I love Chuy's! Everyone at my job is excited about it being so closse and they have great parking now! I stopped on the second day after their new opening on Greenville Ave. Ordered my chicken quesadillas and extra guac and baby i had to get a larger container of the Crack sauce ( creamy jalepino) that's what we call it at work! LOL. I can never get enough, and have to put it on everything! Ya'll it is Soooo goood!! The new place is nice and spacious, really great atmosphere. And there's PARKING!! LOL. Everybody come on over and check it out! Only thing I hate........I pass it every day on my way home from work....Too much temptation! Lord help a girl out!!!! DELISH read more

Always good! This is by far my favorite chain Tex-Mex restaurant in Texas! Chuy's never disappoints and is always worth a cheat meal! I haven't had a bad experience with any of the employees at any of the Chuy's I have eaten at. And love the decor! read more

The service was pretty slow and the food was meh. I got a steak fajita and while the meat was nicely seasoned and prepared, it wasn't very special. Not worth coming back to. I had some street tacos for lunch at the farmer's market and that was way better. read more

Never mind COVID19, you just did what? YUCK! We visited Chuy's during happy hour last week as we often do. The service was absolutely horrible! We sat at the bar in a space previous patrons were in and the bartender passed by us 3 times before cleaning off the area. He didn't say one word! I asked if we could place an order, and he still said nothing. We proceeded to order our drinks. We had to waive him down and ask for chips and salsa. This guy still hasn't said one word. We ordered boom sauce with beef and it came out promptly. He passed by us and delivered the order to other patrons who advised they didn't place the order. Then he brought the order back to us. NOPE, he still didn't say anything to us. Go Figure! Like is this a Mute Bartender or something? We waived him down again to get drink refills and place our food orders (fajita beef tacos and enchiladas.....mmmm so yummy). While waiting for our order, a Waiter came to the bar to get martinis for his patrons and he did the ultimate. This guy STUCK HIS BARE HANDS IN THE JAR OF OLIVES, TOOK SOME OUT AND DROPPED THEM IN THE DRINKS! Nasty!!!!!!! Just never mind COVID19, huh? I said yuuuuuck, how gross! He turned and said, we wash our hands all the time so my hands are clean. I responded, I never said you didn't wash your hands, I said it's freaking gross for you to stick your hands in that jar of olives without gloves and you're touching on glasses, counters, trays, aprons, etc. it's just gross!!! The food came out and my order was missing. I told them to just cancel it. What do you know, Mr Mute started talking. I guess he was happy it was closing time or maybe he was happy about the Tequila shots he and his coworkers started drinking while on the clock. At least it wasn't just us, patrons around us were treated similar. If Eli is at the bar, don't expect good service! He was terrible. read more

So first it took over 10 minutes just to get chips and over 20 minutes for someone to take our order so service sucked. It felt like we were the inconvenience here. The drinks were meh and the apps were too. My wife's burrito looked more like enchiladas than a burrito. My kids Mac and cheese didn't have any cheese. My beef fajita tacos were on cold tortillas and the meat was cold as well. My little girl got a burger and she said the school burger is way better than here. Nothing about this location stood out nothing amazing . It was all meh I would never come here again. I guess you have to be drunk off your butt to like it here. Chuys in Austin is way better. read more

Rarely do I give two stars. I was really disappointed by the experience. The server was fine for the most part. Not perfect but no one is. The food just didn't work for me. And I'll tell you I love Mexican influenced food. I had the steak burrito. It should have been so great. I didn't adjust any thing about the dish. The salsa is too spicy when the server says none are very spicy. There was much too little in the burrito for it to be a burrito. This was a rolled quasidilla at best. Fat man says too many good options to go back for a while. Sorry Chuy's. read more

Parking tip- there's a free underground garage with entrance by the strip mall closer to 75! Chuys is always a Texas favorite. It's not my go to for Tex mex because I always find it a bit too salty. I appreciate that the flavors are always consistent. I got the Tacos al carbon with steak and found the meat to be too tough to chew, but my bf didn't think so. It was my first time getting it, and I don't think I'll be ordering it again, but my bf said he would! This location is great for accommodating large groups. Plenty of staff for how popular it gets, especially on weekends. I'll come back to this location! I enjoyed it. read more

Haven't always been a huge fan of chuys however I will give them credit for the space out seating plan they have, and the great service we recieved at this particular location. If nostalgia was an appetite, I'd be fulfilled with the level of costumer and wait service provided last evening for my family. Mr. Charles went above and beyond to make our experience very special after learning we are california natives who once live in Texas. During our residence in Texas we would often eat at Chuy's just to get some of their creamy jelepeño. Well Charles made sure we relived all those beautiful moments we once shared once again. Thank you Charles for your excellent service, you were totally dope. All the best with your career and photography endeavors. PS a special thanks the management team, Eden for the taking the time out to listen to what I had to say about Charles. I used to really love Chuys. I even worked in a couple of locations during college and loved both the atmosphere and the food. Sadly, I don't think I'll be going out of my way to dine here anymore. The menu has been reduced by like 60% and the food they have remaining is just ok. Goodbye chile rellenos. So long stuffed avocados. Not a sopapilla in sight. Ordered the burrito today and it was under seasoned and wasn't even wrapped properly, BUT they still have the best margaritas around. read more

