Quick eats

Wasn't interested in any of the preset wrap menu options so Hubby decided to build his own using the medley of veggies and chicken options. They packed his wrap to the max and it tasted absolutely delicious! The reason for 4 stars is due to the fact there's no tuna available. Major miss for a salad and wrap establishment.

Amazing food and service! I got the build your own salad and it was amazing! Highly recommend this place to others!

Don't UberEats from this location! This is the fourth time I ordered (I don't know why I kept trying) from this location and they didn't add any chicken. This time I even put in the notes saying "Please don't forget the chicken." I just really don't understand. The chicken is the first thing that shows on the list of what to add. On top of that, it's basically all lettuce and none of the extra things i added. I don't get it!!

My daughter recently placed an order that ended up being set for the next day. She was able to connect with the store just 15 minutes before closing. The manager or supervisor on duty was extremely nice on assisting us with correcting the time error, making our order right in there and enhancing our order. Unfortunately my daughter order was wrong as they added ingredients that she had requested off, however I wrote an email to customer service with my order information and pictures of what we received. I received an email back with an apology and a credit. Despite an error I want to highlight how great the staff was in accommodating my daughter's error and enhance my specialty bowl just as their were about to close. Their service and effort didn't go unnoticed and I appreciate the way they handled everything.

If you ever crave a fresh salad, with quality ingredients and plenty of them, then you need to try Chopt. I decided to try them when I realized that they were within easy walking distance of my hotel. Boy, am I ever glad that I did! I was able to order online, using their custom 'build your own salad' option, and within 20 minutes I had a beautiful, well-put-together salad. Check out the photos and then race over to your nearest location and get you some!

The proteins are lacking for the price

Came here after a not-so-great first visit when I ordered a salad I wasn't too thrilled with and received service that was less than desirable. Today was way different. I picked up one of their menus when I joined the line so that I'd be able to figure out what I wanted ahead of time so as not to feel rushed. I wanted to customize a salad wrap and even though I had time to figure out my order, for some reason, the way they take your order is not the same as the way the menu is set up. On the menu, the first thing to choose is which greens you want, such as arugula, cabbage & herb, spinach, etc. The last thing is your protein and dressings. When I got up to the girl who took my order, she asked me about my toppings and I was lost because they don't even call any items, "toppings", on the menu. The menu has 6 categories starting with their greens, fruits & veg, cheese & dairy, grains & beans, crunch and "the goods", which are their protein options. Lastly, at the bottom, are the dressing options. The toppings are apparently everything other than the greens. After being a little thrown off, I was able to make my choices and then we moved down the line to assembly. They still chop your items before assembling them in a huge wrap, the size of a hero/wedge. You can definitely get a two-lunch meal of out one salad wrap. Unfortunately, they don't slice it for you but the way its wrapped up, you can easily eat half with little mess and wrap up the remainder to eat later. Ultimately, I went with their cabbage & cilantro base, wild caught shrimp, scallions, pickled onions, avo, corn, quinoa, tomato, jalapeños, pepper jack cheese and chimichurri ranch dressing. The shrimp had that gulf taste that I'm not too fond of. I wish they had steak instead. I also added a soup to my order for an additional 2.99. The size of the soup is pretty small and I could see paying, maybe 1.99 for it but it was good. I chose their tomato basil. It was creamy and they give you a slice of crusty bread with the soup. Since I had time to kill, I sat inside and ate. They were pretty busy so many of their seats were taken but there is high turnover and a lot of people just eat and leave, so seating always opens up. They also have a communal table in the front. If you're just picking up an order, they have a few time-limited parking spots out front so that you don't have to go searching for parking when you've made your order ahead of arrival. I'm glad I gave them another try. I think I'll be ordering that same salad wrap, minus those gulf shrimp. This would be a good spot for me considering it's close proximity to my home and the fact that you can order ahead. That might make it a little less daunting for me in the future.

Chopt doesn't have any shortage of Greens. And if you have doubts, most likely, they have it. Space is large and airy with lots of seating on either side going in, with a walkway leading up to the order line. Did a double-take when I saw the long line, but it went rather quickly. If you're unsure about Salad combos or ingredients, there's a full size menu up on the wall. Chopt has an assembly-line format where someone behind the counter preps your Salad with a nice amount of Veggie, some Fruit, some Nuts, Protein, Beans and Cheese add-ons in containers. Since I don't eat chicken, beef or pork, I was able to customize and swap this for that- and that's exactly how it went down. I liked the 'Crunchy Thai Market Salad' from their "Destination Salads" option- but wanted to wipe out the chicken and use Shrimp as my Protein instead- (with an additional $1.00- which was ok......I guess). I liked the sound of the dressing, but got rid of that too for the 'Chile Cashew Dressing'- which was freaking amazing with a soft heat and not overpowering at all. Except, I thought I scored with my Salad with the Shrimp add-on. But tasted like they had preservatives, chemical or metallic something. (I ate the entire Salad plucking the Shrimp out). Aside from the off-tasting Shrimp, my argument is also paying extra for some toppings- even 79¢ if you want Arugula as your main focus. Regardless if this is a chain or not, my Salad itself (minus Shrimp) was very tasty. I wouldn't mind returning and going for an entire Vegetarian meal. I thought service was speedy and friendly and don't mind the down-the-line idea here.

