We celebrated my child's birthday at this playground. To be honest, the only thing we liked were the nice colors. Everything else was disappointing. We chose the Golden package. 1. The package said it included 3 large pizzas, but they only brought 2. 2. It also said that children would receive special socks, but there were no socks at all. 3. The trash bags were overflowing. 4. The package promised 3 helpers, but there was only one, and she never smiled. 5. The prices on the website did not match the prices they showed us at the location. 6. We arranged balloons in advance, but they were not there on the day of the party. 7. Forty minutes before the end of the party, the owner, who was also working there, suggested removing the food. I expressed my dissatisfaction because the guests were still sitting and eating. 8. The playground itself was not clean. 9. Before we even started cutting the cake, she removed the children's tables. My question is: where were the kids supposed to eat the cake? I will never come back there again and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I really regret choosing this place and regret not researching it properly before the party. read more

I do not recommend this place. First of all, the girl at the front desk is extremely rude and completely uninterested in anything. Secondly, the place is very dirty. My child came in wearing white socks, and within five minutes, they turned black. There is no music, no water, nothing at all -- just an empty space. On top of that, they charge $20 for two hours. Visited on a gloomy rainy day for open play. The playground is relatively new, therefore clean, modern feel, and well maintained. The activities in the play structure were nice and catered to a wider age of children, allowing for the older ones (ages 10-12) to also engage, specifically with the bouncing trampolines, and interactive video screen. It's smaller than some others we have been to, but also cozy for a smaller group or smaller party. There is a great bakery next door, where you can get snacks or lunch, and bring to the playground while you enjoy open play. Nice addition to the Burbank hillside neighborhood. read more

2 hour time limit? Lol! They just tried to scam me for more money bc we were there longer. My friends and I have stayed much longer in the past and was never told about this time limit. What a joke! Plus it's small and unsanitary. They allow kids to be barefoot. And no one is cleaning or spraying the tables after people leave. Babies put balls in their mouth after barefoot kids are stepping all over them. Talk about getting a case of hands mouth and foot disease or worse. The girl up front is lazy and never cleans or does anything. Then she tried to scam me for more money by telling me that I have to pay as I was leaving. What a joke. FYI none of my friends know about this time limit and I have never been to any indoor playground with one. Go to another indoor playground like Kidztopia. It's $25/child and it's bigger with more to do, more sanitary, NO TIME LIMIT, they give socks, and they're cleaning often. Don't get scammed by this place and pay extra. Go somewhere else! read more

We recently hosted my son's graduation party at this play place, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the staff was helpful, attentive, and very nice. They made the entire process easy and stress-free -- from booking to setup to clean-up. The facility itself was safe, and kept the kids entertained. I celebrated my daughter's second birthday here and was especially pleased with how clean the playground was and how attentive the staff was. This place is awesome. We attended a birthday there and were so impressed with how much there was for the kids to do- lots of trampolines and foam pits. I saw a climbing wall and a velcro wall too. This place is new and therefore pristine. Also there were plenty of people there working, both to keep the kids safe as well as make sure the foam pits were filled and ball pit balls weren't all over the place. They also cleaned the tables up and so forth. There were two bathrooms that were cleaned and stocked with all the necessary kid stuff. The seating is such that you can see your child relatively easily. Needless to say, the kids had an absolute blast. I will definitely take them back. read more

Took my kiddo and her cousins to this place. It's so clean and fun for kids of all ages. My toddler had a blast, but my niece who's much older enjoyed it also. Paid per kid during the week for two hours of play, which is normal for all indoor playgrounds that I have been to in and around Burbank. Well not the best honestly because the lady who sits there on that day we went first time brought her kids and they were literally playing outside of the playground area with the ball which they were throwing near the tables. My family and I have visited Recess Playhouse on many occasions since they have opened. Every time we are there, our children have a great time. The playground is well kept and always clean. The staff is very nice and welcoming every time we visit. We were able to host a birthday party for my nephew here a month ago and everything went smoothly. The prices for open play and private parties are more than fair when compared to all the other playhouses. I love this play place for so many reasons, for starters it's very clean, modern and has new and exciting playground equipment. It's the perfect size for small gatherings and allows parents to sit back and watch their kids with ease knowing their kids are easily able to be seen. we visit playcentres often for our toddlers and this place is lovely. super clean and wonderful staff. the play area is well maintained and set out to allow for ease of play as well as interaction between the children. a safe play area for tots with lots of soft foam pits and safety guards on equipment. my 3 year is of had a great time and was able to make some friends whilst at the same time giving mom a break with a nice complimentary coffee and rest while not being too far away! definitely worth a visit. read more
