The service here is great and is probably be the best thing about this restaurant. Servers were very attentive and I think even the manager came over and checked on us. The drinks (margaritas) aren't bad either although we went for the cinco de mayo promo and it was unclear what was actually the size of the drink that was promoted on their social medias. The food is subpar and not that good so I probably wouldn't come back for the food and that's what's bringing the rating of this down. They do give you complementary chips and salsa but the salsa is very spicy so if you don't like that then to are stuck with the homemade sauce

3.5 overall, accommodating a large party on couple hours notice. Give benefit of doubt on service given 25+ people. Relatively small menu, above average prices; "large" line margarita (1.5/5 stars) was a 12oz plastic glass for $12. "Taco salad" was a basic green salad w chicken (1.5/5 stars, $14) -- not conventional shell bowl with spices and flavor. Steak burrito itself was big but rice and beans were cold and cheese wasn't melted (2.5/5 stars, $16). Plenty of parking. Decor was Americana auto. Gender specific restrooms hidden in back corner.

The restaurant is very well decorated, I loved the vibe overall. Our waitress was nice, and came to check up on us several times. Food took a little bit of time to come out, but then again it was Mother's Day. The complimentary chips/salsa/queso held us over as we waited for our food. The Chuychanga was very tasty, my new favorite item on the menu. The Tex-Mex Chicken Burrito Bowl was decent, and the Chicken Fajitas were also pretty standard as well. I did appreciate that the portions were large. Would visit again!

What a great place for Sunday lunch with a friend! Hadn't been here in years, but met a friend for lunch. Service was excellent & our waiter kept checking in with us as we were busy devouring chips and salsa rather than looking at the menu. Ordered the raspberry margarita and wow, what a delicious treat. Raspberry may be my new favorite margarita flavor. The chicken chimichanga was so filling (along with the chips and queso), so I took more than 1/2 of it home. It was just as tasty when I reheated it the next day. Love the decor, it's very festive and fun.

I returned and had another great meal, the Comida Deluxe. Cheese enchiladas (they added diced onion inside by request, thanks), chicken flautas, steak taco with fixings. Neat thing is I got all this for a few bucks more than a Big Mac meal. Managers Geoff and Lacy were all over the place talking care of diners. Keep up the good work. I'll be back again.

The vent in the ceiling.

This is the location 11219 Lee Hwy Fairfax, VA 22030 United States Been here several times. Food and service have gone downhill. Also not a clean place. They apparently don't look up. Here's a picture of just one of the air vents in the ceiling right above a table where people sit under eating. If it's this disgusting in the dinning room, imagine how disgusting it is where they cook.

Chuy's used to be my SPOT back in them good ole college days! It's so great to know that they are still the bomb.com! The service was excellent and the food was oh so divine! Absolutely no complaints. Chips was fresh, salsa had a kick, green dipping sauce was a drug, and my enchiladas was mouth watering good. Definitely will include this back into my rotation when I have the craving.

Steak burrito

Love the ambiance of Chuy's restaurants, very welcoming and brightly colored inside! I've always had great service at every location I've visited. They're on top of making sure your chip basket is always filled and your table has that amazing creamy jalapeño sauce, not to mention the fresh salsa that I love! The steak burrito is my go to order along with the queso. This time around I tried the special MACHO pork burrito and it was fantastic. I hope this item makes it way onto the permanent menu.

Jackson is really good at his job!he is always on top of his game and don't get me started with the food and drinks

There are some parking spots right in front, although not many. There is a decent amount of seating, but it would be tight if you had a large party. My partner did note that the bathrooms weren't that great. You immediately get served complementary chips and salsa. They were pretty basic, but not bad. We ordered the following: + Papusas (Pork and Cheese & Loroco and Cheese) - Decent, although I prefer the Loroco (an edible flower bud). + Pollo à la Primavera (chicken dish) - Yummy, especially the sauce which mixes well with their hot/spicy sauce too! I could do without the salad dressing. + Camarones con Calabeza (shrimp dish) - Same as above! Note they leave the tails on. + Natural Juices (Mango and Maranon) - So refreshing! I loved the Maranon (cashew apple) was a wonderful burst of tropical sweetness with a subtle nutty taste. I appreciate that for the pupusas they had the foresight to provide my partner and I two plates so we could sphere the papusas. The portion sizes of the entrees were great for the price. It did take a while for the staff to swing by so that we could get boxes and the check. Note that credit cards and mobile pay are accepted. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back again to try more items on their menu.

