I mean where do I really even begin?? No really, where do I? Coming into the restaurant it isn't clear if you seat yourself or go to the counter, you have to figure it out yourself. There are 2 menus, 1 highlighting more brunch style items and the other more lunch and dinner options. My order: 2 chalupa combo (rice & refried beans and drink). You choose your own meat(s), I chose brisket. I rate it 2/5... first issue I got toastadas not chalupas, the flavors were very plain. The jalapeños did the heavy lifting. The brisket was strangely sweet, I didn't enjoy it. Also it was cut wrong(with the grain), every bite drug out the entire piece of meat. Hubby got the 2 taco combo (same as above) he also chose brisket (it was sweet). 1/5, sweet brisket is not his cup of tea. The tacos came with lettuce, tomato and avocado on the side. Where is the cilantro and onion!? To complete our order we tried the churros which were super hot fresh and sweet but the caramel sauce made them one note and easy to get tired of. We also tried the red and greens sauces, neither had much flavor or heat. The meal itself underwhelming. While the ambiance was that of a sports bar or bar and grill it wasn't overly loud. The music was low but loud enough to enjoy. The TVs played several different sports networks. The service was typical, with a nice cashier who answered my questions super nicely. Our food did come out in a timely manner but I would've waited any extra amount of time if that meant the food tasted better. I want to say something more positive but the whole meal lacked love.

I always stop by after going to the dentist. I usually get the spicy fried chicken taco but I feel like they changed the recipe. So this time I got the grilled fish and the shrimp mango habanero tacos. The fish taco was good with the jalapeno ranch. I had to cut the fish in half though. It was just too much. The shrimp tacos were very spicy! And I added the habanero salsa . I also got the disaster queso which never lets me down.

When I visit my family in Dallas we always have a taco night. Because...Texas! This is a good spot for that. They have tasty $7 margs and a delicious selection of tacos. This night I ordered the pork taco and the street taco with chicken. They were both delicious. They are amply stuffed with really good meat and one can find a variety of hot sauces and crema for toppings. The salsa is delicious and the chip basket is self-filled as many times as one would like. Taco Joint is a solid place for Tex-Mex!

I've been here like a hundred times. The food is consistent. Delicious and reasonably priced. Nachos and tacos are all good. Points on their jalapeño ranch dressing. It's always full of people.

Great little spot for fast casual Mexican food. No frills, divey feeling. Their breakfast tacos (not pictured) are great - and they have like 3 different types of salsa. Get the jalapeño ranch!!! For dinner, I like their soup combo. Comes with your choice of taco.

The breakfast burrito with sausage was disgusting. It didn't come with salsa and the insides just crumbled and fell out.

That's not where the differences stop as the Archive menu provides more traditional cocktails and a diverse array to choose from, with drinks you may be more familiar with. Alchemy on the other hand offers a more experimental approach to their drink menu, including creative cocktails that seem eclectic and never been tried before, using unusual ingredients or prepared in a unique way, but if you are feeling adventurous, I'd highly recommend trying the latter. Keep in mind, when entering Alchemy, the inside is very dark so if you want to see properly I would recommend sitting outside if it isn't too hot. To start, my friends and I ordered the truffle fries for the table and they were highly ranked in my opinion for best truffle fries in Dallas. They were perfectly crispy and flavored well with the truffle seasoning. For drinks, from the alchemy menu, we ordered the I Dream of Kiwi (my choice), Kaleidoscope Eyes, and Inappropriate Beet Pun. My drink was made up of bamboo tea gin, kiwi coconut water, plum wine, and kiwi boba. I liked the sweetness mixed with tartness and the boba balls added a nice touch. Additionally we ordered the pineapple soft serve margaritas (it was my first time experiencing soft serve margs) and I really enjoyed Apothecary's version. The pineapple flavor was tangy alongside the creaminess of the ice cream. And there was a nice chili salt garnish (similar to tajin) added on top. For food, I ordered the Lil' Thuggies, a hilarious name for a dish that is actually very delicious. It consisted of popcorn chicken nuggets, cooked in sweet tea brine and spiced flour, served with a side of epazote ranch and korean wing sauce respectively. My friends ordered the Japanese elotes and Muhammara (roasted red pepper & walnut spread, greek oil, sea salt, microgreens, grilled baguette). Both very tasty as well, with the elotes having a cream sauce on top. Overall I can't wait to go back to apothecary and maybe try the other side next time.

The food looks impressive, but honestly lacks flavor and depth. It tastes like bar food, which is fine, but not when you expect an elevated gastronomy. Keep food expectations low and you'll be happy!

They added candles to the birthday cake that we brought in, which was very nice of them! Apps: Cheese Beignets and Zucchini Chips - both were tasty! The beignets were small and not too heavy. I enjoyed the herby sauce on the chips, but wished it was served on the side! Mains: English Pea & Potato Pierogi, Mac and Cheese, and Vegetable Pasta - they were very nice to make a vegetarian pasta dish for us, and it was delicious! The tomato sauce was flavorful. The Mac and Cheese was also perfectly cheesy and I enjoyed the garlic breadcrumbs. My favorite was the Pierogi -- savory potato's, sweet brown butter sauce, and fresh greens to balance it all out! Highly recommend!

We were seated and taken care of by our server, who was so sweet and very patient. We ordered drinks. I had to get tea because I was chilly. Outdoor seating at night isn't the greatest because it was very dark, so we stayed inside. The food was exceptional. The herbs they use are picked from their local garden, and the food is incredibly fresh. I ordered the marinated lamb kebabs and Hummus. By the way, their hot tea is fantastic. I highly recommend it but the food was also delicious. The only thing is that the Hummus was very salty but still delicious. The dessert is the best part of the meal. They do change their menu frequently. We hot a chocolate cremeux mousse with chocolate cake - it was soooo good! 10 out of 10! Everything was fantastic and I'll be back!

We came for Sunday lunch and didn't know there there was only a brunch menu available. Thankfully all the food was pretty good! The lamb shakshuka was flavorful and kofta was moist. Eggs Benedict, hummus, bread with butter and jam, and pancakes were all solid as well! Presentation was beautiful. My only disappointment was with the pita bread - I found the bread flat and and a little dry. Service was efficient and nice. It did feel more like a business meeting or brunch type of place - not so much a family place. Thankfully it was pretty empty when we went so our baby didn't have anyone to disturb. Would definitely recommend coming to try!