Trash bins
Rob B.

They should call it "Iced" because the place is always freezing! Staff said it has to be cold to keep salads that way? Bad reason. And the recycling vs trash bins have zero explanation. Salads are good though, but not as good as the indy Mix on Main in downtown Dobbs Ferry.

This restaurant was bustling on a Saturday afternoon. They have about seven or eight tables indoors…read moreand a couple tables outside. There were also several picnic benches around the side of the building, but I wasn't clear if they belonged to the restaurant. You order at the register and they call out your name when your food is ready. They have a ton of vegan/vegetarian options, as well as a great breakfast/brunch menu. I ordered the egg and cheese biscuit. The cheddar jalapeño biscuit was delicious. It was buttery and dense. The flavors were mild, but the sandwich was the perfect portion size. I also got a side of the vegan bacon. It was rubbery and tough to chew. Would not recommend. My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito. We also shared the buffalo cauliflower. The cauliflower pieces were well coated in buffalo sauce and very flavorful. I also got the Don't Kale Me juice. It was tangy, citrusy, and refreshing. The Deep Roots smoothie was also quite tasty. They have free self-serve water and the employees were quick to wipe down tables so they were clean for the next party. Looking forward to coming again!

The aesthetics put me in the mind of earth day and such beautiful paintings on the wall and flowers and greenery throughout. Grass Roots Kitchen offers have high tops dining as well as, regular dining, and outside dining. The dining area is pretty large, length wise and beautifully attractive. I ordered the egg and cheese biscuit with the help of the cashier, I didn't get her name and it's on the receipt but I threw it out. Even though this was not a vegan dish, who could pass on a collosal cheese biscuit. The egg was a nice accompaniment to this cheese biscuit also. The lady that gave me the biscuits said, wow! That smells nice. I thought she was giving me a compliment on the order until I sniffed the bag. Normally I don't do well with my sense of smell but, boy oh boy! That was a gooooooood smelling biscuit. And the taste, it tastes so good, it makes you want to slap yo momma. (Don't do it, it just makes you want to slap her.) Needless to say, I really enjoyed this cheese biscuit. In hindsight I guess I could have grabbed a hot drink, maybe next time, and there will be a next time because I told the lady that this was my first time and at the restuarant and I'm new in the area. She said she's looking forward to seeing me again. I'm looking forward to more eats and treats or treats and eats. Whatever it is, just ... Inspire more, Yelp more!

Mint has been a go to for me for over ten years now. The Belgo-Moroccan owner sets a high standard…read morefor cuisine here and you won't be disappointed by anything you eat here. The pro tip here is to get a pound of the candied pecans to take home with you, they are life affirming. Are you disappointed by the dearth of decent cheese in the United States? Well Mint has a panoply of incredible cheeses from Europe and the charcuterie and cheese plate gives you an almost indecent amount of cured meats and stunning cheeses with freshly toasted baguette and a generous portion of Membrillo for a very reasonable (in today's economy) $29. You might be tempted by the Moroccan Chicken, and you should be, it is delicious but for me they do a really amazing Steak Frites that is cooked to perfection. I ordered mine "à point" or medium rare and it was absolutely as advertised. My husband had the Cuban on gluten free bread and was very happy with it. The ambience of the restaurant is really nice, it is very warm and inviting with cool decoration and big vats of marinated olives and other delicious mezze, or Kamio to be nationally accurate. Check out the cheese selection in my photos, it really is S tier.

The restaurant - like most spots in Tarrytown on a night when there's a show at Tarrytown Music Hall - was bustling when we arrived, and we were promptly shown to our reserved seats. I love the array of cheeses and olives in the restaurant's "general store" in the front of the house. We ordered a round of classic drinks (mojito, whiskey sour, gin and tonic, Malibu and pineapple juice - we're not big drinkers) and each drink was on point and not overly heavy on the liquor, which I appreciate. We weren't famished, so we all ordered burgers and sandwiches, which were quite good, especially my Cubano I want to return to try some entrees - like the butternut squash risotto - which looked interesting and promising! But the star of this evening was their TRUFFLE FRIES! These were infused with truffle oil, fried to perfection, and so, so delicious! We actually ordered more when the servings we were sharing weren't enough. I would return JUST for those. We shared a bread pudding, which was also lovely and light, topped with a scoop of creamy and not cloyingly sweet vanilla gelato. Overall, a great meal, with a friendly and relaxed vibe. I'll be back.

I ordered take out and my order was ready on arrival. The staff were super friendly and there were so many options on the menu. This time around, I opted for the tobokki and some mochi donuts. The tobokki serving was large. The rice cakes were dressed in a perfectly balanced sauce, alongside a ton of veggies. This perfect balance of spice and sweetness is really what made this dish stand out from other places. And the donuts were just *chefs kiss. My son and husband love these so I had to pick some up. I'd describe this as Korean style food, ordering like chipotle, not crazy spicy unless you want it to be. Very approachable, healthy, well cooked food that was made with care. The food was reasonably priced, I felt there was value had but not cheap in any way. If you are looking for authentic Korean experience, probably not the right place but this was definitely a great find and will keep it in mind for a tasty healthy option on those nights I just don't want to cook.
