We went there on the soft opening it was great. My mom loved the great customer service and the quality of the meat and the sides. I would recommend to download their app chubby club bc u get a 10 dollar off on the ayce. I would also get the gold package. Its alot of food. I wish they cam give options to whether u want the meat to marinated bc it was a bit salty. The endless boba and slush orange is amazing! Parking is free and lots of it. read more

Food was awesome! And Neil our server was very helpful. He really made the experience very good for my family. He took the time in explaining things and how it works. Thanks Neil! Ambiance was good too. Definitely will be back. read more

I'm a chubby club member and have been to different Chubby Cattle locations and this was by far the most disappointing experience compared to others, especially compared to the one in Rowland Heights. We felt super rushed and didn't even get to start on our desserts which has never been the case at any of the other locations! We were told to take the dessert to go in a cup so they can get us out of there quickly. We barely ordered two rounds and were told that it was already last call. Even after "last call" at the other locations, the servers never rushed us out and even allowed us to order more if we wanted. Btw we tried to be as efficient as possible with ordering and cooking/ eating and still felt like there wasn't enough time. Would highly recommend you go to the Rowland Heights location for better quality and service! read more

Food was class and so was our server Jordan! Can't wait to come back. Would definitely recommend to pace yourself and don't get overly excited to try everything and fill up on your first round! read more

Sean did an excellent job taking care of our large party. He was very attentive throughout the entire meal, always making sure our grills were changed promptly and everything ran smoothly. The restaurant is always super busy but they somehow always make time to check in on us. The quality of the meats was amazing, and the food came out quickly, we never had to wait long for anything. Our favorites were the skirt steak, beef tongue, and steamed egg. We always get the silver menu, but I'll def be trying a higher menu next time. The only downside was that the environment was a bit loud and crowded, it can be quite the journey going to the self serve stations. Restrooms are also very small. Overall an amazing dining experience! Expect to pay at least $60 per person but very much worth it. read more

Third time here and we love it every time! Eric was so helpful and would def ask for him again! read more

Angela was an amazing waitress! Very attentive for our large party! And helped us get the famous burgers

Chubby cattle is always consistent and on top of everything. Shout out to Sean for making sure everything went smoothly! Sean provided excellent service and was very considerate. The food was great and I felt the servers were very attentive to the heat levels and checking in without it feeling like they were hovering or interrupting a conversation. Sean felt like a bro who genuinely wanted to help opposed to just someone helping just because it's his job. read more

Thomas!!! He's the real MVP. He helped us cook, gave us menu recommendations and was an overall joy during our experience at a Chubby Cattle. He cooked it all to perfection for us when he could and was friendly towards us especially when we had our hands full with the kids. The food was amazing and plentiful and high quality. The menu had great variety. We make it a priority to go here whenever we're in the area visiting family. Looking forward to going back and hopefully we'll have Thomas as our server again. read more

Chubby Cattle never disappoints. They open at 5pm and I recommend coming at 4pm and getting your name down. Unless you want to wait 2 hours.. the mall is right there too so easy to kill time. Our server, Sam, was amazing. He was new but he was easy to talk to and had great recommendations. This location is smaller than their Rowland Heights location but still great. They offer self serve milk teas, slushies, sodas (Pepsi products), along with self serve sauce bar, hot items like corn cheese, sweet potato, and cheesy durian, ice cream, egg tarts, fruit, and cakes. A great recommendations by Sam was the Wagyu Skirt Steak. Don't sleep on this tender , melt in your mouth piece of meat. Definitely recommend downloading their app and getting their membership which is on promo right now . You'll get discount for 2 people off their menu price and other perks as well . Overall a great experience, great food, great service, and clean restaurant . Highly recommende read more

We're from San Diego and this is the third time we've been to chubby cattle. our first time was at the Rosemead location and the last two times have been at the Cerritos location. let me tell you our service at the Cerritos location has been exceptional both times. just when we thought Ben was our best server bam Sam comes along and takes care of us. He was phenomenal but not only was the service above and beyond the food was delicious! the ambiance can be a little overstimulating but fun overall. we love chubby cattle so much that we bought a membership which pays for itself with all the rewards. needless to say Sam and Ben we'll be back so glad it's been well worth the drive! read more

