Driver was kind. Spoke a different language so hard to understand. Order was missing toys & tickets...whole point of ordering from Chuck e Cheese. Employee return about 30mins later with a ticket print out instead of actual tickets (what's the point.... we know they won't reopen... my kids want to play with actual tickets!) Won't be using this location anymore. Ordered last week with a much better experience. read more

Really, it's Chuck E Cheese. There's nothing really special about the pizza or the food here and we all know this.So why do we come here? For the salad bar. Just kidding. Everyone knows that we only come here for the kids. That's it! There's no more too it. The kids run around while the adults drink beer to make the pain go away from the screaming kids. Eat, drink, repeat until the pain is bearable. The pizza is decent when it just comes out of the oven, but man let it sit and cool down, it tastes not so good. The salad bar is a salad bar. Nothing special about it. The wings are mediocre and the drinks are fountain drinks. Again, like I said earlier, the food here is whatevers. This is not the place to pick up chicks, nor is it the place to go out on a date. Again, we only come here because of our kids. That is unless you are a molester but that is why there is a security at the front watching who comes in but I don't know how effective that is. Either way, if you see me here, it's probably because it's one of my friends kid's birthday. That means I need another beer so don't be afraid to to bring the pitcher by my table. read more

Who doesn't love Chuck E Cheese?!?! We used to go to this location when we were younger and now that I'm older its where we take the kids. Recently went here after many years for my nephew's 3rd birthday party and everyone had a good time. The location itself was clean, clean bathrooms, lots of different games, fresh salad bar that was constantly being restocked and of course the pizza is also pretty good. The only thing that stood out to me were the dirty trash receptacles, they looked like they werent wiped down in days. read more

So as we all get older the reviews transition from Bars and Clubs to places for kids. I do not have any children just yet, but a lot of my friends do and they are starting to have birthday parties. I was recently invited to one at Chuck E Cheese's. It's been since my childhood since I have stepped inside of one and this place is pretty darn nice. They make you check in if you have kids. If you come in with a kid you are supposed to exit with the same corresponding kid/number of kids. This is a good thing, don't want people walking out with the wrong children. But our group had a few reserved tables in the back so it was interesting. The birthday child gets to go into the ticket cyclone thing. They have pizza and unlimited drinks as part of the party package. This makes so much sense because you can have the kids run around and have fun and at the end of the day you just pack up the toys and leave. The cleaning is already paid for. read more

I had my sons 3rd birthday party here today. Our hostess Scarlett was wonderful, she took care of everything and was so awesome! Everyone was taken care of and had a great time. For everything we got I feel like the price was affordable. The food was a lot better then I thought it would and I would absolutely have another party here in the future. read more

Just went here tonight (10/3). I haven't been to a chuck e cheese in 10+ yrs and this was my first time at this location in Placentia. Pro: not too crowded on a Saturday night, tables seem to be clean. Cons: CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If you want customer service, don't expect it here. I know some hard working high school aged kids, but there wasn't any work ethic with the kids who work here. Its just sad that they don't care about their job. I stood at the counter to wait to order a coffee and i can see two employees on each side of me without acknowledging me even though we made eye contact. Then we were in line with other parties to redeem our tickets for prizes, again, employees saw us, but no acknowledgement. So what i realized was, if its not their job or work station, they won't help you. So there is no team work involved either. This includes the manager herself. So, if you have time and patience, and don't care about customer service, then this place is fine. My 5 yr old had fun and that's what mattered at the time. But will i initiate to come back to this location, uh no. To the corporate office: i'm guessing corporate is involved in the hiring process somewhat, right? I would recommend you revisit your employee requirements. Similar kid places like Pump it Up and Seascape also hire similar aged employees and they are way more attentive than the employees at this Placentia location. I'm sure you know customer service is huge in your industry to maintain your visitors and their referrals to their friends and family. You can do all the commercials or even partnerships with big names like Disney Junior to bring in new customers, but without decent customer service, your bottom revenue will be hit hard. CEC has come a long way from the days when the tickets were hand counted. While their prices are a bit high, you can always find coupons online. They give away extra tokens if your child brings in a report card or fills out one of CEC's reading logs that you can also print online. Come early when they first open to avoid the crowd, enjoy a clean play area, and to get the freshest food. Come at night if you like the crowd and dirty tables/floors. read more

One of the best Chuck E Cheese i have ever been to. The employees and manager were so nice and kind. Always had a smile. The manager let me use of the longer tables for my sons birthday without reservation. My son turned 2 and he had an amazing time. Thank you so much to the staff. read more

They didn't have many games to play and the prizes are impossible to get a nice prize for the cost. Salad bar is small.

