This place is so cute!!! It was over a hundred yesterday and we were trying to find a fun place for our toddler (and ourselves) to get some energy out. They have three main features: arcade, soft play area, and the go-karts. They also have a little lounge area at the front and a small snack bar (chips, juice, soda, etc). The arcade machines were limited but very fun - included a little carousel that our kid loved. Softplay area was great, our kid was doing loops, going on the little swing, into the ball pit, going down the large slide. Go karts were very fun, they let you go around many times, which makes the cost per round definitely feel worth it! Overall, it's a great spot, wasn't overly crowded (we came on a Sunday just as a private party was finishing up), and the staff was all incredibly kind and accommodating. Definitely call ahead before you go (they recommend it too) to make sure there isn't a private event. And there was plenty of parking down the side alley/lot behind the location. read more

If you want to have a blast for a birthday party Kartpoia is the place to book that party. We did our daughters 8th birthday party at Kartopia and it truly is amazing. They have claw machines, bowling, arcade games, prizes and best part go carts. Even the Grandmas raced with the go carts. Amazing staff, clean and the best place to do a kids birthday where everyone truly enjoys the venue. Thank you Kartopia and entire staff for making my daughter's birthday unforgettable. read more

Not a pleasant experience, especially when you're trying to celebrate a 3-year-old's birthday. We called ahead and spoke to the owner Lucine, who told us the soft play area had a private party but the arcade and kart racing were open to the public. We called again when we were 30 minutes out to ask about height requirements. Our call was missed -- and they called us back, so they had our number. We drove from Simi Valley to Sherman Oaks to find the entire place shut down for a private event. When we arrived, Lucine informed us that the party had upgraded their package, which resulted in the entire venue being booked. They had time to make signs for the party but couldn't take two minutes to call us back and save us the trip. Or save my 3-year-old the disappointment. When I said I'd be sharing my experience, Lucine handed over free passes -- then asked if I'd still be leaving a review. That told me everything about the gesture. It wasn't an apology. It was damage control. We may give them another chance, but this visit was sloppy and unprofessional. Call ahead if you're planning a trip. And maybe call twice. Edit to add: I already noted in my original review that an attempt was made to remedy the situation -- bringing it up again here with a dollar figure attached feels more like a rebuttal than a genuine response. For accuracy, what was offered to my three children was two rides and an arcade card each. I'd also push back on the characterization that it was 'gladly accepted.' When you're walking out the door disappointed with three kids, accepting something in the moment isn't the same as feeling made whole. As for the 155 five-star reviews -- a business that opened in September with 155 Google reviews but only 21 on other platforms raises valid questions. That kind of gap doesn't happen organically. It happens when customers are specifically directed to one platform. An honest review is not an attack. I shared our experience so other families can make informed decisions, and I stand by every word of it. read more

We celebrated our son Atlas's 6th birthday at Kartopia, and it was such an amazing experience! The kids had an absolute blast racing, and the entire party felt exciting, organized, and special. The staff was friendly, patient, and wonderful with the children, which made everything so much easier for us as parents. Atlas felt like a real race-car driver and couldn't stop smiling! If your child loves cars and racing, Kartopia is a fantastic place for a birthday party. We would absolutely come back--highly recommend! read more

We brought our 4-year-old and had such a great time. This place is incredibly clean, well-run, and packed with things young kids can actually do. The go-karts, arcade games, and soft play area were all perfect for his age -- he was able to do everything without feeling left out or too little. The staff was kind, patient, and made sure he was safe and confident on every ride. The soft play area is super fun and well-designed, and the arcade had a great variety for little ones. It's rare to find a place where a 4-year-old can enjoy every single activity, but Kartopia nailed it. We will definitely be back! read more

