THE BIG: Asian fusion spot located in Cedar Park. It looks like a converted fast food restaurant but the flavors do hit here. Plenty of parking in the lot outside. THE BLACK AND WHITE: The wife and I came here with a few friends for a Sunday lunch session. Interesting concept here as you get to choose between Thai dishes and Hawaiian dishes. I was feeling Hawaiian and my wife was feeling the opposite and got Thai. We got the fried calimari, spam musubi, pad see ew, and garlic butter shrimp. The best was the garlic butter shrimp, the pieces were gigantic. The spam musubi didn't hit for me as it was a meh musubi. Maybe I'm spoiled from my Hawaiian adventures. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, I spent around $65 for the dishes. It was actually pretty good and I'd definitely come back here to try more dishes.

One of the few places in north austin that serves boat noodle. It's not the best I've had but it satisfies my craving when I have one. Service here is always great and happy hour offering is a plus.

Absolutely I would recommend this place! One of the best papaya salads! I did not care about their lunch menu and size of the meal, I would prefer regular menu. We tried curry, noodles... all that tasted great. I haven't ordered any Hawaiian items, only Thai, but everything was delicious. I think we have been here at least three times and I realized I did not leave review

Solid food that definitely hits the spot if you're craving Hawaiian. Everything tasted good and the portions were satisfying. A good spot to check out when you want something filling and flavorful.

Service: Gonna start off with this, which is the reason I didn't give 5 stars. We didn't know that they closed midday which should've been told to us as we were being seated. So eventually we found out because our server kept moving so hastily it felt like she was rushing us so I asked her if she was rushing us and she told us that the kitchen closes soon because they shut down midday. This could've all been explained. We also got asked for an over medium egg with no run, it came out runny. Instead of them cooking a new egg they clearly recooked the same egg I could not believe this and told us it was not recooked when it visibly was. Food: the food was cooked to perfection outside of that egg situation which we just didn't eat. Everything was so good! Order away I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I will continue to go back to this place and know I will good a good tasty meal! Ambiance: this establishment looks nice but is not fancy, a very casual feel and not too big or not too small.

Been meaning to come here since they opened and so glad I did. They're remodeled nicely and I ordered at the table quickly. Here's what I had. Chicken pad Thai- delicious pieces of chicken and noodles. 4 of 5 stars! Spam Masubi- huge pieces of delicious spam on rice. 5 of 5 stars! Coconut ice cream- if I could give this 10 starts I would! Service- very attentive, 5 stars. I'll be back for more of the menu.

Friend Shrimp and Catfish

Lunch time visit over the weekend - restaurant had folks seated at a few tables but plenty of tables available. Staff was friendly and polite. Ordered the Fried Fish and Shrimp which comes with a side of macaroni salad and French fries. The fries were great, the macaroni salad was good, not overly sweet, the fried shrimp were delicious, the fried catfish so-so. This may have been due to the particular fish that day, the manner by which it was filleted, or not being cooked quite enough. Bear in mind I have had wonderful fried catfish, so it is not the fish itself. Companion had the Pad Thai Shrimp and chicken. Spice level 5 out of 10 ( you are asked how hot you would like it ). The spiciness seems to be controlled by how much pepper spice they add to the dish, which can result in a little grittiness in the noodles. It was an ok dish, but not quite on par with other restaurants in the area such as Green Mango. A bit of a miss on value to price. All that being said, very nice folks working the restaurant and perhaps we did not select their best dishes.

Fried cheese wontons from Happy Hour menu

We stopped in just at the end of Happy Hour so got the cheese wontons and wine at the Happy Hour prices, which was a nice surprise. The cheese wontons were perfectly crispy, and the dipping sauce had a nice sweet chili flavor without being too heavy. My husband got the chicken fried rice at medium spice level. I had the red curry at medium spice level. The spice level was just right for his rice, but I would kick my red curry up a bit next time. I don't taste much heat, but it still had good flavor. I particularly enjoyed the large chunks and strips of zucchini, peppers and green beans with the chicken in the curry. They were plentiful and fresh. Portions are the perfect size. Our server was attentive and friendly.

I might be a little biased, but I'm really glad a place like this exists in Cedar Park. I regularly visit Honolulu, and every once in a while, I miss having a legit Hawaiian plate lunch. Cilantro Grill fulfills that craving really well. Their loco moco is spot on, and reminds me of my trips to Hawaii. My wife got their basil fried rice, and she thoroughly enjoyed the food. I hope this place sticks around.

