Omelette and potatoes. The potatoes were awesome, the omelette really good despite being meatless.

I'm pretty much a carnivore, so I was skeptical about having brunch here, but it turned out well. Service was good, the outside patio was a great place to eat, and most importantly the food was yummy! I had an omelette with cheese and mushrooms, which was good, but the best part was the potatoes - each cube was slightly crunchy on the outside and melty on the inside.

Came here for cocktails and olives. Love the big green olives, served warm - has pits. The menu no longer had the one I wanted but once I mentioned this to the bartender he said he could make it as they have the old recipes! - Kyoto Sunrise 12/10 best cocktail in town. Anti-everything - 8/10 Gone south - 10/10, was really surprised how much I liked this one too. In the weeds - me 6/10, boyfriend 9/10 wayyy to strong flavor for me but i admit very unique taste.

Busy Skijoring weekend in Banff. The folks couldn't have been more pleasant under the conditions. The ambiance is groove and the food to match.

Lovely place! Enjoyed tasty vegan menu items sitting outside under and umbrella whilst people watching. Staff is super cool!!!!!!! Kimchi vegan burger is dynamite. Vegan poutine was nice. Many vegan options- all are good! MUST GO HERE!

We arrived around 8pm for dinner on June 9th. While most of the staff were friendly, there was one waitress (wearing all black, backwards cap & pigtails, & a gruff voice) who made it very unpleasant for us. I thought she might be playing real life diner dash because she performed drive-by service (asking us and other tables "Is the food good?" While walking fast and we barely had time to answer). When we mentioned to her that the mushroom ravioli was undercooked and pointed out the white hard bit of pasta that hadn't been cooked, she said "I'll see what I can do" and stepped inside for half a second before coming back to our table and saying, "No, nothing I can do sooorrry." It made us question whether she was wanted to create the illusion that she was doing something about it. After that, without even telling us, she stopped serving us and another waiter began to serve us. It was so bizarre. The food itself was OK. We wanted to support a vegan/ vegetarian restaurant but the experience left a bad taste in our mouth.

Half restaurant half bar? Either way, the service was very friendly & the food was good. It's all vegetarian or vegan but there are so many options. The portions were also very generous. I had the kimchi burger & it was very flavorful, which I think mostly comes from all the sauces they have to use. My friend & I shared the poutine & it had a little twist to it.

I came here for a nice birthday lunch and it was such a wonderful meal. The ambiance here is wonderful with all of the unique lighting and fantastic music. We ordered several appetizers including the gyoza, hummus plate and nachos. They were all so good but I really loved the vegan nachos! For my main course I had the ramen salad with tofu and it was wholesome, refreshing and tasty. Even though we all gorged ourselves, we all felt amazing after! Vegan food is always so satisfying and the food at nourish is especially satisfying and leaves you feeling revitalized afterwards. Our server was very kind, down to earth and offered great hiking suggestions. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, whether you're vegan or not!

100% recommend going to this restaurant even if you're not vegan/vegetarian. The vibe was chill and the ambiance was beautiful! The owner was really sweet. The service was fast! Coming to the food part, I would highly recommend getting the Kimchi burger. It was so flavorful and good size burger. Loved every bite of it. The fries that came along with were freshly made. We also ordered the Avocado smash with side of Chickpea omelette. It was really yum too! I had the iced chocolate chai. Again so refreshing and a great drink to pair with burger. Definitely going back next time we visit Banff!

I had the ravioli with them, mushrooms and a lot of decorations, including some strawberries. It was excellent and then I had the house salad, which was maybe even better-- beet and carrot carrot strings and house dressing.

Blown away by how delicious the food was! Our server, Jack, was incredibly friendly and made great recommendations. We got the gyoza, kimchi burger, nourishment bowl, and fruit bowl. Everything was amazing and presented beautifully. It's such a happy feeling when people care about the food they are making. I wish we could have tried more from the menu.

