I attended my niece's birthday party here at Chuck E Cheese, and it was really fun. I hadn't been to this place in years and I forgot how much of a good time one can have, during their visit. This was our first and unfortunetly last time here. The worker in the picture (no name tag) was behind the counter. We were trying to figure out the menu and thus were standing to the side of the counter so that others could place their orders. She began almost yelling at us to place our orders as she rolled her eyes and didn't crack one smile, nor did she welcome us ever. We weren't decided on what to order and didn't appreciate being rushed. There was no Check E. Cheese show of any type and should ypur child wish to jump around in the fairly small jumping area, that would cost you $18.00. I couldn't tell you the last time I came to Chuck E Cheese and boy was it different. I knew they got rid of the stage where Chuck E and his friends played in a bad but now they have LED projector screens everywhere playing music videos and things. While we were there for about 5 hours, the Chuck costume only came out once and we were lucky enough to already be near his entrance area. The play area was fun for my toddler - I thought he'd get tired after doing all the rides in the first hour, but he proved me wrong and continued to be interested in the space. We paid the additional fee to have access to the obstacle course and trampoline areas so he had fun running in and out of those attractions in between playing games. His favorite activity was definitely the trampoline. We ordered a pizza while we were there and it was pretty flavorful we ate the whole thing between the two of us as it was a small (not personal, but small). With the additional fees and food I ended up spending about $75 here which I didn't expect it to be so much, but my kid had fun and it was a good time. We will definitely come back. I think they have a deal (maybe only for summer) to get a season pass and you get either unlimited play tokens for an hour or something similar and maybe one food item (don't quote me on that) but if you did their deal that might be a good bargain. read more

We LOVE this Chuck E Cheese!! The staff is always really great the food is great too. They have Fun Pass you can buy that is an incredible deal .... we could go every day with this pass and get 50 percent off food plus 250 free points every day. I'm not sure how many people know about this, but it's a no brainer and makes eating there very inexpensive. The salad bar is really fresh and the pizza I think has garlic salt in the crust?? which makes it so good. We always get meatballs too. My kids love the Dip N Dots too. We've had birthday parties there the last couple of years for our kids and theyre always so much fun. All 4 of my kids got norovirus form here on 4/11/26 , there was a child who pooped and threw up in the slide area and the workers who went to clean this up where not wearing gloves and it's the same workers that were serving the food. Instead of telling the parents don't let your sick child go back in there the sick kid went in again and pooped and threw up all over the slide again, this is crazy. All 4 of my kids are now throwing up and have diarrhea as well as me and my husband and all the other kids and families who where there for this birthday party on 4-11-26 THIS PLACE IS HORRIFIC how do you have the same workers cleaning up poop and throw up that are also preparing the food , never in my life has something like this happened. I believe her name was roxy.....not sure but she was in charge of all the singing and letting us know when stuff was going to happen. She was amazing!!! GIVE HER A RAISE SHE IS A GEM! My biggest down side was the fact that I HAD to buy $10 socks for my kid even though he had grippy socks on. Came here for my grandsons 4th birthday. Sadly, we will not be returning to this Chuck E location (Yorba Linda). I am disappointed with the employees and management. As we were eating, a young kid got sick in the dining area. We all felt bad for the mom and the kid of course. Staff were standing around looking at the mom without bothering to ask if she/they needed help. Although my husband initially got up to help, there wasn't much he could do as the mom was already walking her child to the restroom. The workers didn't bother to clean the area. Instead, the mom returned and began cleaning up the area herself, while her child maybe 10yr. old remained in the restroom. Employees failed to step in and clean it up so she could attend to her child. They were huddled up, watching her and walking around with a bag and a cloth but failed to assist. While the mom was cleaning up, employees all disappeared leaving the front entrance/exit area unattended as well as the front desk. Meanwhile, employees would randomly appear to serve themselves plates at the salad bar and management appeared to be leaving for the night without initially approaching the mom. A manager on her way out appeared to be telling the employees what to do to "sanitize" the area. The manager briefly approached the mom on her way out. Two employees came out to "attempt to clean" the area but failed to do so. They sprayed the area with a solution and walked away. Then proceeded to leave the bottle on the counter within reach of children; it stayed there until we left. Needless to say, employees need to be adequately trained for situations like this. It's a kids place and vomit, accidents are bound to happen. Although the mom was being nice and respectful by cleaning up, management or employees should've offered to help. Rant over! As for the food, we ordered pizza, salad bar and an appetizer samplerit was "ok" the salad was the highlight and clearly by the way the employees were serving themselves, they thought so too. read more

