Really good breakfast. They have flavored creamer which not a lot of breakfast places in town do. In addition, there are many different options for breakfast. You can go traditions breakfast style or you can go Mexican! I love a place that gives you that choice :-) the service is great and the staff is always very friendly. The only reason I'm not giving that extra star is because my food was a bit under-seasoned. Over all, the experience was great though. My sister and I came in and ate about 45 minutes from closing time, we weren't rushed at all and the waitress was so wonderful and accommodating. I ordered the steak picado, which came with large portions of refried beans, rice, and tortillas. I just wish it would've been seasoned better and spicy like the menu said.. I really loved this diner! It is an interesting mix of Mexican and American, but overall it was a great experience. The waitresses were extremely attentive and the atmosphere was classic diner. First time coming here and I really like the variety and options. If you feel up to American or Mexican food you get both here. I went in for breakfast and I thought I wanted the traditional pancakes with eggs and bacon. Instead my husband got a Menudo that he said was amazing.! I got a number 1 enchilada plate with rice and beans and it was also delicious. Enchilada had plenty of chicken in it and great flavor. The waitress was very nice., she was prompt and gave us what she knew we needed and we did not have to ask for anything. She was on top of it.! I never saw the bottom of my coffee cup because she would notice when I was low and come refill. Awesome service and great food. I will coming back for more. read more

So I put this place to the test & ordered the 3-combination Mexican meal (chile rellenos, shedded beef taco, red sauce enchilada). Most places I've been to who claim to make "great mexican" food, fail in my eyes, because first of all I don't expect "homemade mexican food" but at least it should taste as close as possible. The parking lot is a 1 star- triangular parking lot in a busy intersection, not enough parking spaces and is somewhat hard to get into Waitress is 2 stars- seeemed a little frustrated when I asked her some questions concerning the menu, even though I told her it was my first time there Food is 4 stars- My family and I I ordered breakfast and it was brought out to us in a short amount of time. The prices were good Even tough the food was good I probably won't be back due to the parking and the service. I worked here for about 6 years. I absolutely loved working here! The owner is wonderful and the other waitresses were awesome ladies. I have to say that I miss the food as well as the customers. Decided to try this place for breakfast today and it was very amazing!!! Excellent service and the breakfast menu is perfect for people who like Mexican mix also. Chose this place for breakfast this morning cuz of the reviews on Yelp. Nothing fancy here. Not much of decor to speak of. As stated in other reviews, parking is poor in front of the restaurant. Several spots that are there really shouldn't be as they are too difficult to get in and out of. As we were walking in, I had to help guide a truck out as they couldn't maneuver the lot. There is a lot next door that is convenient but we went on a Sunday so I don't know if its available on weekdays. Since I was aware of the parking problem, I just parked in the street. Regardless of the parking issues, I will still return because we enjoyed our breakfast. The staff were great and on the ball. The coffee was really good. I ordered the Chili Verde omelette which came with rice and beans I also ordered a side of hash browns. The rice and beans and hash browns were just OK but the omelette was excellent! One of the best I've ever had. My girlfriend had the Veggie Omelette which she also enjoyed. There were several other Mexican breakfast dishes I still want to try so I definitely will return. They also have a small outdoor patio which nice for those warm mornings. The place was full but we were seated almost immediately. By the time we left, approx 11:00 am, there were maybe 2-3 parties waiting so it wouldn't have been that long of wait. Can't wait to go back. read more

Me and my kids just love this place. They offer the best chips and salsa and the food is always on point. I recommend a flour tortilla enchilada with shredded beef and green sauce. My husband and I have been coming here about once-a-week for over 10 years. It is hands down the best place in Turlock for breakfast! They are a family restaurant that checks off all the boxes. First of all, they have three flavors of International coffee creamers (in addition to regular) with which to enhance their delicious coffee, and they carry Splenda (served upon request). The menu is very reasonably priced and offers a choice between Traditional American or Mexican food for both breakfast and lunch (I love their California omelette; my husband loves the chorizo scrambled); they have great M-F early bird specials; they will make your food special-order the way that you want it; and the portion sizes are huge (I always ask for a box when the food is delivered and put 1/2 of it away to take home for another meal...and I still leave stuffed)! All of the girls who work there are friendly and efficient; and the owner, Sammy, is right there working alongside the staff making sure that the needs of all the customers are satisfied. Beware that parking is limited (although there is an adjacent lot to the north/west, and a large lot across the street). Also, it is a very small restaurant, and because they have such a loyal clientele unless you get there before 8:30am you will most likely have to wait for a table (although they do have additional counter and patio seating). The fact that the core staff has been the same all these years and there has been very little turnover speaks volumes: A happy staff makes for a happy dining environment. This is actually a note regarding the 12u baseball team that you sponsor, the Cindy's Restaurant Giants of Turlock, CA. What a fantastic group of kids (and coaches BTW) number 1, and number 2 they are all incredible ballplayers, and it was an honor to play them in the Chamionship game today. Even though they had to battle 2 or 3 extra innings of international tiebreaker rules in the prior game in the heat and gusts of wind and dust like i have never seen in my life, they had about 5 mins to get ready to play in the championship and boy were they ready. A hard fought battle it was and it was all hands on deck as every pitcher that could still throw was asked to go out there and battle one more time, and they did with dignity, class, excellence and skill and more sportsmanship than I have seen in a long time. But the greatest thing was when I asked my son what the team was like, he said "They were awesome dad, super nice guys, heck I was even wishing that firstbaseman could on my team so I could be his friend!" So I was hoping, if you would, that you could pass this note along to the team, that not only do we have so much respect for what they did and how they played for almost 6hrs nonstop, but that they are one of the best teams we have seen, and also collectively, an outstanding group of young men. You should be very proud to be their sponsor and we will definitley try to make that trip out to Cindy's Restaurant! Thanks! read more
