starts out at $5.25 and then you choose your frosting for $.25 and then your toppings of choice for $.50 a piece. Since we've become people who love to take part in creating and personalizing our food, capitalizing on the trend with cinnamon rolls is genius. This "as seen on Shark Tank" idea is a nice new asset to the Rotunda, and an even tastier satisfying vegan treat. read more
Despite some of the mediocre reviews, I have to say, this place was a total winner for me! Bringing the sweet flavor combos with good service, cleanliness, and a touch of vegan to boot. Ok, all vegan. But don't let that stop you. We indulged in the caramel apple pie and the hopkins finest rolls during our first visit. And let me tell you (contrary to some of the reviews), they brought the sweetness. They come out looking just like the pictures, so the presentation is certainly on point! And the taste is equally as amazing! We met the owner who was at the register (side note: love that the "money taker" and "food preppers" are separate) - who had some suggestions on best sellers. The rolls came out with the perfect mix of toppings to icing to roll ratio. You weren't trying to scrape to find icing or toppings at the end, nor were you hit so hard with sweet that you couldn't eat it. Great balance. read more
Service: 15/10!! There was only one guy working on the Thursday afternoon when we came but he was so so nice and kind. He also put so much care and attention into each topping on our cinnamon rolls. It was the sweetest thing. Food: DECADENT. If you love rich chocolatey sugary goodness, the Cookie Monster is heavenly. You can pile on the toppings like frosting, cookie dough, and all sorts of crunchy cookies or sprinkles or candy or syrups. This is a dessert lovers dream. Also the buns are HUGE. VEGAN SWEETNESS. The gps to this location will lose you and point you towards Starbucks. However, it is right next to the sushi spot across from MOD's pizza. The popular ones are right in the front or you can make your custom cinnamon roll. My bf and I chose Cookie Monster and Hopkins Finest. They were SO DELICIOUS. Cinnamon rolls are good alone but with the toppings they make them super super good. The cinnamon is warm with melted frosting, the cookie dough on top is cold topped with chocolate chips and drizzled with chocolate. This is totally a desert to devour. $$ Very pricey, three of them totaled to $20. read more

I first tried this place in Atlanta, imagine finding it right in Baltimore. It is worth the 30-45 minute drive - for vegan cinnamon buns, yes indeed!! There are several flavors and toppings, oh my what am I supposed to do? Try them all that's what - so far there have been 5 different ones (4) in Atlanta. I am allergic to dairy, you know I was thrilled to have cream cheese icing! Heavens, my lips, tongue, throat were all grinning!! My new spot, wait until the weather gets warmer, I'll even hop on Amtrak to get a Cinnaholic bun! I'm not playing! read more

Remember those old school cartoons where an imaginary smell would turn into a finger, beckoning you in somewhere? That is pretty much what a cinnamon roll does to me. It speaks to me, figuratively and literally. Cinnaholic offers a custom twist on the cinnamon roll with tons of frosting flavors (step one) and toppings (step two) - perfect for a build-your-own lover like me. I blame Build-a-Bear for Pavlov-ing my taste. The bun came out hot and melty, fully covered in cream cheese and raspberry dressing, and topped with graham crackers and cookie dough. FYI their cookie dough does NOT contain egg, so it is safe for consumption. It was the perfect size, already in a to-go container. Docking a star because I wish their cream cheese was a bit thicker. Its consistency was more sauce- or syrup-like. read more

I just would like to tell anyone whose in the area to please stop by this business and try there cinnamon rolls. I didn't even realize that this was a vegan spot. The cinnamon rolls was very good and TASTY !!!!!!! We will def be back!!! Try them you will not be disappointed read more