If you have a child on the spectrum don't bring your kid here they are not accommodating or friendly and extremely judgmental. It's not the cleanest or most well kept. Many kids rough housing and breaking the rules and they turn the other way but if your child is 'different' like mine, and it draws extra attention they will treat you like a criminal. read more

We have the fun pass and go at least 5 times a month. My son is 6 years old and LOVES Chuck E. Cheese. He gets even more excited when Chuck E makes his appearance. It was my first time taking my son to CEC. We were there for a birthday party. I didn't have much expectation but i was surprised how much fun my son had. He played for over 5 hours and the only reason why it wasn't longer was because we stayed until they were about to close. The games were more updated and simulated. So they kept my son and his friends quite entertained for many hours. After they were done with the games, there were points you collect from every game you played. In exchange, you can pick different prizes too. The kids were super excited because there were still more toys so they can continue their fun in the car. Overall I felt the restaurant was clean and well managed. There were staff to help you with anything you need. The bathroom was clean as well. As far as the food, it was okay. The kids all loved the chicken tenders, seasoned fries, and pizza. I thought the salad bar was a better selection and also a much healthier choice. This is a good venue to hosts birthday parties for kids. The parents can chill and catch up while the kids will have a blast playing games. Well it's finally happened; the stage is entirely gone now. My favorite part of Chuck E Cheese is gone, and my kid is sad about it too. Several of the games weren't working. We "paid" for one game (the Milk Jugs game) and it started counting down how many balls were left in play but it never dispensed any so we didn't get to play our 2nd round. It worked the first try then the 2nd it didn't work. Bummer. Pizza was hot and fresh as usual. Staff was friendly enough but they seemed overloaded probably because of parties. We bought a personal size pizza, 30 play credits, and a Chuck E kids cup and spent $40, which is a bit steep. Removed one star from my previous review for the stage being gone. Now it's just large white walls with character panels and a big screen that plays videos. It's lost its charm. We used to make a special trip all the way to this location because of the animatronics! Came for a birthday party on a Sunday night . Plenty of parking. Birthday boy was given a cool bracelet with unlimited play for 2 hours. There was plenty to do for our kids, age ranging from 18 months to 11 years. I was relieved to see how clean the equipment was. No broken rides. No token/ tickets. All of that was electronic. Pizza was good. I indulged in an extra slice or two! The kids had a blast for 3 hours and were resisting go home. I booked a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese for my daughter , and it was sadly a disappointment . Chuck E. only made ONE small appearance the entire time, and we were never given any guidance or help from the staff. All I was told was where my table was, and from there I had to constantly wait in long lines just to ask for basic things & questions No employee ever approached us to check in or make sure things were going smoothly. I had to wait in a long line to ask when chuck e was making the birthday appearance. We also weren't offered the ticket blaster that was supposed to come with the package. The lack of organization and customer service really ruined what should have been a special day for my daughter. I would not recommend hosting a birthday party here. read more

