Summer Corn Caesar Salad

The only greens getting chopped here are the dollar bills you'll waste on an overpriced salad. The only reason this place gets any business is because of the rich SAHMs funneling in from the Equinox next door. The few cubes of chicken they threw in tasted rubbery and bland. Nothing was that BAD, just very underwhelming-especially for the price. However, I'm sure there's some standard bowls that aren't half bad.

I love Chopt and wish they would open one closer to me. They have fresh ingredients and the flavors all blend together so well! I always get the Classic Cobb Salad with House Vinegarette! Fills me up every time and leaves me fully satisfied!

This is my favorite of all of them. The classic cobb. But I got it with balsamic dressing instead of the one that they suggest

I absolutely love getting salads from this place. I love the one in Ryebrook, New York the best. I go to several of them in Connecticut and New York. They are all wonderful. They pay great attention to detail on your salad. I absolutely love that I can to add-ons and it's not too expensive. And you definitely get a very large salad. I've never had a salad that was wrong. I love the perks that I get from the app. I definitely recommend getting a salad or wrap from this place. Please enjoy!

Pro: Ordered on the app and ready in 15 minutes Cons: $14 for a salad that's supposed to be CHOPPED? Guess they couldn't chop through the avocado that was hard as a rock. Couldn't chew through the chicken (lots of tendons) and little dressing. Waste of money.

I used to love the salads I would get here. But recently, not only have the prices gone up (by removing ingredients from their pre made salads and now making them extras) but the quality has gone down. Today I ordered from the app for my salad to be extra chopped. This is what they call extra chopped?? This is one of several disappointing visits I've had recently.

Someone from Chopt customer service reached out and said the feedback has been shared with this location. I've also noticed the person who used to dress / chop changed. So that was cool! Appreciate a business that takes feedback.

I'm not a salad person and have never been a big fan of it until I discovered this place. I love how they chop your salad to the tiniest piece possible!!! You get to chose whatever ingredients and dressing you want, blah blah blah. Good selection of ingredients/toppings and the dressings are really tasty! Ordered 2 salads tonight and only had to pay for 1 since we have the chopt frequent card which gets you a free salad after the 9th one. It's free so make sure you sign up! Really good deal since this place ain't cheap.

Shrimp in the chicken. :(

I used to love going to Chop't. Several months ago, they got rid of their steak option. I don't care for their multiple offerings of chicken so I haven't been back in a while. Today, I tried again. I ordered a chicken wrap. Now, everything is "pre-chopped." Disappointing. I had already decided I wouldn't be going back, but when I got home, I started eating and found a piece of shrimp. Unfortunately, I'm highly allergic. This used to be a great place. It was fun to watch them chop the salads. Perhaps they should change their name to Mix't--they just stir the dressing in.

Skimpy!

Indian food convictions: Maharastrian Edition. If you know…read moreme, you must know that I take Indian food extremely seriously. It must cater to the realest flavor and technique. Here was my mother's day meal: These days I miss the motherland a lot, and I was very emotional towards the end of this meal. Her classics are phenomenal and heartwarming. -Maharastrian veg thaali: thaali is a combination of multiple dishes in one. The baingan warli (eggplant with peanuts and stuffed spices) was OUT OF THIS WORLD! The fried puri with aam rass (mango puree), reminded us of nostalgic heaven. -Aam panna, a mango mocktail with special ingredients, was not sweet and just right! -Malvani fish fry.... oh my i have no words for this dish. She used king fish with a nice coating of spices and breading, on a cast iron, and it was beyond words. The level of effort she puts is what makes this dish worth running for. Make sure you go and help her build her business. She's the real deal!!

We also shared the lasooni gobi, palak paneer and butter chicken. This was my first time ever having butter chicken believe it or not, I found the sauce to have a great depth of flavor but my favorite bite of the night was definitely the lasooni gobi. It was medium spice but was I definitely was able to handle it. I loved every single bite. The palak paneer was good too, but maybe I'd try the chili paneer next time because I found myself avoiding the sauce and the bell peppers and just eating the cheese, so I want to know if I'd like it more in another sauce. The place itself definitely needs some more life inside, it was empty and there was a huge TV playing music videos which was cool but definitely needs a fresh coat of paint, better tablecloths and some nice plates and cups would've been nice, it kinda felt like dining in was discouraged despite having a decent amount of seating. Definitely not as much of a vibe as the place down the street but the food was good!

Dined here recently for dinner. I had booked an outdoor table, but it ended up being too chilly to…read moresit outside--thankfully the staff was accommodating. It had been years since my last visit, so it felt like a brand-new experience. I made a reservation online, though it wasn't really necessary that evening. Still, it's a plus that you can easily choose between indoor and outdoor seating when booking. Parking in their onsite lot is another convenience. The restaurant has a cozy, intimate feel, and there's a small bar that offers a happy hour Tuesday through Friday from 4-7 PM. We started with cocktails: a refreshing white sangria with mango and a mojito. Both were well-made and reasonably priced--$7 and $8. For appetizers, we had the coconut shrimp served over sliced plantains with a lemongrass sauce. The flavors were good, but the shrimp were noticeably over-fried (see my video), which took away from what could have been a standout dish. Sonora's menu offers a diverse Latin-inspired selection with dishes from South America, Cuba, Mexico, Portugal, and Puerto Rico. I was intrigued by the variety. I chose a Cuban-inspired dish: Angus skirt steak served with lobster and plantain fried rice and topped with a quail egg saffron lime garlic mojito sauce. The steak was tender and cooked to order, but the fried rice was underwhelming--just a hint of lobster flavor with only a few tiny pieces of lobster. The quail egg was nicely done. My friend ordered a Colombian dish: chicken stuffed with sweet plantain, goat cheese, peppers, and chorizo, served with saffron mashed potatoes and a sweet sherry sauce. She loved it and said the portion size was generous--I passed on a taste but took her word for it! They also offer brunch, jazz nights, and a paella night, which I'd love to check out in the future. I'll definitely return when the weather is warmer to enjoy their outdoor seating.

Stopped here on our way to a ski trip and I am willing to drive the hour+ just to have another meal…read morehere. We got lucky with no wait for a table for 4, prime dinner time on a Friday night. The hostess was super friendly and so was everyone else after that. Honestly so blown away by how friendly all the staff were. We were checked on multiple times and our main waiter was just awesome. On to the more important things - the food. Wow. The menu is not overwhelmingly large and truly has something for everyone. Pizzas, sandwiches, pasta, and seafood. Bonus: the mac and cheese on the kids menu is NOT kraft mac and cheese. We had grilled cheese, mac and cheese, mushroom pizza and fish tacos and wow. Not only did the food come out fast but it was delicious and portions were huge. I was so impressed with this place. The atmosphere and decor are so fun and "cool" and it was the perfect place to grab a bite on our 3 hour driver. Wish we lived closer but the next road trip we're on, I'm definitely finding a way to come back here.

Ordered: Crispy artichokes ($15)- these were fried and tasty with a creamy yogurt sauce. Nothing crazy or exotic flavor wise, but enjoyable. Polenta bites ($12)- I really enjoyed these! They were a little salty, a little smoky (bacon) and a little sweet (honey). I will say that I strongly recommend Village Social either update their menu or change the toppings, as these polenta bites were topped with crispy bacon but the menu did not indicate this. Vegetarians in our group didn't realize this dish wasn't vegetarian. Chicken Milanese ($28)- the portion was very generous! It came with a large chicken breast and I requested to change the salad on top to Caesar. I appreciated their willingness to modify the order. All in all, I'd recommend checking out Village Social the next time you're looking for a dinner spot in the area.
