Favorites were pan fried rice noodle with beef (乾炒牛河) and the tofu with assorted meat and seafood served in a clay pot (八珍豆腐堡). The squid was super chewy in that clay pot, but otherwise all the other meats we ordered were nicely cooked. I would skip the mapo tofu next time; the flavor depended more on the mala and less actual spicy, there was barely any meet in the dish, and the tofu chunks were small and irregular. But our parents were so happy to have Chinese food that we went twice in 3 days! The service was nice and efficient; they kept our waters full and spoke English, Mandarin Chinese, and Cantonese. They are a short 10 minute walk from the main downtown area and have a free parking lot. If you're craving some Chinese food, be sure to swing by!

It came with a sweet red chili sauce I believe. I think that pairing was okay. Sauce wise, I would have preferred an aioli or none at all. The gyoza were also made the same - juicy on the inside and had a crispy outer wonton shell. This sauce was spicy though! So if your spicy tolerance is low, taste at your own risk. My partner loved it! I just can't handle that spice level. Onto my main dish, the Yuzu-Shio was great for the chilly night! Ramen was perfectly cooked and had a bouncy chew to it. The pork was not too fatty and also tender. The spinach and bamboo shoots were great additional toppings.
