Purchased Gold Summer Fun Pass which is advertised as 120 mins of weekly play. Received email to pick up at the location. Went inside told the staff that I purchased Summer Fun Pass online and received email with instructions to pick up. The staff there gave me the wrist band and said that it's activated and I have to use the 120 mins all in one day. No where did I find any disclosures that the 120 minutes must be used all at one time. The advertisements only mentions 120 mins weekly. I asked the staff to show me where it says they 120 mins must be used all at once and she said that it's "in our terms and conditions". I then asked her to show me the terms and conditions and she said that she doesn't have it. That you can see it only when you purchased the pass. The most upsetting part was that I was told that I should've read the terms and conditions before purchasing the passes. I read and re-read. All that was mentioned was "weekly" use. This is misleading and deceptive advertisement. For people who rarely ever goes to this facility, advertisements and instructions should be clear and concise. The Chuck E Cheese location in 2300 N Rose Dr Placentia Ca has me extremely disappointed, especially when it comes to customer service, BRYAN one of the workers there that thinks he is the owner and can treat people bad whenever he wants, this guy yells at me in front of everyone, BRYAN is definitely the worst employee I have ever had to help me, he just ruined my day... This is based off the food and service alone. The kid had a good time, but I got a salad and there was a short black hair in my bacon bits. I told the girl up front, she never offered me a new plate, refund, nothing. They never even changed the bacon out. I sat at the tables near the salad bar for quite a while after I told her. Pretty gross. I won't be getting food from there again. I understand things happen, but to not offer even a new plate of food is crazy. read more

I haven't been to this Chuck E. Cheese in years. As I walked in, I noticed a new trampoline attraction and they have redone the location. I was really impressed with the layout and the excellent customer service. My daughter lost her card right after receiving it and when I talked to the cashier, he called over the general manager Sandy. She quickly replaced the card and said that it happens a lot. The pizza was very good compared to other Chuck E. Cheese and tasted fresh. I will be returning to this location to enjoy the summer pass that they will be offering. read more

Great experience. The only thing that was a little unsettling was there was a man eating at a table in the toddler section the entire time we were there. I don't know if he worked there or what. He didn't have any kids with him. He was just eating at the salad bar. People without children really shouldn't be able to just go and eat there. And if he was an employee or manager, he should have taken his lunch break in the break room or somewhere in the back. It rubbed me the wrong way to have a grown man eating dinner alone at Chuck E Cheese. But overall, we took the kids (2 1/2 and 4 1/2) for the first time on New Year's Eve and they loved it. The place was clean, service was good. Chuck E came out to greet the kids. It was a good experience. They separate the little kids (toddler) area from the bigger kids area which is nice. I could not believe how inexpensive it is for the games. $20 got us 100 points and a game/ride is just 1 or two points each. We were actively trying to blow through the points and it was nearly impossible in the 2.5 hours we were there. We all had a blast and it didn't cost much (granted we didn't eat there). read more

Zero stars if possible. This place discriminates against children with glasses. We took my daughter there with her cousins (ages 3-7), spent $300 on food and games, only to find out after that the new trampoline attraction doesn't allow children to wear glasses. No where is it posted when you pay. It is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard that an employee asked my daughter who needs glasses to see to remove them or get out. No other trampoline park has this requirement (skyzone, urban air). Management was of zero help and just kept saying it was corporate and their insurance policy. After talking to "corporate," They offered my daughter some ridiculous full face cleaning goggles to wear that they found in the back. At this point, all of the kids were crying and upset about having to leave. Needless to say, I was not going to humiliate my daughter further and asked for a refund to never return. I will be contacting corporate as well about this situation. Really disappointed in a place I have been taking my family for over 10 years. read more

They remodeled everything the games work great and the food is a lot better than before my favorite is the cheese bread sticks they are delicious and the pizza is really good as well. WOW!! Even after years and years, Chuck-E-Cheese's is still hella fun. No, I didn't come in with any children, but that doesn't make it weird at all. I came for a charity competition for one of my clubs where we competed with other schools to see who could get the most tickets to get toys to donate. Here's my overall impression of this place compared to others: 1. Lots of game choices. Be sure to go online and print out coupons before you come though. A lot of the games will eat up all of your tokens before you know it. I suggest the Spongebob game for the best guaranteed amount of tickets, and the "Deal or No Deal" game to get the crowd going. Don't forget to save up for the sketch booth though! 2. Service here was great. The workers behind the counter were very friendly, and after our food was delivered, they even cleared away our trash (even when we weren't done with our drinks... so be sure to take your drinks with you if you don't have any food left over the table). 3. Pizza - We ordered a large, combo pizza for five of us. We each killed it after two slices each. It wasn't bad at all, and after playing for a while, you WILL get hungry... guaranteed. None of us tried any of the beers on tap, although it did specifically say only one drink per ID, per visit. 4. It was a good, fun atmosphere. You'll see a lot of the adults playing the games as well, so it's not just the children. Overall, a pretty big CEC, and a lot more to offer than other ones I've been to. Parking is available in a lot outside, but can get packed depending on the day. read more

