It's a chain, but one of the better ones I feel. It was the green chillies for me. But the server we had was outstanding. Very attentive and accommodating without charging for the little things. The chimichanga was smaller than expected, but the flavors were there. Enchiladas on point too. Again all of that was smothered in green chilies and the green chile rice was unique and yummy. I like Chuy's!

Incredible service- our sweet lady took great care of us- The manager was nice as well. We had a gift certificate for dinner for two- so we went to enjoy. She rolled out the red carpet. We ordered the queso, chicken tortilla soup, fajitas and a dessert. Everything was super salty. I know it's been a minute since they had the happy hour bar with the nachos and etc- man, that was legit. So sad to see that go. We had a great time because of our server, she was awesome.

The food here is great and so are the drinks. The service was quick and they were super friendly. The inside of the restaurant has super cool art work and sculptures and it was a super chill vibe. I would definitely come here again. This place is bussin!

I have been going to this Chuys for over 4 years. Over the last year or 2 they have steadily gotten worst. I am not sure if it is due to the buyout / acquisition or if the staff is indifferent since it is a busy location but the food isn't the same. They have smaller portions, the prices have gone up, the quality isn't as high, and multiple times I have received burnt (or expired?) items. The first time it happened I didn't think much of it since things happen. I would just eat around their mistakes. But now this happens more often than not. The last time I went the food was late, cold and they came out with the check for me to add an extra tip even though I already tipped via their website. I have given them multiple chances this year but I think I am done. If you love Chuy's go to another location. This isn't worth the inconvenience.

Wonderful service for my father in law's birthday! Everything was so fresh and delicious.

Great place to dine, always! This was a short notice trip with a party of 9. Not a lot of places can handle that well, and Chuy's proved why they are better! The service was fantastic! My 3 grandkids were aged 1-4. They had a grand time, and that made it great for my family AND the other patrons! Again, Chuy's is good at that! The décor is always cool in a Chuy's, and the food is really good TexMex. The price is reasonable for the service and food quality. Easy to find, easy to get in and out of, and the parking had lots of room!

I haven't been to Chuy's in a while so I asked my family if we can have dinner here. We got there an hour before closing. We ordered our usual chips and queso, fajitas, and salad. We got our food right away and everything was tasty. Chuy's has a family vibe and this is one of the reasons why I like them. Service was good although we were put off a little bit because we felt like our server was in a hurry for us to leave. She kept asking us if we were done with our meal and trying to take our plates away - maybe she had somewhere to go ‍

I liked this place! The portions were big and generous. I liked the ambiance as well. It was very casual/unique/ with sports bar and Mexican feel to it. The waitress was very attentive and always kept asking if we needed anything and was very helpful.

Great Tex mex spot with huge portions and reasonable prices. I ordered the Elvia combo, which was less than $15 pre tax, and it came with rice, beans, 3 types of enchiladas, a beef taco, and a toasts covered in queso. They offer complimentary chips and salsa and I love that they serve the thin tortilla chips. They also have complimentary creamy jalapeño ranch for your chips, you just have to ask for it.

Honestly, Taco Bell is better for a cheaper price and the same taste. It has a lovely Pepto pink interior that attempts to distract you from the steady stream of high pitch screams of distraught babies with their exhausted families. Queso: 2/5 The chips were slightly stale and the cheese was lukewarm. The flavor wasn't too bad though with mild spice Crispy Taco: 2.5/5 Again the exterior shell was slightly stale unfortunately. But the lettuce & tomatoes are fresh and crisp. The taco meat was extremely salty. Like a deer lick salty. Tacos Al Carbon: 3.5/5 The guacamole that came with the tacos was fresh and had a pleasant taste. The taste of the fajita beef was bland and was rather unsatisfying. Sides: 2/5 The rice was lackluster and the refried beans was overly salty and bland. The staff was lovely even though they were so stressed with it being busy.

Their service is always helpful and friendly. The food service whether dining in or picking up a to go order is fast. The food is great and my favorite sauces are the creamy jalapeno ranch and their boom boom sauces. I enjoy the restaurant and look forward to visiting and eating there again.

