What a fun place for kids! We have been here many times and have always enjoyed ourselves. This place is clean, organized, and has just enough things to entertain kids of all ages without it feeling too overwhelming. I also appreciate the appropriately priced lunch boxes they offer - they are a lifesaver and something that doesn't feel overpriced for what you get (a rarity in a place like this). Highly recommend visiting! I often bring my laptop and work while kids play. It's great! Shoutout to Bree, one of the workers, who is just amazing and so on top of things. Fantastic job!

Great place for kids to let loose and have fun! Lots of slides, claw machines, bumper cars and jungle gyms to play with.

We had a great experience at Kids Empire! Anna was so helpful, kind, and attentive the whole time. She made everything run smoothly and really went above and beyond to make sure the kids had a fun and safe experience. It's always nice to come across someone who genuinely cares thank you, Anna! We'll definitely be back

Bright play structure with giant slides.

Our 5-year-old Sweet Granddaughter begged for us to take her to Kids Empire on Mother's Day after we'd had brunch with her parents. They had something they needed to do, and asked if we were okay taking SG for the afternoon. We had other plans in mind, but it was hot, and air conditioning was appealing, so we went with the indoor play idea. We were a little surprised at the pricing, but it's pay for one child, and two adults are included in the $24 fee. Dear Hubby and I are not at the stage of life where we are going to join in with climbing and sliding as a few of the parents did, so we spent our time hanging out at one of the plentiful tables. It wasn't super-comfortable for us, but we did get to enjoy the cool air. If I'd brought in a cell phone charger, I probably could have found an outlet for powering up the trusty mobile. Meanwhile, after filling out the clunky online waiver of liability for each of us, and acquiring pairs of socks, we were able to stash our shoes in tote bags and get inside the large inside space. That is the protocol - no outdoor shoes are allowed in the main area. The multi-story play zone is at the back of the large space. It's geared to kids mostly kindergarten-age and up. There are various ways for the kids to climb up to the top level. Once there they can negotiate various ways to get around, like rope nets and such. Then they can whoosh down on very large slides. One has bumps and the other is smooth. They are pitched to an angle that offers a very rapid descent. Warning - this produces a lot of shrieking from the kids. DH even took off his hearing aids while we were hanging out waiting for SG to have her fill of play. The high pitched screaming sounds were definitely a factor. It is a loud place to be! They also have dance music playing at a high volume. After we were done with the sensory overload, we were ready to go be in a quiet place for a while to decompress. There were the obligatory birthday parties going on in the main gathering space. It would be quite expensive to have anything more than a few kids attending a party here. All the more so because they don't any any outside food or drink. Likely, they have packages to bring in soda and pizza, as that's what we saw being served. Am hoping that SG is over it for a long while, as I wouldn't hurry back. I do endorse that she had the most fun in the ball pit and also building with oversized Lego-type bricks. Glad that she enjoyed herself.

Look around before booking - there are a ton of cleaner, cuter options. Not worth it for the tiny space, super awkward seating / table seating for adults (cramped to the back with zero view of the kids) and serious lack of play options. Ghost town; rarely any kids there for open play. Tiny ball pit has like 3 balls, it's all floor, an injury waiting to happen. And randomly, they have large pieces of VR equipment that take up an enormous amount of space. They sit there with DO NOT TOUCH signs collecting dust - gaudy and oddly out of place against a young children's atmosphere. Management and front desk are dispirited and dead-eyed, probably due to overhead and lack of business even after their so-called "remodeling". But definitely not the type of energy you'd want kids around either. Unfortunately, cost comes no where close to reflecting the value provided. Customer is charged extra to make up for their empty tables.

We were able to book the space with little notice (even with 80 guests!) and the team went above and beyond with table settings, decorations and support, making our daughter's "Under the Sea" birthday a smash success. There is ample parking, lots of tables and chairs for adults and kids alike, and the coolest play area we've seen in town. It's filled with activities for littles (12M+) to big kids - and even arcade games in the back. It's deceptively large and endless fun. We cannot wait to return!

The place on the whole isn't that big, which isn't a terrible thing. We came here on a weeknight and it was pretty chill! There was one little girl who was having her birthday here but it was still open for other kids to play. It's always a good idea to call before you come though to check! A lot of the indoor playgrounds I have been to all seem very similar, but it was nice to see some very different slides and activities here! The tube slide was AWESOME, I just wish there was a way to get the tubes easily up the stairs or back up the ramp so mom's and dad's wouldn't have to schlep them up there. I was SWEATING because of course my son wanted to go again and again! Everything was clean and in relatively good condition. I liked that they had some dress up items for the kiddos. Though it is a more narrow space, there was plenty of space for the kids to climb and explore. I did not love that they had arcade games in the back, specifically one with giant machine guns. Is that appropriate for a children's indoor playground? I brought my kid here to go on slides and bounce on a trampoline, not shoot aliens with a giant machine gun. The whole place is so cute with animals hanging from the ceiling and murals on the walls but the video games take away from that cute and innocent aesthetic. Food for thought for management!

Not a pleasant experience, especially when you're trying to celebrate a 3-year-old's birthday…read more We called ahead and spoke to the owner Lucine, who told us the soft play area had a private party but the arcade and kart racing were open to the public. We called again when we were 30 minutes out to ask about height requirements. Our call was missed -- and they called us back, so they had our number. We drove from Simi Valley to Sherman Oaks to find the entire place shut down for a private event. When we arrived, Lucine informed us that the party had upgraded their package, which resulted in the entire venue being booked. They had time to make signs for the party but couldn't take two minutes to call us back and save us the trip. Or save my 3-year-old the disappointment. When I said I'd be sharing my experience, Lucine handed over free passes -- then asked if I'd still be leaving a review. That told me everything about the gesture. It wasn't an apology. It was damage control. We may give them another chance, but this visit was sloppy and unprofessional. Call ahead if you're planning a trip. And maybe call twice. Edit to add: I already noted in my original review that an attempt was made to remedy the situation -- bringing it up again here with a dollar figure attached feels more like a rebuttal than a genuine response. For accuracy, what was offered to my three children was two rides and an arcade card each. I'd also push back on the characterization that it was 'gladly accepted.' When you're walking out the door disappointed with three kids, accepting something in the moment isn't the same as feeling made whole. As for the 155 five-star reviews -- a business that opened in September with 155 Google reviews but only 21 on other platforms raises valid questions. That kind of gap doesn't happen organically. It happens when customers are specifically directed to one platform. An honest review is not an attack. I shared our experience so other families can make informed decisions, and I stand by every word of it.
