Excellent. Got the special burger today and it was amazing. The fries were excellent. My dad got the pulled pork sandwich and it was also fantastic. Super great pulled pork and the pickles and slaw were great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is very nice inside and the food came out quick.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Cannot wait to go back and try other delicious barbecue food.

What an unexpected find in downtown Attleboro! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We walked in and immediately were impresss by the delicious smell of BBQ and the cute decor of the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered a variety of things to try and asked the person behind the counter for recommendations, including which of their house made sauces we should try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The food was excellent, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly - this place is the total package and totally worth a visit.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One of the reasons that we are BIG fans of the RI Food Fights is that we get to try new restaurants that we would probably have never heard of or never go to. Chub's Blue Pig BBQ in North Attleboro is just one of those types of restaurants. Upon entering the restaurant, someone would shout out a greeting from behind the counter. It is something so small but it definitely makes you feel immediately seen & welcomed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The entire space is covered is BBQ & piggy themed items. Super cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We could order any ground brisket burger with our RI Food Fights coupons. I ordered the Bacon Burger - Chub's bacon, American cheese, lettuce, pickles & BBQ sauce. It was a delicious burger with zippy BBQ sauce & house-made pickles. It was more medium than medium rare but the ground brisket was outstanding. Hubby opted for the Triple Decker Cheeseburger Club: Chub's bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato & mayo. This sky high burger sandwich was ginormous! Toast, burger, cheese, toast, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, toast. It was one of the best burgers we ate all month. For me, the addition of mayo on the sandwich was really delicious. For hubby, it was the size. We also ordered mac & cheese which was everything you want - ooey gooey, lots of cheese, pasta al dente, the perfect serving size for two people to share (or one really hungry hubby!). Other customers were chowing down on fries which looked delicious. We asked about collard greens but Chub's unfortunately doesn't have that on the menu. Another thing that struck me was that when a customer came in to pick up their to go order, the person behind the counter would walk the bag around & hand it directly to the person. This personable touch really make a great restaurant stand out even more! We can't wait to go back to try the brisket, maple bourbon pork belly & ribs. Thank you for the great burgers & hospitality!

Wow! Great BBQ, friendly service, what more can you ask for! [[HIGHLIGHT]]A great little spot nestled in the Back streets of Downtown Attleboro, Chub's Blue Pig did not disappoint.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]...We had a Pulled Pork Sandwich and Ribs with Hand cut French Fries and Mac and Cheese on the Side. I must say it was all good. A little pricey but EVERYTHING is a little pricey nowadays.... 4.5 out of 5!

I've been there a couple of times and have tried different things and everytime I've been amazed at how good the food is. Every time I'd go to pick up, the person up front is always so nice! I love mini store they have in there as well, I bought my work coaster from there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute spot and good bbq 10/10[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

First time visiting- Alyssa assisted with some suggestions. today I ordered the brisket sandwich with 1 side choice of baked beans. The brisket sandwich had a decent smoke and the beans were decent. I sampled two BBQ sauces Sweet Heat and Texas Black Pepper, my choice was the Sweet Heat My guest ordered the Chubs burger with mac & cheese. The burger is their smoked brisket chopped and formed as a burger, I was told it was excellent. Wish they offered collard greens , sweet potatoes or candied yams

Deep red walls, wide-plank floors, framed portraits of people long gone, a fireplace; this place has the kind of character you simply can't manufacture. Add a live jazz duo playing piano and upright bass in the corner and the atmosphere is close to perfect. We settled in at the bar, which has a decent whiskey selection, and started with cocktails. We also shared the kale and butternut squash salad; we asked them to add a goat cheese medallion from their spinach salad, and honestly it was the right call. That bright, creamy note was exactly what the salad needed...or maybe what I needed. I do love fried goat cheese on a salad. Either way, it was perfect. Then came the cranberry rolls, which were the quiet star of the afternoon; crunchy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside. Don't skip these. For mains, I had the breakfast skillet, which is essentially everything but the kitchen sink loaded into a cast iron pan. Heavily loaded with meat (Arby's would be jealous), homefried potatoes with satisfying crusty bits, a couple over medium eggs, and served sizzling hot. The cheese sauce draped over the top was lighter than you'd expect, landing somewhere between a béarnaise and a classic cheese sauce; it kept the whole thing from getting too heavy. It took a while to work through, and that's not a complaint. My partner had the butternut squash and brown butter sage ravioli. It was well-cooked, flavorful, not too rich, though a little more sage would have put it over the top. The bartender had a good sense of humor and clearly knew his way around the bar. The problem was that he was doing too much; he appeared to be his own bar back, serving the six people at the bar, waiting on the tables within the lounge area, and it appeared he was covering other tables outside of the lounge area as well. He was often away, and with salad plates, appetizer plates, and menus sitting in front of us long after they were needed, the clutter added up. Pre-bussing costs nothing and makes a real difference. Tighten up the staffing model and this place is a very easy five. If you're in the area, you should stop in and check it out for yourself. I'm not sure if the jazz duo on Sunday brunch is a regular occurrence, but if it is, you should definitely make a point of it. They were wrapping up around 2:30-3:00 and it made the whole afternoon feel like something a little more special than just brunch.

