It is just a short walk from our house (and the walk negates the custard right?) although the path goes through a couple areas with heavy traffic. The store itself is simple, there is a window to order from and then a collection of benches and tables to eat at. There aren't a ton of sitting spots, so most people were getting their desserts to go. The kids were THRILLED at the option that is "dirt" which means it has cookies and gummy worms. I had a strawberry shortcake which was amazing. I don't remember what my wife got (she didn't share), I want to say it was a gooey butter cake item. Overall all were very good and we will be back.

When I worked down the street, I would often come for their cold brew coffee, fir an afternoon pick me up. They also serve some pretty amazing breakfast and lunch sandwiches on New York bagels. Weekend hours are longer over the summer and early fall staying open until 10pm but as they hit October the hours shift to close by 9 o'clock on the weekends. They have cute ice cream cone seating tables as well as an old time soda bar. Definitely our families go-to ice cream splurge. Price was okay for the size. It tasted a bit like cherry which I didn't love, but it also didn't stop me from eating every last drop of the float lol.
