Annie was my server. She was such a sweetheart. One of the combos came with sausage, and the menu said no substitutions, but because I do not eat pork or beef, she allowed me to substitute for more corn and potato. I thought this was really considerate since restrictions were printed on the menu. I had combo 1. I got medium but it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be. I didn't need anything to drink. The shrimp were plump, crab was cooked well and the corn I had was fresh. It was a naturally sweet corn.

Love that Cincy is finally getting on board with seafood boils outside of Joe's Crab Shack. This place offers a large variety of seafood options from crab legs to crawfIsh. It's a little pricey, but not as for the portions and it is a seafood after all. I had crab legs and they were seasoned well (lemon pepper and garlic butter mix) but slightly overcooked. The hush puppies were good and the tartar and cocktail sauce were delicious. The server was really nice, but the actual service was a bit slow. They don't have a bar just beer and wine if you're interested.

This might be an unfair review because I actually didn't get the seafood boil, I got the fried fish combination basket that included catfish, shrimp, fries, hush puppies and coleslaw it was all greasy and too salty, I wouldn't order again.

1lb crab legs (medium spice; Cajun/lemon pepper/garlic butter); potatoes and corn.

Heard mixed reviews about this place, so I only ordered 1-lb of crab legs. The legs were a bit skimpy. Had the manager bring me another cluster which he did without any hassle. The crab legs and corn were over cooked. Mixed seasoning (lemon pepper, Cajun and garlic butter). I love spicy so I went with medium for spice level. Seasoning was ok. Next time I go, I will try just lemon pepper and garlic. The Cajun was a bit salty and not worth raising my blood pressure over. Service was great, can't remember her name. Will go back and try it again.

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile, I did today! It was amazing!!!! We got a number 3. It was delicious, got the mild spic but u could definitely taste the spice. My food came out quick. Our waiter was super nice and very attentive, I will definitely be back

I love a good seafood boil! This place is close to home and the food is always consistent. I will admit, if you want to eat there, expect a really long wait. Like an hour or more. But since Covid, they do all takeout and we actually prefer it. You can order and pay online. I only waited about 5 minutes once I arrived to pick up my food, and it was still hot when I got home. We always get combo #1 spicy and add an extra 1/2 lb of crab. Is perfect for the two of us.

First time for me. I drove here all the way from Dayton! The people who work here are doing it right! All protocols in place for c19. Aside from that, the food is amazing and our server was a delight! She was so nice and friendly !! We ordered. Hush puppies, Cajun fries, wings, and king crab legs!!! It was swerved in a bag with garlic butter corn on cob and potatoes. It was awesome. I will be back!!

The food here is very good unfortunately today i found flat worms in my crab. The flavour was great though

Our server, Chloe, introduced herself with a smile and provided us with a quick refresher. I knew from her energy that we were going to be in great hands for the evening. (and I was not wrong, lol) Chloe was personable, attentive, friendly, and down to earth. The service she provided us was excellent! I ordered the Swamp Thing for a cocktail. Sweet, fruity, and pretty... that green cocktail did exactly what it needed to do, lol. FIVE STARS! Now, on to the food... The Gator Bites are a MUST. I ordered the hot honey sauce on the side just to play it safe and I am glad I did, because babyyyy, that spice had no boundaries. If you're a lover of spicy things, you'll be good to order as is, lol! I also ordered the Roasted Oysters. Another MUST! The oysters had a parmesan crust with lemon garlic butter drizzled over them... They were gone in minutes! I was on the fence for my entree, but then my girl Chloe clocked that Pasta Mardi Gras and the rest is history. It was creamy, savory, and packed with flavor. I knew my girl wouldn't let me down! Our experience was excellent! I definitely recommend reservations. Pappadeaux wasn't terribly busy when we arrived, but by the time we finished up & headed out, they had a line out the door. If you're in the Cincy area, add to your foodie list! Overall, a great restaurant for a GNO, date night, or any celebration.