Games are old but that's okay, food is good and games are cheap! Staff is also very nice. Love taking my niece and nephews here! They also have draft beer which is a plus! read more

Personally I hate and avoid all Chuck E Cheese's to the best of my ability. A friend invited me to a birthday party and since that pretty much equals FREE, I obliged and went with my kiddo. The second we walk in I get the feeling to flee. All the different noices and sounds, and chucke singing happy birthday. It's madness. My daughter has a fear of the rat, so we had to stand behind the rope (cause she wouldn't move) until he went away. We finally get inside and they must of changed the layout, cause it didn't feel the same as the last time (which was over a year ago). We sat and ate some of the pizza, which wasn't that bad. Played some of the games and just relaxed. All in all it was a normal experience. But I think there are way better things any one could be doing with their kids. read more

Do not play Simpsons pinball. One ball and game shorts or ends and says game over. Total ripoff. Sure, it's a token but its crap!!!! This CEC is well-spaced and wasn't too crowded on a week night. The staff were like zombies however and the salad bar and drink machines were dirty. Maybe they should spend more time on the restaurant than on their cell phones. read more

Clean! Surprisingly (but of course, with unbused tables all evening). Very un-crowded on a Monday early evening. Pizza is meh, but if you are going here for the food, you are obviously not a gourmand. The BEST fail in a long time though- when we leave, an employee comes to check our handstamps with the black light.... And can't find any on us. We have heard that hand sanitizer removes ink, and we mention this to him. And he says..... "I haven't heard that about hand sanitizer. I know water removes it, though." WATER. I guess if you take a piss at CEC, make sure not to wash your hands or else they might not let your kids out with you. This was the funniest bit of stuff we've seen in a while. read more

Went to this location after hearing about Chuck Es Big deal in which you get 250 tickets for purchasing a value deal. They had no idea what it was, even after I showed them the coupon and I only got 25 tickets. Also we never got to see Chuck E. Other than that it was nice,and my daughter loved it, but I just had to buy my daughter the bigger prize. read more

Yeah, I'm gonna give this one a 4 even though other Chucks I have been to actually rate a 3 or lower. In this case they had a fully staffed order-taking area AND ticket-exchange gift handler. In former places, they always had one bedraggled college student handle everything from order taking to cleaning the salad bar to pulling prizes off the wall.....which sucked and formed long lines and wait times. A squirmy 2 year old in your arms is never down with a boring wait, and neither is an antsy 4 year old waiting to get his Ben 10 toy he "earned" by shooting spiders for 2 hours. Something odd in this pace about the pizza: I didn't feel ill as much as I normally do at CEC's. Woohoo! So they get an extra star. They would get 5 if they were actually Dave and Busters, which has better games and plenty of kids games, not just the 1970's recycles. I am surprised I didn't see Space Invaders or Asteroids in there. read more

We recently celebrated our sons' 4th birthday here and had a great time. Our party host, Liz, was attentive and friendly to our entire party. We were there on a Tuesday, so it wasn't very crowded and all of the kids had so much fun playing games(without having to wait!). Chuck E. came out and spent some time with our little guys and they were thrilled. The food was good, as they have more offerings for adults now like ciabatta sandwiches and boneless wings. The restaurant and game areas were very clean and the birthday packages are reasonable...AND they do all the clean up! I will likely plan their next birthday here too. read more

