Went here last week with the 21/2 yr old granddaughter and the cost of 1 token gives you literally a 30 second ride it's just ridiculous & on top of that some machine just take your tokens for no reason so keep an eye on that The pizza was super expensive $13.99 for a medium (thin cracker crust )and just a waste of money don't get sucked in to buying it you are better off just going for the games then go elsewhere for pizza, that's what we did second time around. I'm so happy with our experience here. I was really worried to go because of all the bad review. My daughter really wanted to go for her birthday, and had asked for weeks... i finally gave in. We went on a Friday night at 5:30. I was sure it was going to be crowded, loud, and awful. I was completely wrong! We got there, everyone got a matching glowing stamp (which the kids were thrilled with) we did combo #5 for our family of 4 and the lady helped us with an online coupon for tokens, so we got 2 stuffed crust pizzas, 2 hours of unlimited play on our cards, 4 soft drinks and 2 beers for $140. We found a nice table in the back and started one card. The kids loved the big giraffe ride and all the cars. For it being a Friday night, there was only maybe 6 other family's there. They got to high five Chuck E. Cheese, and take a picture with the robot one on stage. The food was good, soda bar was clean, all the games worked besides one and while we were there it looked like they were working on fixing it. The staff was helpful and showed us how to pause our card so we would eat and not run out of time. They were constantly walking around sweeping. They had an armed security guard the whole time. I rarely have negative reviews in a restaurant i been going as kid. I been in the restaurant industry for years and I am an assistant manager so when i see something that management needs to work on i will say it. First thing i notice was the whole location was beyond filthy There was no supervision what so ever. The bathrooms were so disgusting that there was a dirty underwear in the boys bathroom. I spoke to management because i had a lot of concerns i spent over 116$ just so i can have crappy service, come to a dirty facility and go to a bathroom that is disgusting. All he can express is That they are short staffed. I thought that was a lousy excuse to tell a guest being in the industry for years. It all start with management making that change and making sure their facility is nice and clean so guest can come back. I won't be coming Back or recommended this location to anyone. Haven't been to a Chuck E Cheese in years but thought it would be a great idea to visit with my little brother to kill some time on a Saturday. Worst idea EVER. I've been to Chuck E Cheese before however I've never in my life been to a Chuck E Cheese with armed security or a 3 hour wait for food! Workers are not very approachable nor willing to help. It's a disaster. The place is also extremely dirty especially in the bathrooms. $30 for an hour of unlimited play. Place does have a large selection of games for all ages but you'll wait in line forever to redeem your tickets. Definitely needs improvement because what I saw on Saturday was a perfect example of horrible management. This place needs a new game plan on how to operate. For the price, it is definitely not worth coming here anymore. Cheap prizes you can buy for less $ at the 99 cent store and basically out of all the prizes anyway. I would avoid this location at all costs though, I still can't get over how Chuck E Cheese had 2 armed security guards. If you value your health, don't eat from the salad bar. read more

Yesterday, my family and friends celebrated my nephew's 1st birthday at the Lancaster chuck e cheese. Everything was awesome and exciting until darkness struck. The overly aggressive security guard named MS. SUMMERS, decided to harass and assault my 6 year old cousin simply because my cousin fetched soda in a water cup. Ms. Summers, grabbed my cousin's cup from her tiny hands, said something mean and threw the child's cup in the trashcan. My cousin ran and begun crying on the floor near the trashbin. I took noticed and asked my little cousin why is she crying, and she explained why. I then reported the incident to the mother of my cousin, and our entire party was upset. I then went to Ms. Summers and i politely asked her to please not snatch items from any child including my cousin and to please consult the child's family or the manager of chuck e cheese if there are concerns involving a child in this establishment. Ms. Summers begun to become very irate, obnoxious and loud and she begun to disrespect me in an embarrassing manner all while in front of other chuck e cheese customers and patrons. I repeatedly kept asking Ms. Summers why is she yelling and saying disgusting things. Summers says I do not owe you abything, I'll do whatever i want and i said to Ms. Summers, no you cannot do whatever you want you have no right to touch peoples property and you have no right to touch people's children. By this time a huge crowd came about, Ms. Summers got into my face and i was afraid she was going to strike me with her hand. My family members came to see why Summers was yelling and acting crazy and Summers begun attacking my family members as well. The chuck e cheese staff came to stop Ms. Summers from attacking me and the male security guards were apologetic about Summers conduct. They gave me her name and urge i file a complaint with their corporate office. The manager of chuck e cheese apologized for Summers behavior and replaced our water cups with regular cups and he also urge we call the corporate office of chuck e cheese and file a complaint against this woman for coming close into my face around all these children and families. This was very embarrassing and unnecessary for Ms. Summers to stage. I was attacked simply by nicely pleading she not touch my cousin in that way ever. Summers said with hostility "YOU PEOPLE MAKE ME SICK". That comment made me feel as though me being African American that my business is not acceptable nor appreciated simply because I'm Black. I am upset and very hurt by this experience. No one should have to experience such blatant racist and obnoxious service anywhere. We spent hundreds of dollars yesterday and visited from Los Angeles. I grew up going to this CEC in the 90's so I can't help but to compare it to then... let's start with the food: The food is overpriced and taste is okay. I asked the lady at the counter if the appetizers come first and she said they come at the same time as the rest of the food-_- so we skipped that and ordered wings instead, sweet chili and got a medium pizza with two drinks. The wait was reasonable and they brought it to our table. They don't have good soda options besides Pepsi. Everything else was a brand I've never heard of. The drinks are all kids size but it's free refills so plan on making many trips to the soda machine. Fairly clean place, I did see some staff members going around sweeping the floors so that's good. So the "show" is every 30 on the hour and so we were excited to see what was in store. To my surprise, it was the tv. Remember the days when Chuck E would come out and you could dance with him?! Or when the gang was there playing? And it was every 30 min? Okay yeah, those days are long gone brother. I hyped my daughter up for nothing. I witnessed parents screaming at their kids,parents letting the kids climb into the basket ball machine and knocking those little clowns down... the ones you're supposed to knock down with a ball. So yes, this place is ghetto as hell. I spoke to the manager to let her know that children where climbing into the games and she said she would talk to them. It's in their hands now. Staff was friendly though. Overall I wouldn't call it a CEC (how we all use to know it before). I'd call it a kids arcade, although they have a tiny little slide that's soooooo greasy... but yeah. No I don't recommend it unless you like thin overpriced pizza and arcade games with cheap prizes. read more

So under-staffed, no wings or salad both times I've been here in the past month. I get why they can't serve salad bar but a lot of items on the menu also not available and a lot of the games aren't working or take your money. All I ordered for food today was a side of cheese sticks and it's been 1 hr 30 min and it's still not here. Where is management? I'm so frustrated but I feel worse for the few workers here working a circus all by themselves. To help these workers out, I don't plan to come back. This is the only location in the AV so it's understandable that it is busy most days. We come about 2-4 times a month and my food is always good and my order is accurate. BUT...today the manager, Cynthia, went above and beyond for us. The games are in good order and clean. The restrooms are for the most part clean and in functional order. They really try to keep the salad bar full, but with such high volumes coming through here of course it runs low to empty some times. I haven't been to this Chuck E Cheese since before it moved locations and since I was young. I took my son there today for the first time, he loves running around but sadden no more ball pit or jungle area for younger kids but just arcade games. My son hated the rideable ones and even the other ones for his age he wasn't interested. I feel it's more directed for older children these days. The pizza was burnt and barely able to eat it.