For appetizers, we had the roasted oysters and the hot honey gator bites. Everything was phenomenal. The special had a white wine sauce to die for and everything was wonderfully seasoned, I also had my salmon blackened which was chef's kiss. The gator bites were tender like chicken and the oysters were so flavorful! For the drink, I had the Swamp Thing cocktail and I was happily buzzed after finishing it. It was sweet, refreshing and the alcohol wasn't overpowering. Highly recommend Pappadeaux's if you're ever in the Cincinnati area!!! Customer Service: Chloe was our waitress and she was knowledgeable, sociable, funny and caring. She did a wonderful job in giving recommendations and telling us about the specials. She checked on us consistently and was never overbearing. The staff was timely with the appetizers, and the ebb and flow of the crowd seemed under control and all waiters/waitresses were ensuring orders were correct. Thank you Chloe for the top-tier service!! Ambiance: Pappadeaux's is typically upscale causal to business casual, but everyone is free to come as they are! It is family friendly for all ages. The decor gives an intimate open dining vibe. When it gets busy, it's BUSY. But the wait will be worth it! I guarantee there is something for everybody. This place is perfect for any occasion, celebration, graduation, birthday, date night, family dinner, a day trip - whatever your heart desires. The Cincy location is the best!

First thing first, we got there for an early dinner so the place wasn't packed, with plenty of parking space too outside. We were greeted and seated immediately in one of their booths. I enjoyed the little details they put on their sea-themed decorations, definitely made me smile. The menu was very clear and straight-forward. I wanted to order everything. I got the 1/2 pound of shrimp and crawfish in their buttery garlic sauce, while he got the 1/2 pound of shrimp and crawfish with sides of 1/2 pound of sausages with their Boom sauce (all of their seasonings mixed together: Original/Crafty Cajun, Lemon Pepper, and Buttery Garlic). Man, it was all so juicy and paired well with the sauce - my head wanted to explode from how good every bite was. I gotta say that his Boom seasoning was better-balanced compared to my buttery garlic though, they did the spices right on that Boom sauce. I also ordered the Pina Colada for drink, you can't go wrong with some Pina Colada. It was fantastic, I couldn't be happier with everything. We are lively bunch so one downside to the room is that it did not have a door, it only had a curtain, so at times we were concerned we were disturbing others. Because of our party size appetizers were served family style. The spinach and artichoke dip is out of this world! I also enjoyed the chicken and the bread that was served. We kept the drinks flowing and I think everybody enjoyed their libations. The entrees were top quality, I opted to try a New York strip. I would have loved a little more wiggle room for accompaniments to my steak, but with us having the private room and the package we chose we were not able to do so. All in all we had a great experience, but I think I would prefer to come back with a smaller group versus the private party dining in the future. This is our 15th Book Club Christmas dinner so we have experienced private dining at multiple restaurants around the city and the process here was one of my least favorite. I tend to prefer when we are not limited to a prix fixe menu and can have some more variety to accommodate different palettes and budgets ( I wouldn't have minded spending a little more for some add-ons). I also prefer private rooms with doors so that we can be ourselves and not worry about disturbing others while we are being jovial and having a good time. That said the service was phenomenal. The wait staff was attentive, especially for a party our size and we were all greeted warmly when we arrived. Valet was a little backed up as another party exited when we did. My car was right up front by the door so I just asked for my keys and got it myself, it felt a bit silly to pay for that when they seemed so understaffed. It felt like a money grab versus a necessity.

I found the garlic knots more delicious at Tony's. The bread was tender and they had enough garlic butter on them it was easy to see. This same side at Giovanni's was always a 'throwaway', but at Tony's it was a star. I had to order the special, but I forgot to ask for penne rather than spaghetti. I wish the server has asked. When the meal arrived at the table I was a little disappointed, but even with spaghetti it was delicious. I don't know how they turn a tomato/eggplant mixture into an amazing sauce, but they do.