I finally made it over to try Cinnaholic after staring at pics of the various options on IG for months while doing a 90 day weight loss challenge. I knew exactly what I wanted to treat myself for completing it. The day that I went, it was completely empty so I didn't have to wait. I decided to try the "Hot Cocoa Dream" and "Oreos Roll". Both was delicious! I can't wait to go back and try some different combinations of frosting and toppings. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I went out to Bmore with a friend and explored the city while he worked. When it was time to get lunch we ended up getting pizza's from &pizza and I noticed a cinnabun shop across the street. Now, I LOVE Cinnabon. I mean, I think it's one of the best fast food places ever! Lol. I walked into the restaurant and immediately told the staff it smelled like Heaven in there! They laughed and offered to help me. They pointed to the oh-so helpful display case and I picked the prettiest option lol. I could not have been more happy with my little cinnabun. It was warm, the perfect size (yes, I ate all of it in one sitting. Sue me lol.), and so good. I still get offers for a few dollars off, which is great! Too bad I'm not in Bmore too often, but on my next trip back I will stop by! If you're in the area, or if you're not GO CHECK IT OUT. You won't be disappointed. read more
Oh my gosh their cinnamon buns are delicious!! I got a cinnamon bun with peanut butter frosting, Oreo cookies, brownie bites, and a scoop of cookie dough on top. There were so many frosting and topping options that it took me awhile to decide. You pick one frosting flavor and one topping. After one topping, I think you pay extra. The cinnamon buns are also huge! I couldn't finish mine in one sitting. They also have scoops of cookie dough that you can purchase separately, but I asked to add it to my cinnamon bun since I was feeling extra indulgent. I also saw pictures of scoops of cookie dough on top of cinnamon buns on their Instagram so I thought this was a common thing. The staff member seemed like he's never heard of such a request before but he happily combined the two. You do have to pay for both the cinnamon roll and cookie dough since the cookie dough scoop isn't a normal topping. But if you love cookie dough and don't mind paying extra, I definitely recommend doing it! The staff were friendly and the dessert was delicious. I definitely recommend going... maybe s couple of times so you can try different combos. read more
Came here for a sweet treat while in the area. Upon entering, the aroma of cinnamon awakens your senses and that is definitely a good thing! There was a process to ordering: 1) choose your frosting ( among offerings included almond, banana cream, marshmallow, orange) 2) choose your topping (pretzel pieces, pie crumble, strawberry jam, brownie bites). It was difficult, but I decided on the traditional cream cheese with dry walnuts to check out what the true taste of the roll was. It didn't disappoint. The roll arrived warm with gooey cream cheese frosting and an ample amount of walnuts. The thing I liked about this roll was that it was not overly sweet, like say a Cinnabon. The the roll was a bit denser and the cream cheese provided the right amount of sweetness without it being overbearing, just how I like my sweets. The eatery decor was industrial and clean with table seating available. The counter staff were pleasant, patient and helpful. All in all, a great place to come and indulge in your sweet tooth jones! read more

These cinnabon are the devil they are so goo!!! You can sit down or go. I had a fruit cinnabon with mixed berries, raspberry jam, and orange cream icing. It was so good!!!! We also had the hot coco bon that had cookie, marshmallows, coco marshmallow icing and fudge syrup. Reminds u of a s'mores. I highly recommend the fruit cinnabon read more

The aroma in this place is simply sinful. When In walked in there was a couple ahead of me who had already ordered and was awaiting their dessert. It took a ten minute wait before I was able to be tended to seeing that there was only one person staffed. The employee was sweet and patient so it didn't bother me any. They have about 8 specialty bun's you can choose from if you are like myself and can be indecisive at times. Honestly I looked up and saw all the custom choices you can choose from and began to sweat. I would have picked everything and ended up with a $100 Snack so I decided to pick two specialty buns instead for about $25. F.B.T(First Bite Thought) term I've coined lol.... THE BUN- pretty decent size although I hear they are bigger in other locations. It was a little dry yet still soft but lacked flavor and tasted a little bland almost like pizza crust flavor. I actually said to myself I wish it had more flavor like a fresh Cinnabon (key word here is fresh) lord knows the ones been sitting out can suck thumb. But I digress The Toppings- this my friends is where the home run was hit! Super fresh, not overly sweet, the cookie dough, chocolate sauce, cream cheese icing transformed the bun from a forgetful task to a must have experience. I was pretty excited to try this place after I saw the reviews but I'm a little disappointed. I was even more excited after seeing the pictures of the place because it looked so amazing. Was expecting much better but it was honestly average. Starting with the cons, the icing was not that good. It wasn't sweet at all, tasted a little sour. I would recommend Cinnabon over this place. Pros: the toppings. I got the cookie cinnamon roll. The cookie dough was pretty good though. Not overly sweet but still soft. Another pro is that the cashier was nice. They answer any questions you have and it didn't take too long to get my roll after I ordered it. Overall, I would say try this place if you haven't. You might have a different experience than me.
