I couldn't tell you the last time I came to Chuck E Cheese and boy was it different. I knew they got rid of the stage where Chuck E and his friends played in a bad but now they have LED projector screens everywhere playing music videos and things. While we were there for about 5 hours, the Chuck costume only came out once and we were lucky enough to already be near his entrance area. The play area was fun for my toddler - I thought he'd get tired after doing all the rides in the first hour, but he proved me wrong and continued to be interested in the space. We paid the additional fee to have access to the obstacle course and trampoline areas so he had fun running in and out of those attractions in between playing games. His favorite activity was definitely the trampoline. We ordered a pizza while we were there and it was pretty flavorful we ate the whole thing between the two of us as it was a small (not personal, but small). With the additional fees and food I ended up spending about $75 here which I didn't expect it to be so much, but my kid had fun and it was a good time. We will definitely come back. I think they have a deal (maybe only for summer) to get a season pass and you get either unlimited play tokens for an hour or something similar and maybe one food item (don't quote me on that) but if you did their deal that might be a good bargain.

    Favorite ride.

The food was great service was wonderful. Jocelyn was very helpful during our first visit taking our Grandson. She answered all of my questions and helped me through the process of getting socks and directing me around. She is a great help. The atmosphere is great. We will be back!! Thank you Joceyln for all your help.

Came here for my grandsons 4th birthday. Sadly, we will not be returning to this Chuck E location (Yorba Linda). I am disappointed with the employees and management. As we were eating, a young kid got sick in the dining area. We all felt bad for the mom and the kid of course. Staff were standing around looking at the mom without bothering to ask if she/they needed help. Although my husband initially got up to help, there wasn't much he could do as the mom was already walking her child to the restroom. The workers didn't bother to clean the area. Instead, the mom returned and began cleaning up the area herself, while her child maybe 10yr. old remained in the restroom. Employees failed to step in and clean it up so she could attend to her child. They were huddled up, watching her and walking around with a bag and a cloth but failed to assist. While the mom was cleaning up, employees all disappeared leaving the front entrance/exit area unattended as well as the front desk. Meanwhile, employees would randomly appear to serve themselves plates at the salad bar and management appeared to be leaving for the night without initially approaching the mom. A manager on her way out appeared to be telling the employees what to do to "sanitize" the area. The manager briefly approached the mom on her way out. Two employees came out to "attempt to clean" the area but failed to do so. They sprayed the area with a solution and walked away. Then proceeded to leave the bottle on the counter within reach of children; it stayed there until we left. Needless to say, employees need to be adequately trained for situations like this. It's a kids place and vomit, accidents are bound to happen. Although the mom was being nice and respectful by cleaning up, management or employees should've offered to help. Rant over! As for the food, we ordered pizza, salad bar and an appetizer samplerit was "ok" the salad was the highlight and clearly by the way the employees were serving themselves, they thought so too.

They say this is the best CEC. I wouldnt know but little Nora explained it was alot bigger and more games. All the kids seemed to be in good behavior. After 12 it gets crazy in here lol Chuck e could have been a little better imo but this party is with 5yos so it doesnt matter much i guess.

Huge screen added to the wall in the party corner.

Well it's finally happened; the stage is entirely gone now. My favorite part of Chuck E Cheese is gone, and my kid is sad about it too. Several of the games weren't working. We "paid" for one game (the Milk Jugs game) and it started counting down how many balls were left in play but it never dispensed any so we didn't get to play our 2nd round. It worked the first try then the 2nd it didn't work. Bummer. Pizza was hot and fresh as usual. Staff was friendly enough but they seemed overloaded probably because of parties. We bought a personal size pizza, 30 play credits, and a Chuck E kids cup and spent $40, which is a bit steep. Removed one star from my previous review for the stage being gone. Now it's just large white walls with character panels and a big screen that plays videos. It's lost its charm. We used to make a special trip all the way to this location because of the animatronics! Now that they are gone we will have to stick to a local location.

When paying surprised the machine didn't ask for a tip and they don't charge $ for ranch!! The quality of ingredients is has a freshness to it. The cuts of the veggies like black olives or mushrooms were not small and did not disappoint. They do not skimp on the cheese, there was lots of it that gave you the "cheese pull." The dough is very soft and fluffy!! Plus it didn't taste greasy or anything! Place is bigger than I thought too and plenty of searing with a tv. Tony's Little Italy "authentic" Chicago Deep Dish Pizza is a $10 pizza masquerading as a $42 pizza…read more Tony's "Chicago-Style" (it only looks like one) is closer to Little Caesar's than a true Chicago masterpiece. I tried Tony's Little Italy Pizza in Placentia for the first time and I can attest that THIS IS IN NO-WAY AN "AUTHENTIC CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA" as advertised. It's not even close. I can't fault the enthusiasm of family frontmen like Taylor or his Uncle, Tony, for their contagious enthusiasm for their product, but all other comparisons end there. I lived in Chicago for more than a decade working for Leo Burnett Advertising/Chicago where the real Chicago deep dish pizza's, the standards by which you would judge "authentic," are Giordano's, Gino's East, Pizzaria Uno, and Lou Malnati's (a distant 4th in the rankings). These pizzas are HEAVY with quality ingredients and though deep dish, the crust is something that never gets in the way. In TRUE CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA ingredients are 90% of the pizza, the crust 10% or less. The opposite is the case at Tony's where they make pizza's that are ALL dough and FEW ingredients. Tony's Little Italy Pizza offers a poor rendition of true Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. I ordered a 12" sausage, spinach, and mushroom - the exact same pizza I'd order at Giordano's, Gino's East, Pizzaria UNO, or Lou Malnati's countless times. What I got was a pizza that is 90% tasteless dried bread called a crust and a few tablespoons of ingredients (sausage, spinach, mushrooms) disguised under a heavy tomato sauce. In many places the unappetizing crust extended all the way to the surface hidden only by the tomato sauce topping on my pizza. Looks good but the deception ends there. I got almost no cheese, few mushrooms, skimpy sausage, and miserly spinach. This may be what one call's Chicago STYLE (and that's what Tony's should call it) pizza out here on the west coast, but this pizza definitely would not carry its own weight in Chicago. If you've eaten Chicago Deep Dish Pizza in Chicago where I've been you will easily be able to relate to everything I am saying. If you've never had a real Chicago Deep Dish Pizza then be forewarned. This isn't the real deal. It's what Little Caesar's would do if they tried to sell Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. All dough, no substance. As Scotty said in Star Trek TOS, " Fool me once-shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." We won't be going back. Appearances are deceiving!

