Amazing Service and Incredible Wagyu The service really made the night. A massive thank you to Josh and Annie! They were total pros - they kept the grill swaps coming, explained the different cuts of beef, and made sure we were never left us waiting. If you are a fan of high-quality Japanese BBQ, this place is a dream. The cuts of meat were beautifully marbled, and grilling everything to perfection at the table makes for such a fun, social atmosphere. We'll definitely be back for another round soon! read more

Ranier, right off the bat, was welcoming and provided us with immaculate service. He was very attentive to whenever we needed a grill change and answered any of our questions we had regarding the menu and different cuts of meat since we ordered the Diamond menu. He also checked in on us regularly which is great bc usually it KBBQ joints we wouldn't hear as much from our server. Would recommend this location to any of our friends bc the food is good but also the staff here is amazing. read more

One of the greatest service we had in a while from any restaurant. Moses was attentive and helped us cook/ plate our meat. Thank you for handing us the sliders, Moses! Made our night :) read more

The food is always great, Darrel provided exceptional service. Most definitely will come back to this location

giving 5 stars for the quality of service. Chae was our server, she was enthusiastic, attentive, and very knowledgeable of the menu. She also gave honest recommendations. I'd say for food i'd give a 3.5-4. Out of all our chubby cattle experiences I'd say the quality of meat at the Little Tokyo location definitely takes the cake. Also as a personal preference would appreciate sauce on the side rather than on top of the tempura and calamari for people like me who aren't too fond of sweet sauces. read more

Service was great! Our server Kayla sold us on the membership. She created her own discount sheet to show how much we would save. The visuals she created made it easy to decide on getting the membership! Location is really nice with shopping centers located around. We normally go to the Rowland Heights location which is larger than this Cerritos location, but still really good and spacious enough to get your sides. Will definitely come back to this chubby cattle and hopefully we get Kayla again as our server read more

I've had Chubby Cattle BBQ before, but this is my first time at this location. Kevin D. was our server and even though it was super busy for Sunday lunch, he was super attentive, fast, and provided excellent service. We didn't feel rushed and he gave us such a pleasant experience. The vibes were good and they had a good playlist going, so I enjoyed the ambiance a little extra cuz of that. My favorite wagyu is the fruity wagyu (I forgot the full name). Overall, would definitely recommend and return! read more

Today was my first time here and it was amazing! Vy was our server and she was so nice, helpful and fun to talk to every time she stopped by our table. We did the silver tier and all of the options we tried (which was almost everything) were 10/10. I came here with my besties and we all agree that the ambiance totally set a great vibe for our dinner. Thank you so much, Vy, we'll def be back!!! read more

Came here twice so far once each getting the gold and silver package. This place could use some improvements as it tries to copy the Rowland Heights location. I found that the gold package is good if you want some "upgraded A5 beef" but honestly, it's not worth it. Once you order it, the waiters will take their time to come back change the grill, let it heat up, then cook it for you, then serve you and "explain" how to eat it, then take their time to come cake and take your order. But honestly that's how they make you lose your appetite and no longer want to order any more food. Skip any attempt at the waiters cooking your food unless they're quick. The location is cramped. They do not know how to funnel ppl out of the walkway while waiting causing the blockage for ppl going back and forth with their foods. The wagyu burger is pretty good too. read more

Char was a great server! Very attentive and friendly, always with a smile on her face. The food was deliciously as usual. I really like how there are recommendations for how long to cook the meats. read more

So the rating is a comparison with the Rowland Heights location. I would RH location a 4.5 stars so hopefully that provides some context to this review. With this location, it feels very claustrophobic. The tables are so close to each other and the walkways are so narrow. It feels like you're walking through an airplane aisle. The drink station is chaos. It's located towards the front left of the restaurant and because everything is so close, if you were seated at the far right end of the restaurant, it feels like driving through downtown LA to get to the drinks. As for promptness of food delivery, this location was slower and inconsistent. We order the peppered cube beef several times to finally learn from our server (after asking a couple other servers) that they did not have it on the night we went. We went on a Friday night and we were there early so for them to run out, it was very disappointing. We also asked about the wagyu sliders and they kept telling us that it would be brought out soon. 90 minutes later as we were paying, they finally told us that they didn't have that as well for the day. Sorry, but even though this location is closer, I won't be coming back here. read more

Went to Chubby Cattle in Cerritos to celebrate a friend's birthday with a party of 10, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The food was great, the atmosphere was lively, and everything ran smoothly despite how busy it was. Huge shoutout to Sam -- he was absolutely outstanding. Very professional, hardworking, and attentive, and he somehow managed to keep our group entertained while also helping other tables. You can tell he genuinely cares about customer experience and works nonstop. Service like that makes a big difference, especially with a large group. We all had a great time and left happy. Will definitely be back and highly recommend this location! read more

We had a party of 12 and our server Ben was absolutely amazing! The service was quick and organized, and they made our experience at the BBQ even more enjoyable. Thank you for the great service and for taking such good care of our group! We truly appreciated it and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend! read more

The food is fantastic and well worth the price for the Gold Tier. Even the meats from the lower tiers were well worth it. The waitstaff was helpful and kind (thank you Neil!). You have 1 hour to order your food, so order quick. The only downside is the wait time to be seated. I would just show up a little early, add your name to the waitlist and do a little shopping across the parking lot. read more
