My daughter and I absolutely love this place. I have taken her here for several events - special events, open play, etc. - and she has the best time. Our favorite is the monthly princess tea parties. Saw that this just opened on a Mommy's Group on Facebook so I wanted to take my daughter here. It's in Burbank and we were meeting a friend for lunch there, so after an hour of playing in the park, I took my daughter here for play for another hour before lunch. We parked outside on the street. First off, I like that this place is open on the weekends. Secondly, this is more of a dress up/play vs indoor gym that has kids running around. So if you wanted a more calm day, this place is great. It's clean, it has some fun and interactive toys and an arts and crafts area. This was great for my daughter because she got to draw, decorate a pumpkin and use whatever crayons/markers she desired. We banned crayons at home after she drew all over the walls. There's also a little train/cars set that she played with. She's a little young for some of the stuff, but we'll definitely be back. This is by far the cutest little venue. I appreciate the size because every little girl had an opportunity to spend a little time with Snow White. The staff were so sweet and inviting, and Snow White didn't break character! She was amazing, and her voice was SPOT ON! The play areas were beyond what I expected. To be honest, I was holding back tears watching my daughter enjoying my favorite Disney character. I highly recommend this place. 1000/10. read more

What a lovely place! I heard such great things about Castle & Crown and was so grateful to have been able to experience today with their Music & Movement class. I took my son Bradley on a playdate with my neighbor's son. I like to come check new indoor playgrounds for my son to explore. As you first enter, it's like you enter a storybook. A lot of pink and princess themes. I was a little unsure if my son would like it here initially, because I've only taken him to places where it was more physically active than pretend play. My son is the typical boy who loves his monster trucks and cars so I really wasn't sure if this place would be something he would be into. However, after arriving here, I let my son explore and then right away my son left me and made his way to the pirate set. He also had a great time playing with the train set. And I saw him wandering around the different sets. I think what sets Castle & Crown differently, is that it focuses more on being a child and letting their imagination run wild. The kids get to play pretend and create what they want. They get to explore and use their creativity. Also, the set design is not your factory pretend play sets. You can tell they were custom built. I also like that each station has a theme that flows on to the next theme. In other places I've been, all their pretend play is just random and doesn't go together. I feel like there is a nice flow. And it doesn't matter if you have a boy or girl, there is something for all genders to enjoy. At the end of the day, my son did not want to leave. Amber that works the front desk was absolutely amazing and made the experience more magical. You can tell she truly wanted the kids to have a good experience. On top of that, I get to relax and catch up on work knowing my son can't really hurt himself or having to chase him around an obstacle course. Also they have some cute costumes in the front which I was able to check out. The quality of the clothes are high quality. Also did they can host parties, which is cool. Anyway I couldn't say enough good words about this place. Come check it out. read more

My girls are 6 and 3.5 and had a blast checking out this new spot with lots of mermaid and princess themed things. The staff was very friendly and they also did art projects. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Retail section is cute with an area for parents to relax too. Birthday party packages seem highly overpriced ($1000 for 10 kids?!) but maybe will get adjusted - I just paid ~ $550 for 30 kids at Junior Gym and Gymboree for our last two parties. Megan helped us host the best birthday party at Castle and Crown. My daughter still talks about her party there. There were also hosts there who helped us set-up. They were kind and helped make sure the party ran smoothly, helped pass out drinks, and made it a stress-free experience. It was great! They also have great music and toddler classes! read more

This place is magical! My 2 year old had so much fun in music class and exploring the wonderful set up they have. It is a little girl's paradise. Everything is so clean and beautiful. There is plenty of space to play and sit for crafts and snacks. My 5 yo son would love the wooden train set and pirate ship, the kitchen space ((they should include dressup costumes for boys too;) My daughter absolutely loved the little play rooms and dolls. Megan and Mary are lovely and I can't wait to go back. Really, the attention to detail which I value very much, as well as the thoughtfulness to the space reflects the obvious joy and passion the owner dedicates to this charming little gem. Decided to try this new play place with my almost 3 year old and what a hit. He loved all the different rooms and activities in each one. And the pony you can ride around was an instant hit! My kids had a blast there. Everything was super clean, it wasn't overly packed when we went in to play, and the staff was really kind. My daughters spent hours riding the horses and exploring the various play spaces. I'm 100 percent going to look into having my child's birthday there with our Los Angeles family. I chatted with the owner and she impressed me with all the options available, plus she was accommodating about specific requests (such as having an Armenian red/blue/orange theme for the table). We went during the soft opening and I loved it! I have two boys - 7 and a half and 5 and they also loved the space. Both are super energetic and have huge imaginations and when they realized the space was open play - they jumped right in. I found them crafting and stacking blocks to create obstacle courses for the unicorns that they could ride. The attention to detail in each themed area is a starting point for imagination which is our favorite type of play place.