Nice relaxing music-filled restaurant for a great dine in experience. You get Thai and Hawaiian food , all in one place . It's conveniently located with ample parking . Great service, helpful and very accommodating! Food was superb. The basil fried rice was the best, with good amounts of flavorful rice veggies and protein of our choice . Our server Mai was very helpful and she suggested to try out level 7 spice scale, since my mom wanted a bit spicy food . TBH it wasn't spicy-spicy but just enough spice to make it one of the best Thai yellow curry I ever had ! Menu is easy to choose from with pictures for every item. Loved this part ! Overall a great experience to come back for !

I really want the food quality to improve so thought I'd note a few things... Drunken noodles: I left feeling full--of disappointment. The dish was so bland, I had to ask for spices and seasoning/fish sauce to remake the dish there. This was not worth $17. The beef was tough. Fish: again, super bland and not flavorful. My fiance felt full but not satisfied. Drunken noodles: had a weird gamey smell to it. We didn't even eat it :( The Hawaiian shrimp plate was the best out of all we have tried. It was actually so garlicky and buttery! Definitely would recommend this dish but I'm not sure if I'd order anything else... The service, however, was excellent. The waitress was so so sweet and attentive. They were also very accommodating.

Food is okey and had a bad experience with the service. We ordered 2 Hawaiian and 2 Thai style food with edamame and mango sticky rice. Pulled pork was very watery. Mac and cheese was okey ish. The Thai food we ordered was very spicy when we chose 5 on 1-10. My curry did not have any salt in it so I told waiter about it. He took the bowl to chef and came back. He said since it's vegetarian we do not add any fish paste with salt to it hence no salt. Any ways I added salt to it but it was very spicy so I asked is there any way to reduce the spice. He shrugged shoulders and responded it is how it is and we can't do anything about it. We did enjoy the edamame and sticky rice but other than that there was nothing special about other food. We left almost half of main course. It was my second visit and definitely last one to this place.

Ramen512 is by far the best spot for traditional and authentic Japanese ramen in the north Austin…read morearea! Everything they serve is made from scratch including their noodles and broth but the pricing is incredibly reasonable. Their customer service is top-notch which is just the icing on the cake! FAST FACTS: * Parking - located in a shopping center with a large parking lot * Reservations - no but you put your name into a tablet when you arrive to join the queue if there's a wait * Online ordering - available for pickup on their website * Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays * Weekly specials available until sold out (check their Instagram or Facebook) SERVICE - We arrived at 6:35 pm on a Sunday and were 4th in line after joining the queue through the tablet. Our table was ready at 7:00 pm and one of the workers kept us updated about the status of our table several times while we waited. Once seated, there is a QR code on the table to scan and place your order. Our server brought water to the table right away and checked on us throughout the meal to make sure we had what we needed. All of our food was prepared and delivered to the table about 10 minutes after ordering. I was incredibly impressed by the customer service! PRICING - The total was $67.65 after tax ($5.15) but before tip for a chicken karaage ($8), signature shoyu ($17) with extra spinach ($1.50) and extra kikurage mushrooms ($1.50), classic tonkotsu ($17), and black tonkotsu ($17.50). I think the pricing is reasonable for the quality of ingreidents and portion size. CHICKEN KARAGAGE (8/10): The chicken is incredibly juicy and tender while the coating is crispy! The Japanese mayo on the side for dipping is delicious. It comes with several large pieces so it's a great option for an appetizer to share. SIGNATURE SHOYU (8/10): This is a Tokyo-style shoyu ramen with chicken and dashi broth that's savory, umami, and a little tangy. It comes with pork chashu (I subbed chicken for no extra cost), homemade noodles, spinach, bamboo shoot, scallion, nori, Japanese fish cake, and half a soy egg. I added extra spinach and kikurage mushrooms for $1.50 each. CLASSIC TONKOTSU (9/10): This has a rich and creamy pork broth with a savory umami flavor. It comes with pork chashu, homemade noodles, kikurage mushrooms, beni shoga, scallions, nori, and half a soy egg. This is definitely a must-order if it's your first time! BLACK TONKOTSU (8/10): This has a rich and creamy pork broth with black garlic oil. It comes with pork chashu, homemade noodles, kikurage mushrooms, beni shoga, scallions, nori, garlic chips, and half a soy egg. All the flavors pair well together but the garlic does overpower the pork flavor in the broth (but I think that's to be expected if you're ordering a black garlic tonkotsu). Honestly, there's nothing not to love about Ramen512... from the service to the ingredients to the pricing, it has everything you could want and more. Eventually, I'd love to try everything on the menu because there are so many great options! The interior has counter seating like what you would traditionally see at a ramen shop in Japan as well as tables so it's perfect for enjoying a meal by yourself or with your entire family. I would recommend Ramen512 to anyone in the north Austin area looking for authentic Japanese ramen at a reasonable price!

