I love the fact that they stamp your kids and the adult and they check it when you try to exit. What a great system! I like it because I could sit back and relax and let the kids run wild without worrying if they will be kidnapped or if they will try to walk out by accident! Plus, the games are only 1-2 tokens. The ticket redemption games are wayyyyyy better than any other arcade. I know it's because it's catered towards younger kids but I feel like I got more bang for my buck! Bathroom were overflowing into the dining area. So j have a hard enough time coming to this place because it's always NOT clean. When I walked in to see a flood and a couple employees with a shop vac I puked a little in my mouth. The bathrooms were overflowing into the dining room and they left the joint open. So no where to wash hands and no bathroom for men. The health department needs to come in there and check for sewage in their carpets. They were short staffed as always so this really strained the rest of the place. It was 20 minutes to redeem prizes, no refills on the drinks or water for the party. What a joke! My Friend took my kids and I to this facility and we were there for an hour after buying their food and spending quite a good amount of money in tokens. My friend went to get me some gluten free and non GMO food because I suffer of chronic Lyme disease and can't eat anything that is not gluten free or non GMOS. But unfortunately the girl at the front had a pretty awful and unfriendly attitude and said I could eat the food because of their policy. Spoke to the manager Jasmin and very bluntly with out any compassion said sorry ma'am it's the policy and can't allow you to eat outside food. This used to be one of my favorite chuck e cheese's, and today I braced myself to endure the 2 hours of madness just to make my daughter happy since she was begging to come here. As it turns out, we should have gone somewhere else! I decided to get Starbucks across the street & my daughter got a cup of ice, and when we came in to get stamped we were told by the teenage worker at the front that we weren't able to come in with "those cups". "But it's coffee" I told her..."really?!" I asked her why and she said "I dont know, it's policy". I then asked to speak to the manager, hoping for some sort of positive resolution to this ridiculous situation, and he (Jake) came over but, he was as useless as his employee. I asked him why we weren't allowed to come in with coffee & a CUP OF ICE, and he proceeded to say the phrase that makes me cringe to this day "It's policy". "Well can't you make an exception?" I asked. "We don't make exceptions for anyone else" he said, "so I can't". Alrighty then! I asked him again WHY we weren't able to bring COFFEE & a CUP OF ICE into the place (wtf?!) and he said "because we have coffee here". LOL! It seriously took everything in me to not laugh in his face. Yeah, I'm sorry, but your cheap watered down $1.39 coffee that has probably been sitting all day doesn't even begin to compare to what I had in my hand! I tried to explain that we were still going to buy food & a lot of tokens, but he wouldn't budge. See, where I come from, the customer comes first and we do our best to accomodate their needs. This place sucks to come to . I have come in on weekends and weekdays . They need to hire new staff or put more to work . I just came in last Wednesday. Man it suck . Almost all of the games had out of order sign . The game needed to be filled with tickets and most of the machine ate my tokens . If I could give this place zero stars I definitely would with no hesitation what's so ever. Let's start off with when I walked in.... FILTHY. The floor looked like it was the trash can. I had to clean my own table. not so much of a big deal. But after a while a guy came with my food after walking ALLLLLL around chuck e cheese with it. He saw my number like 3 times, passed by my table like 2 times. It wasn't until after the 2 time passing our table he finally gave us our food. .. .. WITH NO PLATES. He just pretty much tossed the food onto the table and left. So we just had to use napkins as trays because all the staff was "too busy" to get plates out. Let's not leave out that the food was cold. And the guy spilled ranch over my fries. After eating, my little sister says that she has to use the restroom. So I take her & there's SHIT ON THE DAMN FLOOR! no where near the toilet. It wreaked! I threw up I'm not even kidding. There was like a big o' pile of it! We go to the games, & every single time I go to chuck e cheese I get a souvenir picture. But that wasn't the case for this trip. Hadn't been since I was a kid and, to be honest, expected a terrible experience when I brought my two year-old last week. We couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Let's face it - most chuck e cheeses are bad to begin with. Going is a benevolent act for your kids. But this location is a special hell on earth. We've been twice and it was so noisy, dirty, crowded, and poorly run that I'm at a loss for words. Our order was wrong, service was horrendous (most employees seemed to be on break and out of uniform, but still lingering behind the counter distracting the two employees who seemed to be actually working). The line to order was only 20 feet long but miraculously it still took more than 30 minutes to reach the front. They were out of all beer and the salad bar looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Needless to say, we will never return. And I soaked my kids in disinfectant when we got home. read more

This place is a chain and most things about this place holds true.The issue when I went on 27 July, 2013 was that they were undermanned. It was a busy Saturday afternoon and only 1 person to let people in and out the door. The same person was giving out the toys at the ticket center. Unfortunately this has become an unsafe place now too to take your children to in So Cal. Shortly after we arrived, (myself alone with 4 children), I noticed a woman with a suitcase walking around the front entrance. I turned around for just a moment to put our number for pizza on the table. When I turned back around this woman had gone straight for one of the children I was with and started talking to her. I ran over to her and told the lady to STAY AWAY! She said erratically that she was "trying to teach her about self defense". It was clear she was a transient and mentally ill. She proceeded to talk to employees and even left an empty beer cup near the food register. All the while, she was never asked to leave or escorted out. Came here the other day for my friend's kid's 2 year old birthday party. Not having any children myself, I was curious to see how much I would enjoy myself as an adult at a place basically designed for children's entertainment. Its been many years since I have been to a place like Chuck E Cheese's and I have to say it was nice to revisit a place I went to as a child. They have a large selection of different types of games where you can earn tickets which you can turn into prizes at the end of the day. While many of the games are directly oriented towards children only, they did have skeet ball, two basketball games, a football game, as well as guitar hero. We spent a good hour rotating between these games all the while drinking beer and eating pizza, wings, and cheese bread. The kids all seemed to have a great time running around in a safe environment and it was nice for the parents to know their children were safe to run free. In order to leave, they have a system of invisible ink stamps placed on each parent and child upon entering, that are verified to match parent to child as you exit the establishment. I'm glad I had a reason to be at Chuck E Cheese's because I had a great time and look forward to the next event there. read more

Although the food was good, I give this restaurant one star due to their ticket counter machines. After we finished playing games, my son was putting the tickets in the machine. When we got to 180 tickets, the counter machine dropped down to 150 up to 156. Then dropped down again to 140 to 154. We stopped & got someone to look at the machine. They gave us 30 tickets back. So we went to another machine to put in the remaining tickets & that machine did it again!! This time the employee reset the machine & put in some tickets for us. The rest of our tickets went in normally! I just wanted to give people a heads up about the machines. Not worth it. Attended a 4 y.o. birthday party. Had reservations for 12-1:30 Nothing set up until 12:20 Food didn't come out until 12:45. Pizza was cold, firm and tasteless Staff were mostly teenagers who could care less Chuck E. Cheese made a 3 minute appearance near the stage, then disappeared. I've been going to a lot of Chuck E. Cheese's lately with my five-year-old daughter. however this one in Burbank is not the greatest one that we've been to. We love playing air hockey and off the back the air hockey table was not working and there weren't any sticks to play with. I asked if the air hockey table was working and nobody came to check. finally they said it was not working two hours later. I asked for a buffalo wings and it took almost 45 minutes for them to come to my table a lot of games also we're not working. Other Chuck E. Cheese's are much better like the one in Monrovia and the one in Pasadena off foothill. Really the only thing good about this Chucky cheese is that it has the same games is all the other Chucky cheese. read more