Chose this place for my birthday lunch as they offer vegan dishes and glad I did! I ordered the kimchi burger and was very happy with it; all fresh, great flavor. My husband (a meat fan) ordered the potstickers and said those were the best potstickers he ever had! Then he ordered the trio of dips which he said were okay. My kids had mac'n'cheese, non-vegan, and did not like it (I tasted it and it was rather bland.) Service was great and I very much enjoyed my meal!

    Falafel salad delicious!!

It came piping hot, topped with rotisserie chicken chunks, chorizo, red onion slices, mushrooms, a cream sauce base and a chipotle ranch drizzle. Perfecto! The place was pretty busy when we arrived for dinner. Things we tried: - Agedashi Tofu: fried tofu with a warm dashi. It was light and the dashi had nice flavor. (3.5/5 stars) - Karaage Chicken: the chicken was tender and well-seasoned. (3.5/5 stars) - Edamame: the edamame arrived at the end of our meal which was odd. It was also not cooked well and tasted like it could have been frozen and then warmed up. Disappointing. (1/5 stars) - Shoku Roll: the roll was pretty good with the salmon on top and negitoro inside. I wish they used less of the sauce and mayo on top or put it on the side instead, because it was a lot and was overpowering the fish. (4/5 stars) - Salmon Oyako Bowl: I liked the raw salmon and salmon roe part, however the cooked salmon was overcooked. The bowl also lacked flavor and required soy sauce, though I wish there was a different sauce to add to it. (4/5 stars) Overall for the food, it's okay. I'm from California so we have better food so I'm trying not to be too critical knowing it's in Banff. It's nice to have an izakaya spot in downtown Banff though. Service: mixed. The waiter was nice, however they seemed under-staffed. He had too many tables so service was slow and we struggled with flagging him down when we needed a refill or the check.

We were on our honeymoon and ended up dining at Juniper three separate times during our trip. That alone should say something. The food quality, consistency, and service were exceptional every single visit. Attentive without hovering, warm, knowledgeable, and effortlessly professional, she made each meal feel special and memorable. On a honeymoon, that level of care matters, and she nailed it. The food deserves its own spotlight. The Eggs Benedict is the best we've ever had. Perfectly executed, balanced, rich without being heavy, and clearly made with intention. The Churro French Toast is unforgettable: indulgent, crisp, soft, and expertly seasoned. Beavertails came up and we saw they had shops within Banff, so we decided to try them out after our lunch. They had a flavor called "mEHple" and since maple syrup is also a Canada staple, we figured this would be a good pick. What we didn't notice was the chocolate drizzle that was on top of the maple syrup in the menu photo. The chocolate overwhelmed the entire dessert, and was a bit too much for our group. The pastry was good, crispy and flaky, but we really couldn't get through the entire thing without getting a huge bite of chocolate syrup. I think if they had put less chocolate, or even removed the chocolate altogether and just left the maple syrup, that would've been way better!

Since maple is also something that screams Canada, we opted for the mEHple flavor. Unfortunately, it was a bit of a letdown. The pastry itself was good as it was light and flaky but still crispy, and we enjoyed the maple flavor. However, there was so much chocolate drizzled onto it that all we could taste was the overwhelming Hershey's chocolate drizzle-like taste. We didn't notice the chocolate drizzle on the menu photo, although I noticed there are a few different menus floating around, and some show the chocolate drizzle while others don't. However I saw a photo uploaded from a different Yelper of their mEHple pastry, and they had way less chocolate on theirs. I think it had to potential to be delicious, but it's just unfortunate that it was loaded with so much chocolate to the point where we couldn't really taste anything else. There were 6 of us that shared one BeaverTail and yet we couldn't even finish it. Overall, it was cool to try a uniquely Canadian dessert, but would recommend staying away from the ones with chocolate drizzle...or at least asking the staff to go light on the drizzle.