We love Mexican food like many do, but Guapos just always hits the spot. They have lots of delicious dishes but we both always get the Steak Fajitas. You get 10oz of marinated skirt steak and that marinade is fire. The steak comes on a sizzling platter with a side of Mexican butter. Butter y'all! You 100% want to pour that butter all over the steak and the sautéed green peppers and onions. This was a new thing for me, but the flavor is incredible. This steak just melts in your mouth. I'm salivating thinking about it. This entree is way too big of a serving to eat at once, but I typically do and am way too full. It's that good! The Fajitas are served with Mexican rice, a la charra beans, guacamole, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream and homemade tortillas on the side. The charra beans are also a unique touch. They are hearty and flavorful. Must also brag on their homemade tortillas. To me, the flour is where it's at. They are so soft. You can actually watch them making them fresh from your table. When you put all the fajitas components together and take a bite, it's really delish. Chips and salsa is also stellar, as is their fresh guacamole and queso. If you are going to get a margarita just go ahead and get the large size. They are yummy and it's a better deal than ordering two. Their restaurants are large so lots of tables to accommodate small and large parties alike. It's a casual joint so great for families, celebrations, date night. Service is always quick and attentive, even when they are very busy. If you want a great Mexican meal, come to Guapos. Get those steak fajitas. No notes.

We had no reservation, but had no wait and we were seated immediately. The restaurant has two sections, the main dining area, which is busy and full of families, and the bar area with high-top tables that feels a little quieter. We chose the bar side and it was perfect for a more relaxed, date-vibe. They also have a ton of holiday decor up and all the Christmas decorations made the whole place feel warm and festive too! Our waiter, Francisco, was amazinggggg! He checked on us at the right times without being overbearing, gave helpful suggestions, kept our drinks filled, and was genuinely friendly throughout our time at Guapo's! Service like that really makes a difference and definitely makes us want to return. We both ordered the steak and chicken fajitas and they were so good. The meat was tender and flavorful, the vegetables were cooked perfectly, and the portion sizes were huge. We both ended up taking leftovers home and had an even better lunch the next day. I have to mention the tortillas because they were honestly incredible. They were thick, warm, buttery, and pillowy in a way you don't usually get! I could honestly eat them by themselves. I also ordered a virgin passion fruit mojito and it was refreshing and just sweet enough without being too much. For two entrées, drinks, and queso, our total was $76, which is very reasonable for the area considering how much food we got and how good everything was. Overall, we left really happy and definitely plan to come back. Great service, great food, and a surprisingly cozy atmosphere for a casual night out.

OMG! We are glad we did! The food was amazing and the manager/cashier/server was completely customer service focused. We got birria tacos, a chicken taco, a Shrimp Burrito, and chips and queso. The food definitely deserves 5 out of 5 stars, especially the birria tacos. The meat was flavorful and the accompanying broth was amazing. In fact, we ordered a couple of more birria tacos to bring home for later. We also ordered a shrimp burrito which has rice, black or pinto beans, pico de gallo, cilantro, lettuce, cheese, cilantro aioli sauce and red cabbage. The shrimp is fried, not grilled, but the breading is not overwhelming and pairs nicely with the red cabbage and sauces. As other people have mentioned, the burritos are huge and the ingredients are fresh and plentiful. We enjoyed the chips and queso with the chips being fresh and flavorful. The red habanero sauce had a nice kick to it and the green tomatillo sauce was refreshing. Overall Two Burritos gets a big thumbs up for its food, the quick food preparation and service, relatively reasonable prices, closeness to George Mason University, Fairfax City, and University Mall. The ambience is lively without feeling cramped, which makes it an easy place to settle in after work. Happy Hour: Their happy hour is definitely the main draw. The large margaritas are priced extremely well, and when the mix is right, they're excellent. The only downside is consistency -- sometimes the drinks have a good balance of alcohol, and other times they taste more like lemonade and feel watered down. The appetizer prices are also great. We ordered the fried wings and Mexican rice; both were okay and edible, but not particularly memorable compared to other spots. Service: Service was generally good, but with only one bartender covering the entire bar, there were stretches where he disappeared or was tied up. Nothing terrible, just not the level of attentiveness you get at places with more staff behind the bar. Overall: Despite the inconsistencies, we'd come back. The happy hour prices are hard to beat, and when the drinks hit right, it's worth the visit.