We haven't visited Chuck E Cheese b4 Covid, possibly back in 2019 or 2020. Was invited to go have a play date there this afternoon. On a Wednesday. This location is the nearest one to our house. So glad they didn't shut down during Covid. Sad the Fullerton and a few has closed down. CEC brings make nostalgia of my young years. It's like a Toys r Us era. The Rides, arcade/machine games are really kept clean and I do see associate going around wiping down the rides, games, attractions with alcohol, sanitizing it. Really love this location. Tip ~ Wednesday is unlimited play for an hour $ 17.99 They have now switch to E Tickets. FYI Lots of parking available. Great place to have the kids enjoy a few hour or 2. Attended a birthday party here and it was an amazing time. As another reviewer mentioned, there are no more animatronics here and it seems there is way more space for party tables/tables. Arrived around 11:15 AM on a Sunday and we were greeted by a gentleman who was stamping everyone's arm so you don't leave with someone you're not supposed to (which is great for security). We had clearly labeled tables for the party we were attending and the kids were given their play cards and were off to play games. Every game was working, there were tons of employees around if you had any questions, and you could hear the announcements for when your party was ready to start/eat. Zoey (Zoe, Zoie, not sure how she spells it) was FANTASTIC! She was our party host and she was attentive, knowledgeable, and just really pleasurable to be around. I asked her some questions about the remodel and she was really knowledgeable about the store and was really nice. There was no guessing of when things were going to start or where we needed to be, Zoey had it all lined up for us and ready to go! Food was pizza, cheese and pepperoni, and it was great as usual! The kids had fruit punch in their CEC cups and drank every last drop. I opted for the salad bar which was $11.99 and it was unlimited trips you just had to ask for a new plate/fork. They offered potato salad with the salad bar as well which is nice to have other options than just regular salad. The salad bar was fresh, I think I was the first one to get to it or they just keep it that clean, and it was clear of debris from falling food. Chuck E Cheese still got it!! This place was beyond amazing when I was a child and I had just as much fun this time with my children! I don't know why people hate on Chuck E Cheese so much. Maybe they don't like the locations near them (I know they vary by location with number and quality of rides/games). Regardless, this location is amazing. It had so many fun games and even some cute rides! I like how they kept the stage and all the animatronics the same from when I was a kid. It was very nostalgic! They did maintain them well as they looked brand new. So you can tell they do care about making the experience a good one! As with any arcade, there are always games out of service. The rides out of service were the photo booth (probably super popular), and the Chuck E Car that takes your picture as you ride. Clearly the photo ops are in high demand but I was happy that there was still another photo op that was working! My family took a fun picture and now we have a souvenir for the day! My three-year-old loved the Merry-go-round and the racing rides. The rides were mild enough even for my still crawling one-year-old! There was also a fun motion theater ride that my daughter and her two friends all rode together! And you get 3 rides for the price of 1 credit so it was totally worth it. Let's talk food: I personally loved it. I see other comments complaining about the food like the salad bar and the lack of vegan and gluten free and other uber healthy options. The bottom line is, stop expecting a kids' venue to serve gourmet food for cheap prices. If you want that fancy stuff don't expect to spend $5 on an all you can eat salad bar. You get the basics and honestly, they were fine! Everything was fresh when I was there. The pizza is actually pretty good! The prices are super fair and I like how they have a veggie pizza option, which is my go to! We arrived around 3 pm and had dinner served around 4 pm. Which is fine on a busy weekend because my daughter snacked here and there for an hour so basically at around her normal 5 pm dinner time. We left around 6 pm and at that time it became much more crowded! It was nearly empty at 4 so that's a time I recommend for a party. Speaking of which, having attempted to plan multiple bday parties I can tell you no matter what you do or where you have it, putting on a birthday party is HARD!!! And EXPENSIVE!! Thank you Chuck E Cheese. For a low flat rate everything is covered: venue, entertainment, food, cake, set up & clean up, even gift bags. I like how you can choose your party package so you can spend as little or as much as you feel comfortable. 100% I will be having my daughters' next birthday party not only at Chuck E Cheese, but this location specifically. Wow! Really impressed by the recent remodel, as the layout now looks more open (especially on the side for younger kids) and they finally removed some of the machines that were broken. Love how they've migrated over to electronic tickets, so you no longer have to worry about collecting paper tickets. It also makes redeeming prizes so much easier! The unlimited play is still the best deal and provides hours of entertainment! One of the last CECs in the surrounding area. It's pretty small compared to other ones that have since closed down. Ample parking and doesn't seem to get super crowded at expected peak times. Tried their pizza one day and was pleasantly surprised, it was way better than what I remember. I hope they continue with this new and improved version. Complaints are regarding the bathrooms and alcohol. The bathrooms aren't maintained during busy times so they're pretty gross. I get that to stay in business, maybe they need to serve alcohol. I don't understand or agree with that since this is a kids place and the parents/guardians there should be tending to their kids and not getting buzzed. But regardless, I don't think they should allow customers to take their drinks wherever around the whole place. One time I saw someone leave their drink unattended on top of a game that other kids were able to reach over and grab their drink. Fortunately the kids didn't drink it but they proceeded to dump it all over the carpeted floor and the smell was super strong. Of course the person who the drink belonged to was stupidly obliviously, possibly slightly intoxicated from what I observed. It was such a disgusting sight and I don't know if I'll come back with my kids other than in the morning when they first open, less chance of these types of dumb customers being around. A suggestion for CEC: Keep one sectioned area where customers have to consume their alcoholic drink and they're not allowed to take the drink anywhere outside of that. read more