The pork was insanely good. The portion size was great as well, and there were just enough noodles. If you need more, the side order of noodles is enough to make almost a whole second bowl of ramen.

The highlight for this food place are their fresh, flavorful Pho with tender meats, excellent egg rolls, good Banh Mi, and attentive service. Some may find it slightly pricey but I feel the value is fair. I love the homemade broth and generous portions, making it a very good spot for authentic Vietnamese food. Meat portions are generous, especially the tender brisket and rare steak in Pho. Good portions, often enough for two meals, making it feel worth the price. Huge, well-filled egg rolls are a big hit. Decent, fresh, classic ingredients, especially Pho and sandwich. I easily noticed their quick, attentive, and polite staff. The restaurant exudes a bright, modern, and clean atmosphere. A point for consideration: when ordering, use the number/letter code instead of the food name to prevent any mistakes. My son who happens to be a vegan ordered a vegan Banh Mi (Banh Mi Chay) which has almost the same food name as a pork Bahn Mi (Banh Mi Cha Lau). They served a pork Bahn Mi, it took some time for my son to realize that he was eating a pork sandwich. It was partly a mistake from both sides, we did not blame the restaurant. The restaurant manager/owner was kind enough to give my son a complimentary fresh vegan Banh Mi upon everybody realizing the mistake. I was glad that my son never had a stomach upset that night. Despite the mishap, I am still giving this restaurant a high rating. One of the best Pho I have ever tasted.

We arrived around 7:40p Saturday evening and this spot is bumpin busy and very lively. The outdoor patio was even packed. We were so lucky as a walk-in party of 2, a table was being cleaned so we were able to be seated quickly. Our server brought us each a tablet to order our food. I ordered the cucumber salad and general tso chicken with fried rice. My man ordered 2 lbs of live mala style crawfish $18 per pound (min 2# per order) with 5 shrimp. He also ordered the sesame chicken dish. Our food came out within 10 minutes, super fast. The crawfish took a little bit longer because I believe they make it fresh. Here's where it gets interesting. My man said his mouth was tingling and his tongue felt funny and when he took a drink of his tea it tasted super weird. Come to find out, the crawfish mala sauce has Szechuan peppercorn which has a numbing tingling effect to your tongue and mouth. We did not know this before we ordered. So He thought he was having an allergic reaction to something. We asked our server and she explained a traditional mala seasoning. I highly recommend that this is listed on the menu item as a forewarning to those that have never had the Mala live crawfish here before. Sadly, there were a lot of crawfish wasted tonight because He wasn't able to eat them all That seasoning just did not agree with his mouth or taste buds at all. :( But....The general tso and sesame chicken dishes were tasty! Another call out, We both ordered ice tea at the beginning and it came out pretty quickly, But no one returned to our table during our time here to offer refills or to check in on us after everything was delivered. I understand the restaurant was busy when we arrived but it slowed down while we were there. We may return to this location if we are in the area to try other dishes but unfortunately, he is unable to eat the live crawfish due to that one seasoning. Everyone was super friendly and I recommend trying the restaurant if you haven't before it.

My go-to dish I order 90 percent of the time I go there is the Chadol Plate (A3). It is beef brisket. You normally need to go to a KBBQ spot and get covered in a layer of smoke. Skip smelling like a campfire and get A4 at Narrow Street. The beef brisket comes with rice served in a metal bowl. You get 3 or four small plastic containers of banchan the rotates seasonally. There is a variety of different kimchi, fish cake, corn slaw, potato salad and more. Once in a while I like to switch it up and I order the Cold Noodles (F1) or squid and pork stir fry (A4). The cold noodles are refreshing with crisp cucumber, white radish kimchi, and korean pear. The noodles are bouncy with a nice chew. Great in Summer and Winter. The Squid and pork stir fry comes with a bowl of rice and it is quite spicy. It is spicier than average but still less spicy than Thai chili. The chewy squid and pork are nicely complemented with the crunchy stir fried cabbage. Once you taste it you can't stop eating it. The price at Narrow Street very reasonable for what you get in my opinion. It is sit down restaurant quality food in a fast casual setting. You can dine solo or go in a big group as there is plenty of seating at the Hmart Food court. You place your order at the counter and they give you a buzzer to alert you to go pick up your trays of food.
