Management needs to get their act together. On Apple Maps, it says they're only open on the weekends. Google Maps and their website say they alternate between opening at 4 and 6pm every other day. Yelp says they open at 4. And their listed phone number has been disconnected. No hours on your actual building. Taking care of this costs NOTHING. Disrespectful to potential customers by wasting their time trying to figure out your amateur hour clownish way of doing business. Please bother to fix this. read more

I initially wanted to try this place because they had dolewhip, but they didn't have the original pineapple flavor. I then got excited at the thought of having pie since it was a bit of a colder day but then they didn't have pie that day either. I opted for the swirl concrete with waffle cone pieces, but it just tasted like all chocolate and i'm not a fan of chocolate so it was just a really disappointing experience lol The place was pretty busy and everyone was super nice. I try to support small businesses as much as I possibly can but once they treat me as an inconvenience instead of a welcomed customer, I am done. No second chances. I expect to get exactly what you advertise, even if you want to claim that it wasn't advertised, it was, not some sloppy, rude excuse for you not being able to make a clear and plainly worded statement on a public platform. I shouldn't have to try and read someone's mind and try to figure out what they may or may not have meant. NOT my job. This place reminds me of the old style roadside ice cream shops of my youth. The kind that has a sliding window for ordering and one to pick up your treats. On this trip my wife ordered a large concrete (thick shake). There is a choice of vanilla or chocolate custard. The base price includes one mix in. She got the cookie dough and added one mix in (chocolate chip). I sampled and thought the taste was very rich with ample bits of goodies. I believe the base cost of these are $5.99. Love this place! The worst part is having to make a decision about what to get! Their specials are creative and on point, but sometimes I just want their pure unadulterated vanilla custard. I know we have a legendary spot a bit east of Pacific, but I'd put Hoffman's up against them anytime! One of my favorites is the bread pudding with custard--so good! This place has it all, custard, dole whip and slushes. They have specialty concoctions that just make your mouth water. (Oreo Cheesecake is AWESOME) Don't get me started on the bread pudding... it sells out really quick! But my favorite treat is the lime or raspberry dole whip with the chocolate hardshell on top. The twist cones really are not good. I don't know how you can mess those up but they do not even taste like ice cream. Got halfway down the road and couldn't even finish it because it was that bad. We LOVE Hoffman's! Our family goes at least once a week for custard. The specials are creative and yummy and are always advertised on Facebook and posted at the stand. We have tried just about everything they offer. The dairy free fruit flavors are perfect in the summer and you are missing out if you have never had the bread pudding.
