Updated review, I decided to give this place another shot since it was literally last minute my husband and I decided to throw our son a birthday party. My sister helped plan everything but it was a breeze. Head count check. The most amazing thing about this place is that they dont charge for adults unlike other places we have booked before. Kids however are the only ones accounted for with the pizza and drinks but that didn't mean we couldn't order additional pizzas or bring our own food! it was great, kids had a great time, basically having the rooms to ourselves and then at the end, we are greeted by the staff who have set up the room for our use. No complaints here.

Amazing service and friendly employees. I will highly recommend this place to celebrate kids birthday parties.

Here I was trying yo take a Picture of my daughter and big kids (teens) just started rushing towards jumpers in the dark.

There was no supervision at all.. There were teenagers trampling over my 3 year old.. The lights went off and everyone was going crazy..... There were adults in trampoline and big kids ridding the little cars and didn't let the little ones play. There were big kids being mean to my daughter and nobody was watching them..

I recently had my daughters 2nd Birthday party at the Van Nuys location. It cost me a little under $600 dollars for a two hour experience. What I got for that price was admission for 15 children, food, and drink. Plus I added the glow room which was a cool experience with jump and climb equipment in a dark room. The floor and some parts of the equipment was glow in the dark. They offer a lot add-ons to packages and variety of packages to choose from. $515 being the cheapest package. It is more expensive to host a party on a weekend. The customer service was ok I made the reservation and had to call a lot before reaching a person. The building has it's own independent space with a private parking area for you and your guest no need to search for parking major plus. Once I arrived the staff was great. I scored low due to A/C wasn't cool enough for the space it was hot. The paint and decor was chipped and out dated. For what you pay the decor should be much better. A lot of the equipment was showing wear and tear which wasn't appealing to the eye close up. The kids did enjoy it! You can create invitations and email them to your guest they have four nice templates easy to use online English and Spanish. Your guest can RSVP and sign wavier through the email invite loved that. I'm hoping they do some updating of the appearance to match the price but I do recommend it. The kids had a wonderful time! I have no regrets.

We had a birthday party for the kids, and the staff were kind and attentive. The second dark trampoline room were a big hit with the kids.

The front desk staff were very nice. We were visiting LA, and the administration gave us a great option for a 2-hour play session.

Ask the Community - Pump It Up Van Nuys

Do any of you remember how many tables are in the party room just for the basic package? Is it four? And what comes with it-- do I need to bring tablecloths plates or cups? Thanks so much❤️ Trying to call the place but they don't answer the phone.

I'm so sorry we missed your call. Each party room has 4 seating tables. You do not need to bring tablecloths but can if you desire. As far as utensils go you only need worry about the adults. Outside soda/drinks are not allowed (water ok) but we do… Read more

The arcade is relatively small, but the bumper car area is quite spacious and doubles as a skating rink after 8 PM until closing, which only allows for about two hours of skating. The pricing is reasonable overall, though the skating entrance fee feels a bit steep. Arcade games are fairly priced, and the bumper car sessions offer good value. There's a dedicated seating area, but the snack bar is currently limited to just chips. Hopefully, they'll expand the menu in the future. In the meantime, it seems like bringing your own food is an option. The hallway leading to the restrooms is well-designed, and the bathrooms themselves are impressively high-tech, with some featuring two sinks on opposite sides, an interesting touch. I haven't visited with my kids yet, but it looks like we'll be making a trip soon. The real test will be whether they enjoy it. On a positive note, there's plenty of parking available on the side. Since it's only been open for about a week, it's worth giving it some time to develop.

We were able to book the space with little notice (even with 80 guests!) and the team went above and beyond with table settings, decorations and support, making our daughter's "Under the Sea" birthday a smash success. There is ample parking, lots of tables and chairs for adults and kids alike, and the coolest play area we've seen in town. It's filled with activities for littles (12M+) to big kids - and even arcade games in the back. It's deceptively large and endless fun. We cannot wait to return!

The place on the whole isn't that big, which isn't a terrible thing. We came here on a weeknight and it was pretty chill! There was one little girl who was having her birthday here but it was still open for other kids to play. It's always a good idea to call before you come though to check! A lot of the indoor playgrounds I have been to all seem very similar, but it was nice to see some very different slides and activities here! The tube slide was AWESOME, I just wish there was a way to get the tubes easily up the stairs or back up the ramp so mom's and dad's wouldn't have to schlep them up there. I was SWEATING because of course my son wanted to go again and again! Everything was clean and in relatively good condition. I liked that they had some dress up items for the kiddos. Though it is a more narrow space, there was plenty of space for the kids to climb and explore. I did not love that they had arcade games in the back, specifically one with giant machine guns. Is that appropriate for a children's indoor playground? I brought my kid here to go on slides and bounce on a trampoline, not shoot aliens with a giant machine gun. The whole place is so cute with animals hanging from the ceiling and murals on the walls but the video games take away from that cute and innocent aesthetic. Food for thought for management!

I went on 1/11/26, and both my car and my friend's car were broken into while we were inside. When we reported it, employees told us that there are no cameras covering all parking areas, which meant there was little to no help or accountability. If you choose to come here, be extremely careful where you park, especially after dark, and do not leave anything in your car. While the experience inside was fine, the lack of parking lot security is a serious issue.

Fast forward to last Sunday, 6/5/25: we were invited to one of my 7-year-old's best friend's party. Nothing was ready or on time. But besides that, the overall place of Skyzone in general still sucks. Floors are dirtier, and bathrooms are still as filthy as before, even the party bathrooms that are located upstairs. Supposed to be nice and clean for party guests, but it is not. Walls are dirty, there's piss on the floor, and there's toilet paper everywhere. That's not to mention the outdated playground where there are random nails or equipment ripping off that could seriously hurt someone if they land on it. This place is a nightmare, and I never come here. Showing up for the party was questionable; I almost did not go because of how this place is. I don't recommend it to anyone. I never bring my kiddos here even if they do have some fun here, hence the 2 stars. Food is overpriced as well; 6 dollars for soda? Water? I left for 7-Eleven to buy water and chips for less than 1 bottle of water from here. Plus they advertise hot food but can't make it. It's because their oven is broken. Like, what? I'm sorry, but this place really is not all that great. I don't get the hype, but based on reviews, there seem to be plenty of people who are not happy here. Especially those who throw parties, and the party host who threw the party here had her own issues with how everything went, but that's for her to write a review on. As for me. I won't come here unless I really need to. Also my son lost his glasses here, I called multiple times and even left a voicemail and guess what? No return call.
