Haven't been here in years. This place rocks. Service was excellent. Food was awesome. No complaints from me. Forgot to take a lot of pics.

I have to say I am pretty impressed with the food here. I've never heard of this place before until hubby told me it's a chain restaurant. I like the Latin twist to the typical diner. I did have the Menudo from the menu though it's not as good as the local Mexican restaurant by my house but it's OK. Everything else that came with. It was delicious and the service was acceptable. Price: $- $$ Quality: A Service: A

Great Mom and Pop... Nothing taste better then home cooked food. I had the beef vegetable and my friend had menudo. Best soup ever! Mexican and American food. Large Menu.... The restaurant and bathrooms are clean. Say hello to Suzie, Valerie and Teresa for me.

First thing: hands down, Cindy's makes the greatest salsa EVER! This unassuming spot is usually pretty busy, especially on a Saturday. It literally feels like home in there. It's clean and serves up the best comfort food. A restaurant serving American & Mexican dishes threw me off at first but it makes sense, especially for the area. It's a perfect combination of a typical American diner food and traditional Mexican dishes. Where else can you get good huevos rancheros and chicken fried steak and eggs?! Oh and did I mention free chips and salsa?! The parking lot here is super funky. It's right off golden state in a busy intersection so be careful! Overall, a must try for breakfast or lunch. Pro tip: you can order their delicious chips & salsa by the pound!!! It's always a hit at parties!

This place is def a local breakfast spot. You can tell by the customers who come, they have been coming for years. Anyhow, the food. The food is OK. Food comes out hot but I can definitely make a better breakfast at home. The salsa, it tastes like an el pato can. The biscuits and gravy, I've had better for sure. The sausage didn't look too appealing. They offer Mexican and American, but the Mexican is not authentic. If everything else around is closed and this is the only place open, then I would come back.

So I have lived in Turlock since 2007. Driven by Cindy's many many times but never stopped here for breakfast. Why? That's a darn good question. The wife and I finally made the pit stop and let me just say, we were glad we did. We were seated in the outside dining since the restaurant was packed. It was morning time so the weather was perfect. I went with their special which consisted of two eggs, I picked two sausage links, potatoes and toast. The wife went with the breakfast enchiladas. They offer chips and salsa which were YUMMY. Warm corn tortilla chip but they felt as if they were flour chips. Weird but delicious. The salsa had a kick. The kind of kick where your mouth is burning but you can't stop eating it. Did I mention they serve Pepsi products? I love me some Diet Pepsi. The food came out fast and it was time to eat. My food was delicious. My wife liked her plate to. Her only complaint and I agree, leave the lettuce garnish off the plate. No one likes wilted lettuce. Talk about a great experience overall. The food was great, the staff was awesome. They always checked on us.

It's Always so so good ! We had bacon cheese burger and fries and chili Verde dinner. We came for lunch this time , but let me tell you their breakfast is also out of this world delicious . If disappointment had a flavor, it would be the fajitas at El Charro…read more I ordered fajitas expecting that classic sizzling, seasoned, mouthwatering experience. What I got instead was what I can only describe as lightly warmed, paper-thin sadness. The meat was dry, completely unseasoned, and so thin I'm pretty sure it qualified as deli meat. I've had better flavor from airport food... and that's saying something. No sizzle, no aroma, no personality. Just a plate that looked like it gave up halfway through cooking. Service? Let's just say it matched the food--uninspired and forgettable. The only positive is that this meal actually helped my diet because after a few bites I had zero desire to keep eating. So technically... thanks for that? Would I come back? Only if I needed a reminder of what fajitas are not supposed to be. 0/10 for flavor 10/10 for reinforcing my self-control

The green sauce has pork in it:( our server was friendly and knowledgeable about menu. my friend ordered the carne asada tacos. I enjoyed my dinner. I would not rate the red sauce as my favorite. But it was good. I will definitely go back. also they have about 4 big screen TVs playing. Plenty of parking in back. I can't wait for warmer days as they have a cute little patio in front.

Chips and dips were given upon being seated, drink orders taken, and were received fairly quickly. The chips themselves were delicious & so were the bean dips and salsa. For my entree, I ordered probably the most bland-sounding thing I have ever ordered. I ordered Dos Huevo's w/ Carne Asada. My plate was great! Carne asada cooked & flavored well & the eggs were also perfect. The rice it came with was decent, nothing crazy. I will say, oddly enough, on that warm day, I got a hot coffee to drink. The coffee was really good! I pretty much inhaled it, twice! Overall the place is nice, attentive, and good food!

We ordered a michelada and a Cadillac margarita--both were bad. The michelada tasted watered down, and the Cadillac was just plain nasty. My fiancé ordered the chile verde and asked me to try it. I literally had to spit it out into a napkin. The flavor was that bad. We came with three other friends, and all of us agreed we would never return. For a Mexican restaurant, especially a chain, you'd expect flavorful, well-made food--but that was not the case at all. Very disappointed with this location in Turlock. Zero out of 10.