This chuck e cheese is pretty bad. The pizza is not that good for the wait. All of the kids get out of control which I realize that kids will be crazy here but when one kid is punching another kid and another is stealing some other kids tickets the staff should do something about it. Also the bathrooms are so nasty, once I saw poop on the floor just sitting there. Its just not worth it to take your kid there because it is loud and annoying for the parents and kids don't even have that much fun when somebody beats them up for their tickets. Never go here! P.S. Sad. Salad bar was empty. I asked an associate if she could fill it up, she said yes and walked away...she walked passed the salad bar a few times and then went to help the people with tickets, while I stood there with my plate. Her badge was turned around probably so no one would see her name. She was tall, afro-american with super long fake eyelashes. People were taking photos of the empty salad bar. Restroom was flooded by the sinks. In the bathroom stall there was a lot of urine and large amounts of half soaked up papers on floor. All tables were dirty, my husband had to get a napkin and get water from the soda dispenser to clean the table. read more

I have to say I'm normally NOT a very picky person and would've given this location at least 3 maybe 4 stars. But it appears to have gone downhill since last time I was here. It was clean and they even recently remodeled. But now the seats are even less comfortable and the pizza is the worst I've ever had. Granted it was no Round Table before, but it was edible. Now even the "Pizza Pizza" place has better pizza, and is way cheaper. Too bad I can't bring my own food in. I guess I'll make up for it by heading by Golden Spoon after. read more

On terms of CEC's, this one may be one of the nicest. The pizza is usually okay. for their standards. usually children eat this and dont really know great pizza. they are just itching to run off and play the little games that are usually all 1 token each. the bathrooms were clean. it wasnt overrun by children. i coudl watch my cousins run around without having to follow them and vulture to make sure theyre okay. The wings tasted like Tyson's hot wings from costco? idk it kinda bothered me and made me grossed out. go after that truck game. 80 ticket wins. just get the right timing. read more

Best CEC location that I have been to. Came here for a birthday and it is Sunday. It was not as busy at first but it gradually got busier. The customers here are OC crowd and you can tell. Games here seem to be in better condition. As always though there are some, skeeball where all balls are not correct number and machines do not have signs on them when they are off. But the staff are on it with the credits and helping out the customers. Overall the kids had a blast and I don't hesitate taking people at this CEC. read more

My nephew had a bday party here last friday (4/13). The salad bar as good, the pizza was ok and the cake wasn't that good. Food was ok but lets face it, we don't go there for the food. Our kids enjoyed the games and collecting tickets. The place seem packed, not because there were a whole lot of people but I think the place is kinda small. I really would have given this place a 4 but one person ruined it for me. The girl serving our food just didn't make the experience any better. She was also the one singing happy birthday with Chuck E. If you're gonna work at a kids place, you have to SMILE. The only time I saw her smile was when she was up on stage. The whole time while she was giving us our food and handing us our coins, she made us feel like she was the one paying us to be there. We would have complained but I didn't want her spitting on our food. UPDATE 11/9/12: I was there yesterday with my kid and we were also there a month ago. The service here is very hit and miss. I guess the training isn't really good. One person that stood out to me last night was Ivette. It was really hard to tell if she just looks upset all the time or if she was really just upset that day. I just think that if you're working with kids you have to be friendlier. Yeah, still a 2 star for me but has a very good potential to be a 4 star if not for the service. read more

So dirty , lots of "out of orders", some arcades promise tickets that never come out, restroom without toilet paper, long time waiting for food! Last time I took a shock on the Jett Rider simulator .... like, NO maintenance around at all! Unfortunately it is close to my house and kids love it, but I'll have to find a better safer place for them to have fun!!!! My son loves chuck e cheese but i had yet to find one that i actually liked since most of them always have a weird smell as soon as you walk in. This has been the cleanest Chuck E Cheese we have been too. Only complaint is some of the games were out of service. But overall good experience will be making the drive to this specific location! read more

Absolutley terrible. Came for a birthday party for my brother. They had no clue what we talked about and took them about 20 minutes to get on page. Service was terrible throughout the night and the layout was cramped and small. Did not enjoy it at all. The employees took almost no attention to detail.