We stopped by here a few times and the kids always had a good time. Among some other locations we have been, this place is the cleanest! They also were pretty good with the checking in and out and mask thing during pandemic since a lot of kids are at the location and some might not be eligible to get the vaccines, I think it's good to be safe than sorry. Food is the standard pizza, wings and soda and it's decent enough for the kids! They also have beer for the adults; parking is pretty easy. read more

The last time I was at a Chuck E. Cheese was probably at least 15 years ago. So this time, when we took our little guy, we were not expecting much. How pleasant a surprise to see how Chuck E. Cheese has evolved. I was really quite impressed. First off, the place is so clean. I remember Chuck E. Cheese being this place that looked a little dingy and was full of balls to jump in that everyone knew were never cleaned. The days of the balls is gone. There are zero ball pits at least at this location and everything was sparkling. Second, the days of tokens and tickets (also kind of a dirty thing) are in the past. We purchased a time limit on a card and then used th card to swipe into the games/rides. That same card collected our tickets. 45 minutes was more than enough to melt our little guy's mind and it wasn't super expensive. Third, there was so much to do, and it was all modern. Some of my favorites included: ***The picture thing where you take a picture and then a sketch drawing of your picture pops out for you to keep. We did one each of my little guy with both of us parents individually and they turned out SO cute! ***This zombie game where you shoot water at a screen, and it knocks down zombies. We did this like 4 times and I had to pry our little guy away as he would have kept doing it all day. ***Fruit ninja...why do I love this so much? They had a larger screen where the 3 of us sliced fruit and tried to avoid the bombs. ***This thing on the floor that was a projection game where we stomped on things for points ***The games that are like things they have in Vegas. So there is one where you spin a wheel (think a smaller version of Wheel of Fortune) and then you push a button to make it stop, trying for a big ticket pay out. Also, this one where after you swipe in, it sends a coin down a ramp and any coins you knock out are worth tickets. I'm not saying we're lucky or that we have mad skills, but we did win some big tickets;) So much tickets in fact that we were able to trade in half of them for a rainbow slinkie. This much coveted treasure is hardly worth the money we put into it but is an amazing reminder of how much fun our little family had and a super nice souvenir. We will be back! read more

Came here before as a pass holder. Only like our third time here. Mrs Sandy is apparently a manager and was training when we walked in the door. 3 staff were crowding the entrance side. So my 3 year old went left. He stands at the gate always and waits for attendants. Husband called to our son and told him to go to the other side, but apparently manager still thought it was appropriate to talk to him like he's a teenager and raise her voice and tell him to move to the other side. Talk to the parents, not the kids. But save your breath if we're already directing him. Then she asks us if we have a pass to which we were weirded out because they never ask us that at the entry gate and then proceeds to ask 'then you know about the trampoline? ' we said yes, but she still went ahead and still told us 'you need to pay extra'. Never had any comments towards customer service until today. read more
