Large cheese & pepperoni pizza with sweet red sauce
    Clark S.

Being from Western NY, there are a plethora of awesome pizza places to go to. This past Sunday, the family decided to try out this pizza place in Gasport. It's right next to a Dollar General and a bar & grill of the same name. It's pretty easy to see it from the road and there is a good amount of parking spots. We got a parking spot right at the door. Now I didn't run in there so I didn't see if there was anyplace to sit and eat or how clean it was inside. We ended up ordering a large cheese & pepperoni pizza with a sweet red sauce (kind of like how Mark's has one...) Overall, the pizza came out fine and tasted fine! The crust was thin (thinner than what most pizza places offer around here) but the ingredients tasted good. For a group of three adults, we were able to eat the whole pizza without feeling too full afterwards. Overall, this was a pretty "safe" pizza: nothing bad about it but nothing stood out. We were glad to give this place a shot.

The Chopper- barbecued sausage and steak.

I ordered food from Chop's yesterday just for the heck of it and I honestly feel like it's a crime that I grew up 10 minutes from there and it was only my first time trying food from there! I got the Chopper sub, which is barbecued sausage and steak together. It was a little messy, but so delicious. My brother and friends of our rave about the sweet sauce for their pizza, so I'll have to go back again and try that too. It's a small place, but they seem to get a lot of business, so I'd recommend ordering ahead of time. I had a 45 minute wait, but I was out running errands anyway, so the wait worked out for me. I for sure recommend the Chopper from Chop's!

    Wayyy undercooked wings. Raw skin

The pizza they make is OK. Garlic crust is like any garlic crust you can get from pizza places that do flavored crusts now. Their prices are way too high for the location and food that they offer. I work and live very close to this restaurant and I have a lot of experience with their food. The salads, pizzas, and pizza logs are good and worth trying but they have the worst chicken wings I have ever tried anywhere. They are always RAW! The skin is rubbery and meat undercooked....even after I said extra crispy and it happened 3 times. Just get chicken fingers not wings. They use char and cup pepperoni and don't have the classic pepperoni so keep that in mind! I wish they would change soooo much stuff but I doubt they will.

Awful. They mess up my order EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. The pizza and subs are just gross. And its safe to say that the staff is just as awful.

I almost always order pizza (sweet sauce and garlic crust) but the last few were definitely lacking flavor on the crust.

Ever since Bent's Opera House opened, I've been curious and wanted a reason to try Harvest for…read moredinner. The opportunity finally presented itself and, overall, it was a really nice experience! Three of us had made reservations for 6pm on a Thursday and when we arrived, there were zero issues. Parking for Harvest is primarily street parking but there are smaller parking lots nearby. The interior comes across fancy, modern, with nice views of Main St. and as you walk in to the dining room, the open-kitchen to our left and a warmly lit, nicely stocked bar to our right. We were seated at a table towards the middle of the dining room. At 6pm, most tables were empty but when we were leaving there were a good amount of people at both the bar and seated in the dining room, so it seems like people tend to come for a later meal. Our waitress came over and poured us waters and provided drink and food menus. This was a first for me - the menus lit up! Our waitress though was incredibly courteous and personable, she did a fantastic job checking on us. To kick the evening off, I ordered their Honey Hibiscus cocktail, which is mezcal, Grand Marnier, hibiscus, ginger, honey, cinnamon, lime, and fee foam. This was a nicely balanced cocktail with a more floral, fruity flavor. With the open kitchen concept, it was neat to see the chef and cooks working on our meals as we relaxed, talked, and munched on some warmed focaccia-like bread with a freshly made balsamic, olive oil, herb dip. The bread was so soft with the perfect amount of chew on the crust/exterior, and served warm. For dinner, I ordered Pappardelle Mornay and added (perfectly grilled) chicken breast for a few more dollars, which is simply pappardelle pasta in a creamy cheese mornay. Our waitress crushed some black pepper atop my dish before I started in. This was excellent - The pasta itself tasted so fresh, the cheese mornay was indeed very creamy, and the grilled chicken breast was cooked, seasoned, cut, and portioned perfectly. I am really glad I added the chicken breast to this dish as I'm not sure the pasta itself would've filled me up. I'd definitely order this again! To wrap up our meal, since it was Thursday, there's a "1/2 off Nightcaps" special, so each of us enjoyed a cold foam espresso martini afterward, which is coffee-infused vodka, Nue vodka, FAIR Café liqueur, dark crème de cacao, Steamworks espresso, chocolate bitters, vanilla syrup, and topped with an infused cold foam, which we went with the Frangelico Hazelnut cold foam, and a few espresso beans. This was ridiculously rich and delish! Harvest is an intimate, elevated dining experience, designed to have you stay a while, relax, and enjoy a more personal meal. All of us really enjoyed our evening here and have nothing but high praise for the staff and quality food. This isn't a fast, casual, cheap sit-down meal, but it's an experience worth the higher price. I look forward to coming back!

It's located on 1st floor of an upscale boutique hotel in what used to be an old bank (they still display the vault). My parents have gone numerous times, but this was my first visit. The interior decor is beautiful & upscale, including comfy chairs, and tables are not packed together. The live piano music was a nice touch, though we all agreed a tad loud to support dinner conversation. From start to finish, everything was pleasing, beginning with cocktails, the Bison ribs app, root salad, & entrees. We didn't order dessert, but I saw some others getting delivered, and they looked delicious. Service was excellent. We'll be back!

The server attended to us immediately. She was kind and took good care of us. She really did. I hate being asked repeatedly how I like my food, or do I need anything, or the worst "are you still working on it" or "do you need a box" when I'm in the middle of my meal. It could be very distracting. Audriana was great! She was at our table exactly when we needed her and not more or less. I had a wonderful time gazing out the window (super clean by the way), and enjoying the beautiful, peaceful view. It felt romantic, even with the air conditioning on right next to me. The food? It could have been much better if the kitchen had paid more attention to detail. The French Onion Soup, for example, was tasty, but only slightly warm. Also, the fries and Cheese Curds appetizer were too salty. We call it 'restaurant salty'. To some, it could taste perfectly fine. My Falls Chicken Sandwich was really delectable, but its name was a little bit misleading. I was expecting something to stand out from a regular chicken sandwich:). The Reuben sandwich was buttery and more buttery and "it tasted as good as it looked", that's what I was told. Still, the rye bread was too heavily buttered. The Burgers and Jack Daniel's Chicken looked very palatable. Maybe next time:)

First thing to know is they have a great view right on the water, a nice outdoor patio, and as the name suggests a cozy log cabin feel. I ordered the shrimp mac and cheese, when I ordered they asked fried or grilled and I said grilled so I was a little bummed when it came out with fried shrimp, but I like fried shrimp too so I wasn't too concerned. But our server remembered and brought me out a small bowl of grilled which I though was really nice. Mine came with a salad and I enjoyed it a lot. Good food, great ambiance, I will definitely be back. It isn't far off the Pembroke exit on the 90, so stop by when driving through!
