Whenever my husband takes my son to Chuck E Cheese's, they have a great time. They don't usually eat pizza and food but they play the arcade games. They do take some photos at the place. The arcade games do mess up, but the employees do care. My son likes to take pictures with the frozen Studio C Alpha bot as well as the walk around. Just when you thought you couldn't have a worse experience... They figured out a way to top it off! I've come to this Chuck E Cheese twice now and I won't be back! How can a business survive on only two employees at the beginning of singer break?! I waited 5 minutes to be checked. They are now interested in taking orders than getting people in the door. Buying a card worth a coupon can only be done at the register. With the one employee who also acts as the prize person, the door person and the food order taker. The other employee is cooking, cleaning and delivering food. There's no way I'd order food here. What a cluster f$ck! There is no longer a play area. Only games that last a minute or less. Yea it's a quarter, but still. Nothing to keep kids entertained very long. So after about a half hour, we waited by the door to be checked out (now don't get me wrong..I love that they have a parent/kid check. Kids run off and it's comforting knowing they aren't being abducted or walk out on their own). BUT.... Waiting for 5 minutes for someone to come check you out when you have small children, is not ok. So I just yelled to the lady at register, holding my granddaughters arm up..she's mine! I can't wait any longer and I started to proceed out the door. She said I couldn't go and I said, "I can't wait any longer. This is ridiculous!" Ain't what it used to be! There aren't any more physical things for toddlers to do. The ball pit is gone. The tubes where small kids would play ARE GONE. It's like taking kids to an overpriced arcade. Pizza was mediocre but I don't think anybody goes there for the food. The TVs plays teen pop songs like they're trying to promote unknown artists. What kid gives a s* about that? And, they play their own commercials now too, how fun. Food is decent, similar to Little Ceasars. Clean and the games were clean as well. But the staff were slow and looked like they didn't want to be there. Not many games for children under 3 so don't come if you kids are that young. Parking is good but most of the parking lights in the l9t are broken so at night it feels a little unsafe. Lots of teenagers hanging out in their cars in the parking lot so didn't feel family friendly. Also alot of the customers seemed like they didn't live in the area so definitely doesnt have an upscale Burbank feel to it. read more

If we keep in mind that it's Chuck E Cheese, and not Tour J'ardet (a fictitious fancy French restaurant I made up), everyone is going to have a great time. This CEC rocks. First, bring coupons. They're on line or in the Sunday paper. While on line, you can play Chuck E Cheese games for points that can be redeemed at the CEC's prize desk. The coupons can save you a ton of dough. Speaking of dough, CEC pizza is not half-bad! Use the pizza, drinks and tokens coupon -- you may find yourself saying "mamma mia" (which I think is what some people say when they are eating good pizza). The salad bar is also respectable here; I always get the "unlimited" salad bar and make a few trips. People-wise, Maritza is your go-to person. She is awesome, and can solve any problem. The games here are in surprisingly good shape, given the pummeling they get from those unsupervised kids who ruin everything for everyone. You know who you are, parents. Get off your phones and engage with your kids. The Deal or No Deal Game is an old stand-by, and the one where a rubber ball is dropped from up high, hopefully into a high-point hole, is a sure-fire ticket winner. As for the prizes, well, they are what they are. Speaking of tickets (which you collect to redeem for prizes), a new slimmed-down Chuck E. himself comes out every hour to do a dance and literally throw tickets all over the place. Corporate really needs to step up in Burbank, Chuck E. Cheese! I'm a local here and come all the time to bring the kids to play and enjoy the food. The experience I experienced today was unreal. After order your food and waiting over an hour, some employees finally decides to call over the voice box food will be taking over an hour long after placing it. Makes no sense to us that have already ordered. What a waste of time. They need to hire employees that care of customer service and kids. Especially if the location is known for this. I really like this specific place. The worker Benjamin is always so accommodating. My family during summer booked a birthday and it was by far the best experience. He made sure our food came right on time, he provided the bday boy with many gifts. There's a lady here who is always so awesome, offers to find coupons and save you money. Plus their menu has changed. Yeah not the best pizza on planet earth but it's pretty good. Oh and did I mention they sale Wine!!! Turn up chuck. They are also one of the locations that offers Sensory Sundays. Today I went to Chuck E. Cheese cause it was my cousins birthday. To be honest the new card ticket thing is sad cause it all digital now. Anyways the food was okay the pizza was served to us and it was great! The cost for a birthday is $99 for 6 kids which is decent also it comes with 2 hours of play time. Like it's okay I guess? I also read that the games payouts are cheaper now, I played a SpongeBob game it's all the way in the back like it spits out cards and u can redeem em so! That requires skill but once u get the hang of it it's easy. That's the only game that's worth your time and also the ball game like the blue small balls i don't have the pictures but yea! The place is good and has free refills which is nice the works are pretty nice and are helpful. The boys bathroom was clean when I went in there but a little smelly I mean it's a bathroom so what u expect right. Anyways I had a blast today there the SpongeBob game if u like milk out the cards the machine will show an error code I did it by accident and they just added more cards. This Chuck E. Cheese location is amazing. We just had our daughter's 5th birthday party here and it was honestly the best party ever. Brianna was incredibly helpful answering every question we had to get our party organized. She was there during our party too and made sure everything was going well the entire time. Our host was Jackie and she was wonderful. She kept everything on track and was so nice. She set up the food, cake, dip n dots... it was just so awesome!!! I can deal with the long lines employees throwing my food but where I draw the line is having the kids throw balls and hitting my disabled client! Parents take no accountability for there child's actions and do to not enough staff they can't control there kids. Now this happened twice I tried to get support from the