I want to take a moment to give a well-deserved review to my server, Darrel--also known (affectionately) as Mr. Scissor Hands. From the moment we sat down, Darrel set the tone for an excellent experience. It's not every day you come across someone who clearly cares about their work and the people they are serving, but Darrel made it obvious right away that he takes pride in what he does. First and foremost, his work ethic really stood out. Throughout the entire time we were there, Darrel was constantly moving, checking on tables, making sure everything was running smoothly, and paying attention to details that many people would overlook. Even when the place seemed busy, he never looked overwhelmed or frustrated. Instead, he stayed focused, friendly, and attentive. That level of professionalism makes a huge difference for customers. Darrel was also incredibly attentive to our table. Drinks were refilled before we even had to ask, questions about the menu were answered clearly, and he made sure everything came out exactly how we wanted it. It's those little things--like remembering preferences, checking in at the right moments, and making sure everything is just right--that turn a normal meal into a great experience. Darrel nailed all of it. Now I have to talk about the nickname: Mr. Scissor Hands. I don't know if it's because of how quickly and precisely he handled everything, but the name fits perfectly. Watching him work was like watching someone who has mastered their craft. Everything was quick, clean, and efficient. Orders were handled smoothly, plates were cleared at the perfect time, and nothing felt rushed even though he was clearly working hard. It's actually impressive how he manages to balance speed with great customer service. Beyond the technical side of his job, what really made the experience memorable was Darrel himself. He was friendly, approachable, and had a great attitude the entire time. You can tell when someone genuinely enjoys interacting with people, and Darrel definitely does. He made us feel welcome, comfortable, and taken care of from start to finish. I also want to acknowledge just how hard he worked. Service jobs are not easy, especially when things get busy, but Darrel handled everything like a pro. He stayed positive, stayed organized, and kept delivering excellent service. That kind of effort deserves recognition. Darrel, if you ever read this review, I just want to say thank you. You truly made the experience better with your effort, personality, and attention to detail. It's clear that you work very hard, and it does not go unnoticed. People like you are the reason customers come back. So here's to Darrel--Mr. Scissor Hands himself. A hardworking, attentive, and genuinely great server who goes above and beyond. I can honestly say that the service he provided made the entire visit more enjoyable. I appreciate the effort, the professionalism, and the positive energy. Keep doing what you're doing, Darrel. The hard work shows, and it makes a difference. And just so it's said clearly: we love you, Mr. Scissor Hands. read more

Chubby Cattle - Amazing quality - Barbeque Near Me - Cerritos, California

I gotta say, this is the second time we've been to Chubby Cattle and it didn't disappoint. Cerritos had their soft opening and although it was an hour and 20 minute wait, it was absolutely worth it. Ben was an outstanding server! He took his time and was very patient with us and our party of six (with two kiddos). He cooked a few batches for us so we that we all had a break and could enjoy just eating. Several other servers popped in and did the same throughout the evening. Of course we ordered everything - even the tongue and carpaccio. I would highly recommend the Australian Wagyu and rib meat. It's been our go-to at all KBBQ spots. Fish - gotta favor the yellowtail! Inside is hustlin and bustlin and importantly, clean. Although it is A LOT (A LOOOOOOOT!!!) smaller than the Rowland Heights location, the parking lot is better LOL. Rowland heights parking just be out here testing your patience and livelihood for real. Their drink station consists jasmine milk tea, samurai milk tea, strawberry slushy, grape slushy, water, hot tea, and your typical soda station. Behind all of the cold items and the sauce bar is where you'll find the rice, corn cheese, and soup. **NOTE, their waitlist on Yelp isn't available here yet and some dishes slightly vary from other locations, i.e. the Australian Wagyu - at the RH location it comes with an egg wash and here it comes with a Sriracha sauce. The line is long for the soft opening and we checked the RH location wait time for giggles. At the same time that this location was quoting an hour and 20, RH was quoting 35-45 and their online waitlist was available to join. read more

We had a wonderful time and Michael did a fantastic job serving us! He was so personable and always checked to make sure that we had what we need. The food was so delicious! My sister and I went to Chubby Cattle during the weekday about an hour after they opened and you can join their waitlist on the iPad outside the restaurant. For 2 people, we waited about 2 hours before getting seated. We liked that we could order on the iPad and we selected the Silver Tier, which we thought was perfect for us. They have self serve drink stations, dessert station, and sides station. We really like their corn cheese lol All staff seemed really welcoming but shout out to Michael, Tyler, and Josh. They were super helpful and we enjoyed our dinner! Definitely coming back again(: read more

Got lucky and noticed that Chubby Cattle finally opened up in Cerritos. My husband and I have been waiting for it and today was day 1 of the soft opening. We had our waitress Sisi who helped cook our meat and was so friendly making our experience here amazing. We did opt for the membership as she gave us what the benefits were. We will be coming back again. What a joy that Cerritos has so many amazing places to eat. The place was super clean and the meat quality top tier. Thanks for your help Sisi! read more

Thomas was extremely friendly and even helped to cook our meat! Great customer service!

Great service from our server Freddy. And overall staff. Freddy even grilled our meat

Chae was one of the nicest waitresses I've encountered. She was super sweet and very helpful!!!

Big thanks to Neil for taking care of our party the entire night. Starting with his recommendations to guiding our experience, Neil was spot on with everything. The restaurant was a little busy but our wait was quick by joining the waiting list early. We could have used a second grill and a larger table considering we had a party of 6 and seating was a little cramped after ordering a few items. Their large booths unfortunately were designed only with a single grill. Only other complaint was the heat from the grill. There wasn't any exhaust to take the heat away from those sitting in front of the grill and it got hot! Not the most fun sweating and eating. As mentioned before, Neil's service made up for most of these deficiencies and the evening was saved. read more
