Preordered food and person packing made sure order was done correctly. She even packed the way we requested in notes. I didn't get her name, but she had a cute cap " I've tried everything but therapy". She was very thorough and friendly! Awesome job!! Thank you

Chun Wah Kam Ala Moana offers cheap eats but delicious. I love the consistent quality and the generous servings. The service always good. The chow fun is delicious at this location. I had the mushroom fried rice for the first time and now I'm obsessed, kau yuk with thevattiest pieces that melts in your mouth goodness. The beef broccoli was tough and hard to chew. I had soooo much leftovers which I'm happy for $14.66 tax included! Great deal, affordable and so delicious!

I recommend the chicken curry and pizza buns

If you know, you know--and if you don't, let me introduce you to the magic that is Chun Wah Kam. I stopped in to try their chicken curry bun. The manapua was fresh and packed with just the right amount of savory spice. The filling is flavorful without being overpowering, and the bun itself? Fluffy perfection. I also tried the pizza bun, which was good but the chicken curry bun stole the show. I'll definitely coming back for more! The service was good. They didn't go above and beyond with any recommendations or anything. You have to know what to order. This is a TO GO type of place but they have tables where you can eat there too. Whether you're a manapua veteran or just dipping your toes into the world of baked buns, Chun Wah Kam delivers. Just get there early--these favorites tend to fly off the shelves especially the custard buns! We didn't get to try those.

This is like a Hawaiian panda except they give a ton of food. There were so many options! We got a two combo with guava pork and roast pork. The roast pork was yummy and the guava pork was ok. I liked the ginger chicken fried rice but hubby didn't like it at all. He didn't like the pork because it was not bite size. I enjoyed it very much much but the pork hash was average. The half moon wasn't exactly what I thought we were getting. See my photos

Good food and service. Servings are huge. The paper to go containers can get soft from the food so use care when eating from the container. Very popular location for your Chinese cuisine. Very busy during lunch hour. There's only one entrance from Pensacola, a one way street. Maps might take you on Waimanu. Just go around the block. Parking is limited and tight.

Food was delicious. Great service. I got the lunch plate and hubby got dim sum. My plate lunch was a pretty big portion which was great. I saved half of it for dinner. The garlic fish was flavorful and egg plate with tofu was delicious. My go to place for manapua.

Favorite manapua in the area. The char siu flavor is very strong and both baked and steamed buns are good. Note you need to order steamed buns ahead of time. Their roast pork is also quite good - crispy and juicy, even if it has been sitting in the window for a bit. Have not tried the other lunch box options. The restaurant is pretty barren but does offer a seating area to eat onsite.

We went a little after lunch time and the Manapua choices were few and far between. However I was able to try both the steamed and baked Char Siu and both were delicious. Steamed was pillow stuffed although I did feel that the filling was a small portion. Baked was light and had more filling. We also ordered a plate lunch and wow they pack it with soooo much food! Definitely could share it with 2 people. They had lots of entree choices too. They had lots of seating but unfortunately most tables were empty but not clean.

Easy place to pick out your lunch. Manapua were very good and pork hash good as well. The half moon caught me by surprise as filled with Char Siu like the manapua. The beef chow fun could have used more beef and some veggies.

Did they happen to bring back their kalua manapua?

They did not. It is seasonal, so please inquire within for the next time it'll be in-stock.

Do they make mini manapuas? These would be perfect for parties, and older folks and kids.

Not that I've seen. Honolulu Kitchen in waipahu does! Or at least I know they used to. I believe that the former chef from Chun wah opened Honolulu Kitchen so the quality is similar. Try calling

What time are they a fully stocked with food? Went before 9am, but hardly anything except manapua was ready.

Best guess is between 0930-1000 as everything is made fresh daily

    Do they have dine-in?

    Yes they do

Should i order small pans or deep pans for a party of 26 people?

Aloha! If you are providing the whole meal (versus potluck style), definitely go Deep, and maybe consider a Medium for the starch, as it takes up the majority of the plate.… Read more

So the thing about coming to Fun Station is the "suspended flying noodle thingy" which I didn't go for, but if you like Instagramable stuffs, then I supposed you would probably go for that flying-noodle dish. As for me, I mainly came to try their Minute Chicken Cake Noodles, and as a bonus......... I actually got a 20% discount thanks to my friend - Jennifer C. who let a Bruddah know about da DEALAGES in da Sunday food section newspaper, as they had a coupon! The Sunday morning when I came with my friend, I can clearly see that this restaurant was thriving, as every table in the restaurant was taken. Fun Station specializes in noodles, but if you're not into that, they do serve other items like - soups, vegetable dishes, rice plates, & porridge (jook). Upon looking over the menu, we ordered the following items - 1. Frrrrrrried Chicken Wings ($9.95) for an appetizer 2. Minute Chicken Cake Noodles ($17.95 - minus da 20% coupon DEALAGES) 3. Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton in soup ($18.95) What can I say about da grub??? Da chicken wings came out hot & crispy. Although they featured only "flats" vs. drums (I like drums), I must say da wings was nicely executed. As for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles.........nicely plated on a fancy smanshy panda plate. The cake noodles weren't drowning in gravy, so the noodles stayed crispy on the dish. I really liked how they did this dish, and would easily come back here to eat it again. My friend had the Beef Brisket Tendon & Won Ton soup. The dish looked good, and there weren't any complaints, so I take it that it was pretty ono! Overall, a very satisfying meal and the service here was on point, as the staff was friendly & very efficient. Easy 5 stars for the Minute Chicken Cake Noodles! Chance 'em!

That was the first thing we ordered and the waiter asked if we've had it before so they could make sure that they presented it as the picture show it. Food was promptly delivered, and staff was very friendly. It's also BYOB and there's a Foodland in the parking lot so that was a plus as we went to the store to get some alcohol. Restaurant is very casual with about 10 to 12 tables. They were pretty busy when we arrived, but they moved with the quickness to make sure everyone got their food timely. I love the presentation of the flying noodle, although I was in a fan of the dish itself as it had a little sweetness, which I wasn't a fan of. It was just OK to me. However, everything else we ate was tasty and decently priced.