This place is amazing. Totally cool vibe. Our waitress Kre, was AWESOME. Our volleyball team (group of 14) was recommended to go here. We all wanted some texmex food and Chuys did not disappoint. Steak burrito with boom boom sauce was amazing. The wife had Chicka chicka boom boom (chicken enchiladas with boom boom sauce) was winnah winnah chicken dinner. I've lived in Dallas for 11 years. I've been here probably 10 times a year; I've never had a worse experience any place in Dallas than I experienced tonight at Chuy's. The bartender (Nando) made homophobic slurs towards my friends; they had their backs to him, but I did not. I saw and heard exactly what he said. Did I show my ass after that? Absolutely. There's a lot of things I'll tolerate, but that sort of behavior - from anyone is beyond vile. I've spent my last dollar at Chuy's & will make sure the few people I can reach are aware of the behavior tolerated here. read more

I've been here a couple of times now for pickup, and it's a great spot to get some quality Tex Mex on a budget! The flautas, tacos al carbon and enchiladas were all tasty and fresh, and the big bag of chips and spicy ranch with every order is good value! read more

Great food, Great experience, Great service. The Boom Boom sauce was excellent. 10/10 recommend. Absolutely loved it!!!!!

I ordered fajitas to-go. Usually the steak is good, but this was inedible. Somehow it was grainy and way overcooked. The most disappointing was the tortillas and all the fajitas toppings were left out. So I just ate some sautéed onions and rice and beans. Chips and queso was good as always. Just really disappointed I spent so much on delivery, then it was a bad experience. read more

What a cute place. I was absolutely sold when I walked in and saw a wall of dog pictures, so cute. For the appetizer, we had guac which was way different than the guac I am used to - it had a ton of shredded iceberg lettuce in it. We both ordered tacos as our meal and they were very good - the homemade tortillas were amazing. Tres leches cake for dessert was HUGE and well worth the price. And last but not least, the frozen margaritas were delicious. When I come back to Dallas, I will be back at Chuys! read more

I love a scratch kitchen and Chuy's always satisfies! The Manager went the extra mile when (to no fault of Chuy's!) the delivery driver canceled my order and took my food. They recooked the food and the manager, personally, delivered it to my house - 6 miles from the restaurant. He didn't hesitate to suggest this as the solution. Above and beyond. I always love eating in the restaurant, but when I get it to go or delivered, it is always hot and hits the spot. Please keep up the good work - faith in humanity restored. I always love Chuys because I'm from Austin. Happy hour nacho bar is great and includes queso and taco meat as well as the regular salsa options. This location is really big and I think they tend to be understaffed because they are not the fastest. Fun fact for all chuys, if you bring a framed photo of your dog they will give you a free appetizer! Very small patio area but the first room has windows that open all the way so it can feel like your outdoors if they have them open. read more

Margs were great, all of the food was great, but creamy jalapeño ranch is INSANELY AMAZING.

Our visit started off extremely rocky. It was National Margarita Day and I knew it was going to be a busy day but my partner really wanted to visit Chuy's after my other restaurant was packed out with more than a one hour wait. We waited patiently for 45 minutes to be seated. The hostess took our name and phone number which would then later send me a text to let me know when it was time. When we were called, we were brought to our table which had been occupied by another couple. Apparently, another hostess told them it was open seating. Michael, took us somewhere else to sit and a booth. Another waitress, approached us and asked, "Were you seated here and did you check in with the front?" I advised her that we did check in but she became so defensive which I did not like. Instead of assuming, she should have checked in with the front to see what was going on. Fast forward to the food -- Our appetizers were brought out quickly. The waitress was a little slow to take our order. I ordered the Raspberry/Blackberry Margarita with a souvenir cup and my partner ordered a typical Margarita also. We had the chips and traditional queso with creamy jalapeño sauce. Food was good. I ordered the Pancho tacos but it lacked having flavor. I may not ever order that again. It seemed pretty much flavorless to me The shrimp tacos were good and cooked to perfection and had no complaints. Maybe because they were busy, that is what caused our originally hiccup. I'll update my review if I return back to this location. read more

Chuys is just my go to personally. I always get something different and love a good chuytini. Service is usually pretty good. If you go when it's busy it will obviously be slower. So many things to look at and talk about in the walls while you wait and throw down some chips. read more

Service was great. Much better than the Arlington location. I normally order the southwest with three eggs on top but the last couple of visits to another location the dish was dry and difficult to eat. I tried the fried avocado. This thing is the bomb. I loved the flavors and The avocado was cooked perfectly and the panko coating added a nice crunch. On top of that's there was lots of chili sauce on the plate so it wasn't dry. My new favorite dish. read more

Manager is really not nice. I saw him yelling at the hostess because he only assigned one waitperson to the patio. Didn't treat his customers much better either. Very very standoffish about how he was short staffed. If I wait an hour for a seat that was supposed to take 10 minutes I want to hear "I'm sorry". Not some excuse about short staffing. I won't be coming back. read more
