I placed an order on their app for pick up, when I arrived at my pick up time the store was closed . I tried calling all day the next day to speak to someone and after being on hold I got hung up on numerous times . I come to this Chopt 2-3 times a week as the location is convenient and I enjoy my salads from here. Today I had the worst woman make my salad she was rude and extremely unpleasant to deal with. Been here twice recently and both times, everything worked just fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. The chicken Mexican soup is pretty good. The salads bowls we had were good too: Palm Beach, Smoky Santa Cruz, Mediterranean Falafel. If management is reading this, I hope you do more about recycling. Would you consider banning plastic straws? In addition to what you already recycle, can you find a way to recycle plastic forks and knives? If I saw less waste, I might visit more often. read more

From being greeted at the door to salad suggestions, I had it all. The line was long at lunch but moved surprisingly quick. Staff very professional and polite, the place spotless. I placed a large order (about 25 salads) for the second time yesterday with this Chopt location and they did a great job. The order was ready on time and each person's order was typed up and placed into its own bag (salad, bread, drink, cookie/chips, etc), which made distributing the lunches super easy. Honestly probably one of the worst chopt locations I've been to. It's clean and the food stays true to the Chopt brand, but my god the staff moves in slow motion. Great place and tasty salads, try out Mexicali vegan with a blend of tahini and chili cashew dressing! Staff is super nice and they use fresh gloves, knife and cutting board if you say you are a vegetarian/ vegan. Even if there is a long line they take care of your food preference. read more

I love this place. They chop and mix your salad perfectly!! They have a warm kale bowl with quinoa that is super delish. They have a soup and salad option if you want a combo. I'm not much of a yelper, however I think the management needs to hear customers voice so I'm posting today. It was early Sunday night, there were about 15 people on line. The server we had wasn't friendly at all and she didn't know the whole ingredients. When I pointed out she missed an item she gave me an attitude. Salad was okay, I didn't expect much from these type establishment. I also got "Italian soup", which cost about $5 for cup. I don't get whats Italian about this soup, it was tasteless and not good. What happened to Chopt? When it first opened it was a great place to get in and out quickly with a delicious salad. Last three times I've been there the staff looks unhappy, no one smiles and the wait time for getting your salad chopped is FOR EVER even when empty. Just came from there tonight and the staff was moving like snails. Was there two weeks ago when I was the one and only customer. I made the fatal mistake of paying in cash and waited 12 minutes for the girl to come out and ring me up. There were other staff there but God forbid they help. Absolutely without a doubt the best salads I have ever had. Me and my wife go in two to three times a week and are never disappointed. The dressing options available are all so tasty and plentiful. The salad options to choose from are great and the creativity in making your own are nearly endless! Kebab Cobb salad with Smoky Bacon Russian Dressing is my go to. Employee Marcus is such a huge asset to this location and he's always fast but accurate and never gets the salads wrong. He works really hard, he puts just the right amount of time and ingredients in the salads. I love that I never have to ask him "a little bit more, a little bit less" its always perfect. It's such a pleasant delight when stepping into my favorite salad place and getting helped by such an amazing person, he has such a great character that's needed in customer service!! It was a short female who was preparing the salads, with a short temper in her attitude. If someone is not happy at their job, then its time to seek employment somewhere else. You are going to deal with irate customers on a regular but its how you become the better person and deliver the service even if they do Not deserve it. If I could give this place a zero star I would. To start with, this was my first experience visiting this Chopt in Ardsley and the experience was so horrible after being over-charged for salads, I decided to ask the cashier, what was I truly paid for, and asked her if in fact I got charged for what I got. It was not clear to me, so I repeated myself and the cashier had an outburst right away! accusing me of having an attitude about it , which I was not. So I simply asked for a manager. During this entire ordeal I was trying to find out if I was actually charged correctly for 4 salad's, but I knew I was incorrectly charged. I was just trying to verify my bill. I was taken for a fool from staff from Chopt. Clearly this place over-charges customers without noticing what they are truly paying for at the time of purchase. Buyers Beware! I was just here last night for the first time and I must say the experience was phenomenal. The lady that put my salad together was friendly and got my salad made quite fast. And after your salad is made it gets passed down to someone who will cut up your salad and mix it together with dressing. He too was very nice to me got me out within a jiffy. The salad that I got was the Santa Fe and I would most defiantly get it again The flavors truly do mash together in an exquisite blend. A special thanks to the wonderful staff and Elena. Salads here are great. Service is not so great. I walked in and ordered 4 salads to go. The "chopper" seemed annoyed that I had not ordered them online and seemed to have an attitude as he told me how much easier it is for them when you order online. Easier for them? There was no one in the restaurant! I don't understand what the problem there was. Icing on the cake - I paid by credit card and somehow they managed to charge me $8.50 more than I authorized to pay. I am suspicious and think that somehow a tip was added to my slip once I walked out but I made a phone call to the manager who told me that was impossible. My credit card company told me that is what they charged. My receipt says otherwise but I either have to fight like hell for my 8 bucks back or just suck it up. I, personally, will never go there again. I cancelled my credit card because I am afraid that it was compromised there. If you go - pay cash. And order online ahead of time. Its easier for them that way. Don't want anyone else to go through what I did today. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. After a bad first in-store experience, we tried ordering through the app to minimize confusion. We ordered a grilled chicken salad; drove there to pick up; brought it home...no chicken!!! How?! Chopt's solution: apology email, and $5 refund "for the forgotten chicken." I'm sorry...how does this make up for someone essentially going without dinner that evening?? My first experience with them was so uncomfortably high pressure, unfriendly, and unpleasant that I felt like I was in a remake of the well-remembered "soup" episode of Seinfeld. I felt rushed, and treated with disdain for finding the ordering lingo confusing. Then we were chastised; angrily reminded that the "children's salads are only for kids." If you doubt that these to-go salads are actually for children, don't offer them! The falafel was blah - tasted like chopped up, mushy, cumin-crouton. Also, if you are gluten free, bear in mind that the same mezzaluna chopping utensil and cutting board are used continuously, coming in contact with croutons and the like.