This is my new go to place for pizza and I've been telling my fellow foodies in the area about it…read more Let me preface this review by saying that I'm usually a Pizza Hut customer and had been pretty happy with my local location, great pizza, frequent discounts and friendly service. I came across Pizza Guys, because my child's school was running a fundraiser here, so I didn't have high expectations, I mean, it's a fundraiser after all... Wow was I in for a surprise! There are 3 reasons why I would give a restaurant my business, all 3 reasons being equally important. One, it has to be yummy. The pizza here was surprisingly yummy and they didn't skimp on the toppings! Two, the price has to be right. The prices were reasonable and when they run a sale, I am getting excellent value for my money. Three, it should have decent service at a minimum. This is where it blew me away! The service here was not only excellent, it was the kind that retains customers and loyalty. In fact, I will buy from this location regardless of whether there was an active sale at the time and even if the location is out of my way. The people at the Katella location are usually friendly and nice. However, the dynamic duo that has earned my loyalty to this location are Bruno and Josh. Long story short, my kids like their pizza square cut, but at some point, the app ordering system was changed so that I can no longer choose that option and it's too much hassle to call in every time, so I went several orders/months with the typical cut/slice. When I went in last night for my app placed pizza, I was happy to see that Bruno and Josh were behind the counter, since I hadn't seen them in a long time (I've been visiting on their off days), but what surprised me was that Bruno actually remembered that I prefer my pizza square cut and Josh had the pizza/toppings just the way my kids like it. The guys did that for me, without my asking! Wow!!! I can't believe that Bruno actually remembered my preference after all this time!!! As busy and lazy as I am, I feel compelled to write this review, because what they did was above and beyond expectations. Bruno and Josh are young men, I have no doubt that if/when they outgrow this location, just the attitude and attention to detail alone, both essential entrepreneur mindsets, will get them far in life. I wouldn't be surprised if they have their own franchised Pizza Guys locations later and I'd be one of the first customers to visit and say, I told you so! ;)

My sister originally chose Terra because she saw a picture of one of their salads with salmon and knew immediately that was what she wanted. We had no idea we were about to discover a new favorite restaurant. 10/10 -- I've already bookmarked Terra because I will absolutely be back. When we arrived, we told our server we had never been there before and asked what she recommended. Her descriptions of the food were fantastic, and she steered us toward the wood-grilled peaches with burrata and arugula. Oh. My. Goodness. Absolutely delicious! The grilled peaches, creamy burrata and arugula were such a wonderful combination. Then the salad came out, with salmon added. I took my first bite and was literally speechless. It was an explosion of flavor -- the avocado, salmon, sesame dressing and everything else going on in that salad just worked. The salmon costs extra, but it was absolutely worth it. The peach dish and the salad were completely different flavor experiences, and honestly I would happily order both of them again. We were talking about how we were gonna come back and try to resist ordering the same thing over again, but that will be a challenge. Of course, we were at a wood-fired pizza restaurant, so we HAD to try the pizza. We ordered half-and-half. One side was the fingerling potato pizza, especially after our server told us the story about the owner's daughter wanting fingerling potatoes on her pizza and how that helped inspire the restaurant. Obviously, after hearing that story, we had to try the pizza that started it all! And it did not disappoint. I can definitely see myself ordering that again. The other half was the salami pizza with the honey drizzle. It was supposed to have some heat -- my sister could taste it, although I couldn't -- and the honey made it a really interesting combination. Not something I would normally think to order, but definitely worth trying. I also ordered the citrus agave, thinking it was basically a fancy name for lemonade. It wasn't! Lemon, orange and lime made it much more interesting, with just a slight bitterness from the citrus that balanced the sweetness. Delicious and different. We sat upstairs, where there was a wonderful breeze coming through on a summer evening. The whole atmosphere was charming and relaxed, the service was excellent, and the food was memorable. The biggest surprise? Terra is right near my office, and I never knew it was there. Definitely a 10/10. I came because of a recommendation, and now I'm recommending it to everyone else. I will absolutely be back.
