The first few bites were good but I may consider sharing that next time or just getting something else. It's a small shop, so we didn't get a chance to ask how long wait would be, but judging by the 10 min wait we did, the turnover seemed fairly quick. We just did a quick walk around the nearby grocery store and back and our table was ready. Between the four of us, we shared Chicken Karaage (2 orders) and a Pork Gyoza. My partner got the Arashi Ramen while I got the Yuzu-Shio Ramen. Order came out quickly. The Chicken Karaage was fried pretty nicely. Juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. It came with a sweet red chili sauce I believe. I think that pairing was okay. Sauce wise, I would have preferred an aioli or none at all. The gyoza were also made the same - juicy on the inside and had a crispy outer wonton shell. This sauce was spicy though! So if your spicy tolerance is low, taste at your own risk. My partner loved it! I just can't handle that spice level. Onto my main dish, the Yuzu-Shio was great for the chilly night! Ramen was perfectly cooked and had a bouncy chew to it. The pork was not too fatty and also tender. The spinach and bamboo shoots were great additional toppings. I wish they swap out the salad leaves with some more hearty veggies since the salad leaves break down with the hot soup pretty easily. Otherwise it was a great and satisfying dinner. (I work in the healthcare field and see people don gloves on a daily basis). The waitress is busy, since she was by herself, going from table to table, from kitchen to tables, serving them food, giving them plates, silverware, napkins, getting their payments, touching everything from door handles to pitchers to fill glasses with water, to cleaning the tables with rags - all while wearing the same pair of gloves. That is a serious infection control issue, especially because she is touching the plates containing the food which the customers eat. I hope she will practice glove and hand hygiene, since a lot of people come here.
