So much fun:)

I love this fun gem, the games actually make you win a lot of jackpots. I add $30 each to my 3 kids and we have an epic time... toys are the best for the tickets you win. I recommend them 100%. Family owned and clean place:)

This is by far the best arcade I've ever gone to. It is impeccably clean because they don't allow food and the machine games are super fun and INCREDIBLY generous with their prizes. The management is some of the nicest and most thoughtful I've ever met and it is an all around amazing experience. The staff are super nice and very personal and thoughtful. The manager (an older man) showed us how to put money on our cards and there is extra money the higher you go ($50, free $10, $100, free $25). He was super kind and told us all about the center and you can even ask him how to beat some of the games. There is also a younger man there who was super kind and offered us bags for our prizes and took pictures of us. The machines and games are very generous and we got over 1000 tickets when playing for just about an hour with two people!! The guaranteed vending machines are super fun because you can try for the rarer ones over and over without limit. The games range from lowest 75 cents to highest (the vending machines) $6. Most are around 1-2 dollars though. We really enjoyed the Nerf Game, where if you hit the blue nerf gun, you get the 500 ticket jackpot, which my daughter hit :) We won 3 stuffed animals from the vending machines and now have over 1000 tickets. The cards never expire so you can come back a few weeks later and use the tickets again. Such a cool experience, way less crowded and way better than Round 1 a few floors down. Amazing staff, wonderful games, super clean store!! Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for an arcade nearby

Some of the negative here are ridiculous. We're here in LA for vacation and wanted to stop by here so the kids can play some games. There was a young and older guy here and they were super nice with everyone. The place is definitely clean but it's smaller than we expected but still worth stopping by. It's on the 3rd floor next to Burlington.

Fun purchase (card only) and play arcade with a decent selection for one of the only arcades in the area. I believe most games are 50 cents to a dollar and don't stayed occupied long (incase you're game of choice is in use). The AA Fun Center definitely caters to all ages and there always seems to be staff on deck for loading and purchasing cards... some of which can come off a little know-it-all like or make you feel a little dare I say slow for not being able to figure out the use of the machines within 5 seconds... been here more than once and with out fail this always happens to us or someone next to us. The gentlemen who works here did a reload demo for us... I couldn't wait to get away... it's like dude we don't need you to mansplain this. I understand that they've probably had to explain or have been grabbed for help for first timers and what not, but dial it back a little... Aside from this... we try to enjoy ourselves on terminator salvation, Marvel vs. Capcom and some arcade and all around staples... no Simpsons.... sigh... we definitely will stop in again on third floor at the top of the escalator near Burlington... ps. No drinks during game play unless you leave them at the front counter or pound them.

Two of the 4 guaranteed prize claw machines, but the claw is super week.

I would give lower stars, but the lady that was there was very friendly as my boyfriend and I were walking around the small arcade. You have to purchase a play card before you can play any of the games and then you have to use that same card to get play tokens for some of the games. This arcade is located inside the Burbank mall on the third floor next to Bloomingdales. We were interested in the claw games more than the ticket games, but unfortunately 4 out of the 8 claw machines charged $3 to $5 to guarantee a prize win. One of them let you win tickets that automatically go on your card and the other three comprised of two UFO claws and one regular claw that lets you try for candy as a consolation prize if you don't win a plush. The claws were really weak for the win every time claws that we literally had to try 20 times for one prize. There was a handful of non-ticket games and some ticket games, but you have to be mindful of how much you spend for each play since some charge you an off amount. Like the older looking games are 30 cents and the Deal or No Deal game was $1.25 each play. We definitely left there with plushies, even though we paid more to have guaranteed prizes so we didn't feel like we left empty handed. We are not coming back and just sticking with our normal arcade hangouts.

Took my 2 kids here 7 & 10 and they both had a blast. It was a Saturday afternoon around 12 there was only 2 other people there, then around 1 or so a few more families showed up but it didn't seem crowded with everyone there. My 10 year old was all about the virtual reality ride, racing games & halo game. My 7 year old played almost all the games and got her self some Jackpots! The place was very clean and all the games worked. There's also a claw game you can play until you win a small stuffed animal which I thought was great! The older gentleman who I believe is the owner would pop up every so often to recommend a good game chit chat or ask if we needed help, I could see how he might bother other people but he seemed like a very enthusiastic business owner and just wanted to make sure his customers were happy. Between my 2 kids they played for almost 2 hours spending $60 each (birthday gift from grandpa) they ended up with about 5,000 tickets and got themselves some good toys a nerf gun, super Mario stuffed animal, jewelry maker and some smaller things. Overall the kids were really happy and had a lot of fun. We will be back and will recommend this place.

Moments before my day was ruined.

From classic arcade favorites to newer games, there's something for everyone, making it the perfect spot for families, date nights, birthdays, or just a fun day out. They offer open play, private parties, and an awesome variety of games that kept us entertained the entire visit. A huge thank you to the amazing owners for treating us to delicious pizza while we played--it made the experience even more special! Their hospitality was just as memorable as the games. I've taken a special needs young adult client there twice now. At $20 for a minimum card load, the value is... eh considering the selection of games. I've been only on Wednesdays, so we're literally the only customers there. I'm really not interested in going on the weekends because I wouldn't care for crowds of youngsters in a tiny place like that. Basically, it seems to me that the purpose of iPlay is to elevate dominoes pizza next door into a Chuck E. Cheese. The female attendant there kind of hawk eyed my client and I, and it felt a bit uncomfortable. With the dinky selection of games in the limited space, iPlay as a hole is a bit underwhelming. But for all your parents doing birthday parties or just wanting to kill some time, it serves its purpose.

The service on the day was very disappointing. Often, we were unable to find our party host. The food was very delayed coming out despite my asking multiple times beforehand that it be delivered promptly. They do not provide any water to guests - part of the party package is one drink ticket per kid and the options are bottles of water, gatorade, or soda. You can imagine that every kid picked gatorade and was over-sugared and dehydrated. I asked for pitchers of water. The arcade is a room with about 10 games - only half of which work + all of which are filthy. They are very expensive. Our races started almost 30 minutes late. What should have been a fun party ended up being an extra hour long, and really expensive. I have not recommended this venue to friends. Everything is set to free play with a paid admission fee. You can do hourly pay or a set price for all day play. There's probably about 60 different arcade style games ranging in many decades including 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s favorites. Pinball, Mario Kart, Mortal Kombat, Marvel Vs Capcom (my jam), Super Smash Bros, Basketball Pro, Pac Man, NFL Blitz, Rampage (arcade game of my youth), Donkey Kong, Tron, The Simpsons and so many others. Soft drinks, great lighting, a spacious layout. Neon Retro offers cool holiday deals and specials, hosts fun events, IG giveaways and keeps the fun going all year long. It's still only $15 for unlimited hourly play or $25 for a day pass. No food is served here other than snacks (think chips and candy), but so many places closeby to eat before or after your Neon Retro Arcade fun!! It's not a barcade like EightyTwo or Player One so it's alcohol free. They're all welcoming and very personable. I do know they have a capacity limit and weekend tend to be the busiest until around 4 or 5 pm. Nights and weekends are definitely lower in foot traffic, but still great energy. I don't make it over too often, but highly recommend experiencing once or thrice.