The parking is as difficult as all the reviews state - so as my fellow yelpers recommended, if the lot looks full, it's full - just park at the CVS and walk over. It's way too tight to wait around and maneuver for a spot. Walking into the place reminds you of being welcomed into a friend's comfy home. We were seated in a back room that felt cozy. Bernie was our server and he was a delight, super personable and attentive. For apps, we had the 1/2 size eggplant rollatini and 1/2 size spinach and goat cheese salad. Rollatini was good, salad was umm interesting - had a ton of fruit on it with a dressing I didn't love but it wasn't bad, just not sure I'd get it again. Onto the entrees - everyone really enjoyed their meals (short ribs and seafood cardinale) except me lol. My side pasta with pink vodka was good but my Chicken Rossini (labeled as a staff favorite) wasn't bad, it just had a flavor I didn't care for, a little bit of salt did help it but I wouldn't get it again. We enjoyed our visit very much and I would def come back to try other options. All of the staff were wonderful. Bernie mentioned to come back during the summer months as they have the patio open. Perhaps we shall when the weather is nicer and we might even luck out with a parking spot.....

It had a perfect kick of spice, very tasty and the portion was huge. The quality of all the dishes seemed higher than expected at a tavern/sports bar type place. There were a couple empty seats at the bar, some of which seemed suspiciously untouched and we soon realized why; the AC was blasting overheard and although it felt nice in the beginning since it was HOT outside, after 10 minutes it felt frigid. We stayed there anyways since there was a huge TV right in front of us. I wasn't sure what to order, but the chicken and burrata sandwich sounded really good, mostly because of the sweet, salty, and creamy contrast. I ended up ordering it and upgraded my fries to parmesan fries. My friend ordered a burger with sweet potato fries. After about 15 minutes, the food came out. I knew the chicken would be grilled since I asked before ordering so my expectations were low, but it was surprisingly still moist, did taste grilled, but lacked some seasoning. I did not open the sandwich to check how much burrata there was, but adding some more would not have hurt. The fig jam was definitely the star of the show. It overpowered some of the other flavors, but I didn't mind. The caramelized onions might've also contributed to the sweetness; they were soft and good. I was glad they did not add too much arugula since it can get bitter. The ciabatta was a good choice of bread for this sandwich, and it came lightly toasted. I did not taste much of the garlic. The fries were good. They were like regular fries, but with some parmesan cheese sprinkled on top and a parmesan dipping sauce. I also ordered some secret sauce for my fries because I went down a Reddit rabbit hole and was compelled to try it. I was not impressed and it indeed tasted a lot like ketchup and mayo, with maybe a couple other things. We stayed for the full match including overtime. Thankfully it wasn't busy enough where I felt they would kick us out for taking up chairs for too long. Our waitress was great.

One order was perfectly cooked--light and fluffy--but the other was unfortunately underdone and a bit stodgy. To their credit, they removed it from the bill without any fuss, which we appreciated. The coffee had a good flavor, although it could have been served a little hotter. The scone was tasty, my eggs were cooked just as ordered, and my partner's bacon was perfectly crisp. Overall, despite a small hiccup with one of the pancakes, the service was fair in making it right, and the rest of the meal was enjoyable. We'd happily stop by again if we were in the area.

We split the crispy calamari as our appetizer--a deluxe take on a classic. I had the chicken tenders as my entree, and liked the consistency. Not too greasy and not too tough...common pitfalls elsewhere. The honey mustard was a winner, though I loved the BBQ sauce too. My date said she enjoyed her spare ribs as well. Street parking was available right out front. Our waitress was patient about checking dish options for my dairy allergy. Noise level inside was great for a date-not too loud, not too quiet. Good vibes amongst other patrons and staff. Service was friendly and attentive, and she seemed fine with us lingering over our coffees in lieu of dessert. (No dairy-free option.) I'd come back to Attleboro just for this spot.