employees but nobody is at the register so I tracked down the employee and get attacked by the parent again. This can talk in my normal voice and I am considered to be loud! The manger is in the back and says well I said for you to come get me so what would you like me to do jump over the counters as there are no employees. Can't talk to the lazy over entitled parent who doesn't want to deal with their children and watches balls being thrown at other people. I am just so glad that my client didn't react!Thank god there are video cameras and trust me I am going to be talking to an attorney! I went today during the day, perfect timing, all kids were in school and had the place to ourselves. However, many locations have closed down, so therefore I had to do a drive. The food quality was bad, since everything was over priced. Little Caesar pizza is much better. Also, Chuck came out for a bit and was not friendly to the few kids (6)were there. My nephew was excited for him to be out just for him to be cold, distant and not attentive. He was literally out for less than 5 mins. Sadly to say I won't be returning. I'll take my nephew somewhere else where is worth and can have more fun . Also, the most important, there was no one at the exit. Although is slow, I believe there should always have someone at the exit, to be cautious and protective. Honestly I use to come to this location as a kid myself & I thought it was the coolest place to be. I brought my daughter. Couple times when she was younger & I remember have the WORST experience ever so I said "I'm never coming back" Tonight by chance a friend asked us to come out to this location so the kids could have a play date .. Tonight was the complete opposite .. we were lucky enough to have NICA be our host, she helped us pick a combo of food that was perfect size for our party avoid us any excess costs. On the floor she was quick to have people assist us when the tickets ran out on a couple games. This visit, was my toddlers first visit to chuk-E-cheese so naturally we were excited. The service was horrible. I placed my order at 4:25pm and purchased a 30 min pass. I figured while the food is cooking my son can distract himself and play a little so he can build up an appetite. We played and redeemed our tickets. We proceeded to the table where my wife was sitting and we were surprise to see no pizza there. I went up where the "pick food" area was at and they told me it would be "5-10min" 10 min passed and I went to check on food and the lady told me that it was just going in the oven. If you are a person who has a toddler you will understand that 50 min after the order was placed was totally unacceptable. I requested a full refund and went to Costco down the street where my toddler ate an entire pizza and hotdog. The poor kid was starving thanks to that rat. Do not book your parties here!! Run the other way. It was my first and last time I will ever have a party here. Long story short they were probably understaffed but still wanted to have a FULL party schedule. There was no salad bar everything was empty, no drinks were working at the soda fountain, our party was scheduled at 530 we didn't get our food until 7 pm! The food was pre ordered and supposed to be ready when you arrive to your party, it wasn't. They never brought out the wings I had pre-ordered when I booked my party but they decided that when my guests were done eating and were having cake that then would be the time to bring the wings out. I cancelled them and that seemed to upset the manager. Mind you I paid my full amount of money yet got the worst service you can imagine. I called back Monday after the party to express my concerns I was told that the regional manager Octavio would be giving me a call. I waited over a week with no call back, I had to call back two times to get any kind of response. In summary this is the WORST customer service ive ever experienced. Even the regional manager Octavio seems to busy to care about customer service he never reached out to me. I know that business have bad days like anyone, its the lack of communication that sent me over the edge. A simple phone call before my party would have been nice, a simple "heads up" so that I know what is to be expected. Now before you get all Hateraid on me, hear me out. Kids are wonderful. They are cute, they ask silly questions, they will carry a bottle of wine over to the table for you, in other words, they have many uses. But as a single girl, without youngins of her own, my tolerance is...well, it's not so high most of the time, especially when they are screaming and shrieking and throwing pizza at you (seriously, little kid in the blue sweatshirt with the cow lick, was that really necessary?!) Anyhoo, with all of that said, this is a wonderland for loud children to scream, play, yell, cry and yes, throw pizza in. The games are loud, the pizza is absolutely horrific and the beer, yeah, even the beer is terrible. So what is the point of coming here you may be thinking? Easy, parental units need a break and it appears to me that this is like group therapy for flustered parents. In the two times I've been here for birthday parties, I've witnessed the bonding and shoulder to cry on parenting activities and while I'm not a parent, I get it. You need the sweet relief even if it comes in the form of crappy pizza and pitchers of cruddy beer. So for that, this place deserves a few stars thrown its way. Came to Wing Stop for 50¢ wings and we saw this Chuckie Cheese and were like ooh that sounds good. I used to come as a kid and have fond memories of their pizza being simple but so good! First off this location looks ghetto comparatively to other locations at least on the outside. We came in to order cheese pizza $10 size that comes with 10 slices. So the girl who helped us was so nice and friendly which is the ONLY REASON this is getting a 2 star and not 1 star. Service is not the issue, the quality of the pizza is my issue. She did warn us before we order that they had recently changed their pizzas to being thicker crust now.... This was kind of a red flag but she said that she thought it was a good change (nice sales tactic). We left to go put our wing order in at wing stop and she told us 15 minutes it would be ready. I came back 20 minutes later and it was ready to go. Quick prompt service. However when we all had our first slice... 3 of us eating it. ALL 3 of us had the same "eww, yuck" response. The new change they have made to the pizza completely alter it!!! SO SAD. It tasted more like a waste of calories then screw it I know it's bad but it tastes soooo good we were hoping for. Instead of feeling like $10 for pizza what a deal, we all felt like this was a $10 disappointment. So bummed! I can honestly say this scarred my great memories as a kid. I definitely won't be returning probably ever unless they return to making their pizza the old way. Look I get it if you have kids, it's a fun place for kids.