Chuy's has always been a favorite for me and I used to drive all the way to the first Dallas location off lemon to enjoy it but thankfully there are many more options around the metroplex making it easier to get the chuy's experience. The dining rooms have always been colorful and with strange art and decorations and thankfully have enough seating and locations where the waits generally aren't as big of a problem as they used to be on your average week night these days. I feel like you get a pretty similar experience no matter which location you choose so likely just pick the one closest to you or your friends. The food itself isn't the best Tex Mex you will find and this trip my enchiladas were a little underwhelming. I normally substitute sauce for queso which now has a $1.50 up charge as well, a first for me that seems a bit excessive and hopefully a trend that doesn't catch on. While the main dish was pretty average, the chips, which are free and you can pair with a delicious creamy jalapeño dip on request, and margaritas did a pretty good job of salvaging the meal. Both I consider above average and likely help save this this visit from a pretty disappointing score. We also had a fantastic waitress (I believe her name was Pam) who was patient with our delayed order, entertaining, and attentive. She also grabbed us a take home cup one of our friends left behind on our way our way out when she spotted us. This was truly a case of great service and the strengths of a meal really saving it from an otherwise middling experience. A 2.5 that could have rounded ether way got pushed up a point and rounded up as a result. Chuy's is a Texas institution that everyone local should really try at some point. Maybe just go with the fajitas or quesadillas over the enchiladas when you do as they don't seem as consistent as they used to be.

They brought a large basket of perfectly crispy, warm chips with salsa and took my order. I got the #15 lunch special which is your choice of two enchiladas (I got sour cream chicken), rice and beans. The food was served quickly and at the perfect temperature. My enchiladas were bursting with chicken and the sour cream sauce was the perfect compliment. The rice was excellent as well. Even the iced tea is great, and featured a legit lemon slice. They have a full bar which I'll be trying on my next visit and two large TVs set where you can see one or both from any seat in the dining room. I told my server she's going to get sick of seeing me because I'll be here at least twice a week! Service was excellent by the way. My tea was even refilled without having to ask. We got sat and the workers are very friendly, no problem there. Chips were good and came out crisp. I ordered the two taco plate. Taco shell was very stale, was very sad. The ground beef wasn't that good, chicken taco was better (surprisingly). Rice and beans were decent. Overall, didn't hate it here, but also not that great. I haven't been to Salsa Tex Mex in at least 5 years. My girlfriend happened to run into someone and…read morestrike up a conversation about food and this person let her know that Salsa had hired away the GM of a Gloria's and made improvements in their food, service, and "everything." What I can say is that Salsa now has salsa, chips and black bean dip just like Gloria's; yes, that iconic, tasteless black bean dip that could stand to have some salt, cumin, paprika, chili powder, black pepper, Mexican oregano and onion added - you know... adobo! Ambiance - basically a dirty school cafeteria. The floors have been stripped to concrete and the noise level is at a steady 80+ decibels. The chairs, tables and vinyl tablecloths ache for a good scrubbing. Speaking of noise - one of the margarita machines was as loud as a lawn mower. Why? Well when a random server saw me staring at the machine and asked me if everything was ok, I said, "you know, I think if the side panel were put back on, that margarita machine would be much quieter." He looks at me and says, "yes, but then it would overheat again because it is too close to the other margarita machine. It was quiet when we had it on the other side of the bar, but the manager wants them together." Then he laughs and walks off. Speaking of laughs, our server was a riot. We ordered a hamburger for our four year old. When ordered, I asked the server to bring mayonesa (mayonnaise) and not ketchup. She says, "ok, we don't have the mayonesa so you can have ketchup so that's ok." I asked if she had any other salsas like a salsa macha. She said they have a habanero and a molcajete salsa and brought them to us. The habanero was fruity and not at all spicy. The molcajete had actually gone bad. It tasted rancid and smelled. I told the server and she said, " oh no. Ok." Then she walked off and didn't take the bowl and no doubt didn't tell anyone. I ordered the Churrasco and my girlfriend the Rene. When our food arrived, the kids hamburger was placed on the table with a warning about the plate being very hot. Who puts a kid meal on a plate that is hot?!?! Also who puts a ramekin of chimichuri sauce on top of the steak? FWIW, the chimichuri was not even close to being chimichuri. On the upside I stopped a bus boy and asked for mayo and amazingly, he brought some. The server came back and said, "oh, you got mayonnaise!" Then I asked (in Spanish) why she told me she didn't have mayo. She babbled incomprehensibly in a mix of English and Spanish that was a mix of lies and half truths. Who lies about mayo for a kid? Our meals were unremarkable and tasted like Sysco foods TV dinners. The only thing that I can tell has been improved is the prices - in Salsa's favor. Salsa Tex Mex - do better. Hire staff that actually cares about your restaurant and customers. Train your wait staff. Improve your recipes, source higher quality ingredients, and simplify your menu. Fix your equipment and ambiance. 2 stars because at least the water glasses were clean, the margaritas were strong, we didn't have to wait long to check out.
