    Beef pho

Food is savory and decent portion with choices ranging from Japanese Vietnamese Thai. Service is good and friendly. Ambiance is casual and modest almost having that cafeteria feel.

When I came across Chopstix, I was looking for something fast, flavorful, and filling, with a reasonable price tag. This hit the spot on all four markers. Seeing the almost impossibly huge variety of Asian noodle dishes had me second guessing whether any of them were going to be good at first, but I am happy to report that most of them were. Food: I tried the tonkotsu ramen, dan dan ramen, and laksa noodle soup, all of which I liked. I also tried the Hong Kong style beef/wonton noodle soup, which unfortunately did not meet expectations (disclaimer: high standards since I lived in HK previously). Noodles were slightly overcooked and the wontons were very small. However, the flavor was still good. Service: you order at the counter, seat yourself, and then the staff bring the food out to you. I went an hour before closing so there was only one other table in the restaurant, and food came out quickly. I left feeling overall satisfied with the food, service, and ambiance of the cafe.

Wife wanted pho and I wanted ramen. Took a gamble since they have zero reviews before me. They didn't even exist on yelp . . . I got the tan tan ramen and wife got the beef noodles which is just beef pho. She said her soup was great and so was mine! We also got some chili dumplings. They were good but over priced. Overall, great experience. Maybe someone else can add the address and phone number. I couldn't find either and they had no to go menus.

Walking banff looking for a quick bite with my wife. Ordered the viet beef all/beef pho noodle, Hk style wonton/beef stew noodle, and a side of chili wonton. Pho was pretty good. Wonton/beef stew noodle soup was also good but felt that noodles were a bit soft for my taste and the amount of noodles were a little less than generous. I should asked for extra noodles. The chili wontons were the least of my favorites. The sauce was more soy sauce than chili oil. Too salty. But overall the best thing about this place was the speed of service, after I ordered, I visited the washroom to wash my hands and by the time I had returned to my table the food was already on its way to the table.

    Vegetarian Tom Yum Noodle Soup

Best Tom Yum noodle soup I have ever had. Asked to have it made vegetarian and it surpassed my expectations. Had the Red Curry with Tofu the other night and it was delicious as well. Great vegetarian-friendly spot! Highly recommend!

We wanted something warm and comforting after a long hike and came upon Chopstix. It serves a mix of Asian noodles. Both the Tantan ramen and the Laksa noodle were very flavourful. Although the Tantan was our favourite. The price is very decent. The seating area is not very fancy but it was clean and up to date. The food was delivered very quickly. There was a self service for you to get additional sauces and water. I would recommend this restaurant if you want something delicious, quick and reasonably priced.

Good Asian food choice in the town of banff. Came on busy weekend and the space is big so there is no wait.

We had the ramen and pho. The service was quick and the quality was good and not too expensive. It was open seating as well.

Average ramen, kinda dark and gloomy in the basement and bathroom. Pretty quick service though.

One roll had perfectly grilled pieces on top with avocado that added a nice smoky flavor, while the other had a great crunchy texture that balanced everything out really well. I also ordered what I believe was a matcha drink, and it paired perfectly with the meal. It was smooth, refreshing, and a nice contrast to the richness of the sushi. Everything tasted high quality and thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the whole place had a great vibe. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're in Banff and craving good sushi and a solid matcha drink. Service was great. But a little slow

Karaoke rooms available for large groups with high minimum spends. However, when it comes to the food, I've got issues. The happy hour menu boasts several discounted (half price) sushi rolls, which sound great. However, in execution, they are flooded with mayonnaise (not included in the menu's ingredients). This adds so much extra salt and oil to the sushi that it drowns out the true flavor of the fish. For the first time in my life, I couldn't finish my sushi, and I had no desire to eat any leftovers. Also, reservations are not required, but they definitely help (and require a credit card reservation). If you show up for happy hour, get there early, becasue the space fills up fast!

The place was pretty busy when we arrived for dinner. Things we tried: - Agedashi Tofu: fried tofu with a warm dashi. It was light and the dashi had nice flavor. (3.5/5 stars) - Karaage Chicken: the chicken was tender and well-seasoned. (3.5/5 stars) - Edamame: the edamame arrived at the end of our meal which was odd. It was also not cooked well and tasted like it could have been frozen and then warmed up. Disappointing. (1/5 stars) - Shoku Roll: the roll was pretty good with the salmon on top and negitoro inside. I wish they used less of the sauce and mayo on top or put it on the side instead, because it was a lot and was overpowering the fish. (4/5 stars) - Salmon Oyako Bowl: I liked the raw salmon and salmon roe part, however the cooked salmon was overcooked. The bowl also lacked flavor and required soy sauce, though I wish there was a different sauce to add to it. (4/5 stars) Overall for the food, it's okay. I'm from California so we have better food so I'm trying not to be too critical knowing it's in Banff. It's nice to have an izakaya spot in downtown Banff though. Service: mixed. The waiter was nice, however they seemed under-staffed. He had too many tables so service was slow and we struggled with flagging him down when we needed a refill or the check.

She was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and spot-on with her recommendations for both drinks and appetizers. For starters, we ordered the Fior Loaf Buttered Cheese Bread, which was warm, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. Our family tried a variety of entrées, and every single one impressed: * Maple Salmon Prawns - flavorful and beautifully prepared * Mafalda Limone Pasta - bright, creamy, and comforting * Roasted Harvest Chicken - cooked perfectly with great seasoning * Bison Burger - juicy, unique, and packed with flavor To finish, we indulged in dessert with the Maple Crème Brûlée and the Hot Chocolate Soufflé--both outstanding and the perfect ending to a great meal.
