I was in the mood for fried catfish and decided to try Louis Cajun Seafood…read more I can honestly say, I wasn't expecting much. However, I was happily surprised. Louis' Cajun Seafood offers seafood boils, fried fish (Whiting, Catfish and Tilapia), fried chicken and sides. I ordered the Fried Fish Basket with 3 Pieces of Catfish and a side of fries. When I got my food, it was hot and fresh. The catfish was fried and had just the right amount of crunch. The fries were crispy and everything was well-seasoned. The flavor, the portions, the entire meal instantly made me a fan. The only problem I had was the sauce I had ordered on the side was placed on top of the food...making the sauce hot. I highly recommend Louis Cajun Seafood to anyone who loves perfectly cooked fish.

The yams and the green beens were the star of the show. Perfect. The greens were tasty as well. My Mac and cheese had a lot of cheese but surprising the flavor didn't hit for me. It was just cheesy. But it looked top tier. The fish was fried to perfection but it was extremely salty. Look I love flavor but this was a little extreme. The salmon bites were tad bit overcooked. They tasted good but were a little dry. Overall the experience was good. I waited like 30 minutes for my food but it was around lunch time and they were super busy. I would go back but try some other times. The cashier was super nice she gave me a free crack lemonade since I waited so long. It was very good. Being from down south (Memphis) we know good food and I will say this was close.

The lamb chops were my favorite but everything was 10/10 good! The chicken Alfredo was full of flavor, the Philly egg rolls were crispy and so delicious, the shrimp was a little too salty but the salmon bites were perfect. The Mac and cheese and yams are a must try!! We also tried the honey bbq wings and if you like them saucy, Chef nem has you covered! My only complaint was the wait time. We were told 45 minutes but they hadn't started our food until we came back 45 minutes later. I will say they made up for it and took great care of us! I highly recommend calling ahead versus placing orders in person to reduce the time waiting around.

THE FOOD The kitchen delivered an outstanding meal from start to finish: * Shrimp Cocktail: Served with large, ice-cold shrimp. It was quite tasty and refreshing. * Wedge Salad: A quality bite! It featured a creamy dressing, generous amounts of great bacon, and fresh tomatoes. * Seared Ahi Tuna Tartare: A nicely composed dish. The fresh ahi was cut into thick rectangular blocks, and stacked on an avocado purée. It was covered with a tasty sesame soy sauce drizzle that provided a balanced salty-sweet flavor profile, all complemented by a refreshing fennel, cucumber, and carrot salad. * 15-23 Day Aged Filet: Cooked perfectly. It was juicy with a delicious, rich beef flavor. * NY Strip: While I didn't order this tonight, GM Kevin proudly shared that he considers their NY Strip to be among the Top 5 in the United States - definitely something to keep in mind for the next visit! THE SERVICE The service all around was impeccable. Our server, Mimi, and the bartender, Curtis, were excellent, and the bussers, Nick and Collin, kept everything moving seamlessly. A special shoutout goes to the GM, Kevin. He is incredibly hands-on, highly energetic, and consistently walked the floor to ensure things were going perfectly at the tables. His focus on the food, service, and the customers elevates the dining experience. OVERALL A great steakhouse experience driven by a passionate management team, impeccable service staff, and a kitchen that treats high-quality ingredients very well.

We had the 7 oz filet ($39.95) and the Sea Bass (also $39.95). Both came with a single side. The portions were more than adequate and we had enough of both to take some home. The service was excellent but that may have been because the restaurant was only 1/3 full on a Wednesday evening. Drinks were reasonably priced. Overall I would give it a 4 out of 5 but the fact that there was no free birthday acknowledgement kept it from being a 5 out of 5.