I hate writing bad reviews for local businesses, especially as they struggle to recover in a COVID environment but I also hate when something is a complete waste of money. I took my son on a Monday afternoon and we were the only ones there. Just after running my credit card for 30 minutes of play, the cashier told me many of the machines are turned off to encourage social distancing. Indeed, MOST of the machines were turned off. My son is 2 years old and loves mainly the train and carousel- both turned off. Pictured are some of the many machines that were not in operation. So, having less options for play is supposed to discourage people from getting too close to each other? Wouldn't it just make for more traffic and lines for the operable machines? Although the sky tubes are gone, al arcade games appear to be running and up in good working condition. I was so surprised at the amazing friendly attitude of all the workers that went above and beyond what was required of their jobs. Just to highlight, Kaitlyn Scarlet and another female hard worker who was on duty were extremely attentive and friendly. My daughter kept hugging them and we had an overall blast! Extremely attentive and surprisingly now clean that the sky tubes are removed. One major reason for the removal was due to the sky tubing cleaning was often time ignored or impossible to clean properly after they had been in place for over 20 years. It's interior required an update according to corporate so it will stick with times. The animatronics will be leaving eventually for a remodel of an open kitchen for a fresh modern look. With the removal of the sky tubes comes a fresh more hygienic establishment. ///end update of review I grew up going to this Chuck E Cheese, so it's no wonder that I love it so much! I drive super far just to go to this one, I miss it! Every time I've ever entered this Chuck E Cheese I'm always amazed at the incredible service at this location. The workers here are always so pleasant and quick to assist with purchases at the front counter. Don't be expecting hand crafted artisanal stuff here. It's very basic but children love basic so that's what makes Chuck E Cheese so perfect for children. This Chuck e cheese's location really has kicked it up a notch! The tables are literally sparkling compared to other Chuck E Cheese locations I've been to. Although the cotton candy machine I've yet to see them actually use. Regardless of this all the workers are very friendly and always happy to help! The machines here are well maintained, I've been a client of this Chuck E Cheese since I was a child, they have definitely updated the inside quite a bit with tons of new updated floor machines for the kids to play with. The playpen is your standard Chuck E cheese tubes with your slide and play area, no shoes allowed. This location is just off of Rose in Placentia. The people here are always very friendly! read more

I am absolutely appalled by what I just witnessed. Staff members were arguing with a customer. This young woman saw the store manager touch and eat from her son's birthday cake. Apparently the cake had already been served to the party. As she was going to settle her bill, she walked past the kitchen and saw the bare handed manager grab and eat a piece of cake. When she confronted her, the manager said she was cleaning. This is the most DISGUSTING thing I have ever witnessed. My family and I will NEVER come here again. A big shout out to Manager Sandy who patiently and nicely helped us out with changing our paid order to the summer pass program. She topped off the day... Making this our preferred Chuck E Cheese location. Thank you Sandy! Games: all in working order. Technically, one was jammed but it's expected that games will break down or jam from time to time but that's not their fault. Cleanliness: tables, games, carpet, and restroom was clean. Overall clean l but I wish they hand sanitizer at the salad bar and at various spots near the games. They no longer stamp your hand for COVID reasons. Instead you take a picture as proof. Food was as expected for any other Chuck E Cheese. Nothing spectacular nor to complain about. They currently don't have wings but again not their fault... Decided to come here with my boyfriend to bring back some exciting childhood memories. That's exactly what happened!! We came around noon on a Tuesday so the place wasn't busy at all. We ordered right away and waited about 10 minutes for our food. We got a half cheese and half pepperoni pizza, and a side of fries. Sadly the fries came out very burnt but the pizza made up for it. We decided to get a game card and play some games. They have a deal when you pay $11 for 30 minutes of unlimited gaming. We had a blast and ended up getting 285 tickets. The prize selection has definitely changed, there was nothing to choose from and you basically can't get anything without having over 1,000 tickets. We held our daughters birthday party with some friends and family for the first time and didn't know what to expect. Did all of the reservations and picked the party package on line. Our party host always stayed cool calm and collected. She would come up and tell me the breakdown of what was to come all throughout our party which I appreciated. So far I have no complaints. The staff are really friendly here. They are also on top of refilling the AYCE area and cleaning tables. During lunch AYCE for an adult is $7.99 and a child is $5.99 I believe under 2 is free. They have meal combos that comes with preloaded game cards with various points. On Wednesday's it $14 and change for unlimited plays in the arcade. They were also advertising unlimited points/play card for games during bday parties packages. Attended my nephew's birthday this past weekend. I always look forward to their Salad bar, well...to my surprise I found something extra special in my blue cheese dressing. A HAIR!!! BLONDE HAIR TO BE EXACT! Disgusted as many would be. The staff handed me another plate. I was hesitant to take, but I did. I noticed she (staff member) did not remove the blue cheese dressing out of the salad bar!!!! I was absolutely disgusted. It was cake time.