We hosted our six-year-old's birthday here and it was fantastic from start to finish. The party package covered everything, and they truly created an experience that was fun for both the kids and the adults. Everyone had an amazing time. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The atmosphere never felt rushed or impersonal. The go-karts were an absolute hit, and the kids were still talking about them long after the party ended. What really stood out was how smoothly everything was organized. Communication was clear, planning was easy, and the entire day was completely stress-free. We celebrated my nephew's 7th birthday at Kartopia last week, and it was absolutely fantastic! The kids had a blast racing around and playing to their hearts' content--the joy on their faces said it all. The staff went above and beyond to make the day special, treating us with such kindness and care. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. The facility is spotless and feels incredibly safe, which gave us peace of mind as the kids explored. And it's not just for little ones--adults can unwind too! Brought our group of boys on a rainy day and Kartopia did not disappoint! There was something to do for all ages. The cars were a hit especially for our 4 year old! For the smaller kids they offer booster seats which I thought was really cool. The parents even had their own round to drive which was fun. The staff was super friendly and the place was very clean. Kartopia was AMAZING! We had such an incredible experience, and my kids had the best time ever. This was our second time visiting and still blown away. From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly, organized, and so great with kids. The place is clean, fun, and perfectly set up for families. The go-karts were a huge hit my kids couldn't stop smiling and talking about it afterward. Everything felt safe, well-run, and exciting. It was honestly one of the best experiences we've had for a kids' outing/party. If you're looking for a place where your kids will have an unforgettable time, Kartopia is it. We will 100% be coming back. Highly recommend! read more

My 6 and 3 yo had so much fun here. My oldest got to race on the track and also played with my youngest in the soft play area. They both also played arcade games (entrance is free and you purchase separate coins for each activity: race, arcade and soft play with packages avail). The place is pristinely clean which I am very particular about. Everything looks brand new as they opened just a few months ago. We didn't get to try everything out like the cute bowing game but we will come back for sure. What I especially appreciated was the warm service from the staff; it's clear this is a family run establishment. My son said he wants to come back every weekend;) read more

Kartopia - Go karts - Indoor Playcenter Near Me - San Fernando Valley, California

My son's 11th birthday party at Kartopia this past weekend was truly unforgettable! When the party ended, he told me it was the best birthday he's ever had, and that says it all. What makes it even more impressive is that this was a last-minute decision planned within just three days. The entire process was incredibly easy and completely stress-free. From start to finish, the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming to all of our guests. They were helpful from the moment we arrived to set up, throughout the event while cutting the cake and making sure everything ran smoothly, and even at the end when it was time to clean up and pack up. The venue itself was spotless and well organized. We chose the unlimited arcade and go-kart package, and it was hands down the best decision (aside from choosing this venue!). Not having kids constantly running up to parents to reload game cards made such a difference. The kids were able to play nonstop, which allowed the adults to relax and actually enjoy the party too. Beyond the arcade and go-karts, they also have a kiddie play area for the little ones and even a pool table for the adults...there was truly something for everyone. Kartopia is fun, clean, safe, and exceptionally well run. We all had an amazing time. Thank you for making this my son's best birthday party ever! read more

What a new, fun kid's place in LA! A lot of the new indoor playgrounds are small in size and made more for toddlers. It's so hard finding a place that is able to entertain the older kids also at the same time! But not here at Kartopia. From real life car races, to soft play, to a trampoline, to bowling, to video games! This playground meets the needs of all ages of your kids and is a perfect one stop shop to make sure the whole family is having fun. They also offer a wide array of snacks and other concessions. It's clean and well maintained, with the friendliest and most inclusive staff. My nephew is on the spectrum and the owners were there during our time of visit. The whole staff was so mindful. friendly, and ready to help or answer any questions at a whim's notice. It's as if they took extra time to make sure my kiddo was doing alright and was having fun. He wouldn't let go of a bike at the end before leaving and the owner, Arthur gave it to us for free. That's what type of humans this establishment in run by! Just genuinely good hearted people who are in it for the kids and for the love of kids having fun and living their childhood to the fullest. I'm grateful for people like them and for safe and fun places like this for our little ones. Can't stop raving about this place to everyone with kids!! Try it out for yourself and see :) read more

Awesome place for kids. My son usually comes here with the Lunch Group (Dr. Bruce) as part of the social recreation time. It spacious and very clean. My son loves the gocarts! Even my 4 year old was able to do it. It's fully electric, gas free, and just loads of fun. I did mention that if they had more arcades it would just make this place even more amazing. They told me that's the next step. Definitely considering this place for a birthday party. read more

Super amazing!! I went with my little brother for his birthday! the workers were so nice and gave us more than they should've !

We just went here last weekend for a birthday party and were blown away! Kids birthday party places are usually pretty filthy but this place was immaculate. The owners and staff could not have been kinder and the space is set up perfectly for all ages. The go-karts are electric so no smelly fumes and they take safety seriously. Our son had a ball and so did we. We ended up staying an extra hour after the party was over because we were having so much fun! Thankfully it's not just for bday parties so we will be back soon! read more
