Stopped by a few weeks ago for dinner...the location and decor were great and the staff was very welcoming. I got the chicken wings which were delicious . My husband got the French onion soup which I was planning to share and a reuben. The French onion soup was tasty but the cheese on top was burned...everything else was great. Will definitely plan a return visit!!!

We stopped for dinner early on a Saturday evening. We were seated immediately. The interior is that of a rustic log cabin, perfect for its spot at the falls on Tonawanda creek. I started with a crock of the French onion soup, and while I did enjoy it, the cheese on top was burned. I also got the rueben sandwich and fries which were very good. My wife ordered chicken wings, and got a bonus double wing! We will definitely stop by again in the future.

Under new ownership, awesome atmosphere. Right on the falls. Good music and vibe. All ages... literally. All enjoying their food and drink! Jack Daniel's chicken with slaw and mashed potatoes/gravy. Amazing. Special: garbage burger. Excellent sauce - cooked perfect. Service was excellent! Nice Glow up! We are coming back when the patio is warm and hopping!

This is a must see spot. A restaurant and full bar right next to Indian Falls. The log cabin vibe is off the hook. Large parking lot with lots of lighting close to the restaurant. Very hometown friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Clean, smells good, and fun. Pete is an amazing bartender and cook. He whipped us up a batch of Pete's 20 piece wings with homemade blue cheese as a side kicker. Soooooooooooooo gooooooooood we sat at the bar, heard stories of the falls , and enjoyed being in the presence of the locals. The drinks were cold, the food was hot and the service was spot on. If you are in the area please do yourself a favor and stop in.

Yuck! So I am sad to write this as I really really wanted to love this place. Setting spot on Food- different, interesting and only reason they are getting two stars! Ambience- has potential but the place is dirty, the bathroom gross and the weeds are out of control Service- woof! It was so bad.....we arrived around noon on a Thursday.... It was busy, we asked to sit out side and got a quick attitude from the one server who said "I don't have anyone covering the outside so no". We did end up getting a table over looking the falls, which was great! But the couple that came in after us and the group after them all got to sit outside- and no one new showed up to serve ‍‍ weird how that works. The food took forever to come out. My son asked several time for a class of water- it took over 15 Minutes to get one. Whenever, we asked for anything it we got a free eye roll!!! But the eye rolls were nothing to the nasty comment I got when I got up after waiting for a while to get to go boxes. Needless to say it was a teachable moment for my kids, they had the opportunity to experience how to handle themselves when someone else is clearly having a bad day. I would love to go back but it won't be for a long time as I don't know how I would handle the snottiness a second time.

My visit here was unexpected, as we started our journey at a delightful shop in Lancaster & meandered our way around WNY, searching for a good lunch spot. When my companions and I arrived, the restaurant had just opened for business. There were a handful of vehicles in the large parking lot, and we were seated on the patio immediately. I was thrilled that we got a seat by the water, and the screened windows were open, to allow a light breeze & the sound of the Falls to accompany our meal. The boneless chicken bites were brought as an appetizer, not with the rest of our meal, and we were never offered refills on our drinks, though the meal itself was tasty. Our server did apologize for the delay in getting our food, after waiting quite a bit, by saying there was a party of 13 she was also attending. By the time we were able to get the check, pay, and leave, the parking lot was full of motorcyclists and a handful of ATVs. My suggestion is to order fast if you arrive as soon as they open, or perhaps come between lunch & dinner, to be able to enjoy the good, sights, and sounds of the Falls, especially if you're on a schedule.

We didn't reserve in advance (which I now highly recommend). The wait was about an hour, but we passed the time at the nearby Churchill with a pre‑drink, and they texted us when our table was ready. Service for both drinks and food was quick, and the cozy Irish pub atmosphere made it even better. Definitely try to reserve ahead on the website if you can. If not, just plan to relax at one of the nearby pubs until your table is ready.

Parking in NOTL always a bit of a challenge especially if you don't want to pay! Wife enjoyed her 1+1 - 2 different fish filets with chips. I had the Irish Experience of three different meat pies. Each did have a unique taste. A filling and interesting dish. Murphy's stout on tap was Devine. Wife found her NA Moscow mule good but, given no alcohol, she felt the serving volume was low. Less than $100 CA all-in seemed reasonable for a fairly authentic Irish meal.

Fourth of July 2025 weekend, I finally had a chance to grab a burger with them and holy moly, they were so right - This might be the best burger I've ever eaten! We arrived around 3:30pm on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised to grab a parking spot on the street, practically right in front of the entrance to Butcher's Son! They're located at one end of Market St. in Corning, now I don't frequent Corning often so I don't know if there's a big parking lot or more side streets to park along, but I could definitely foresee this street being packed with people and cars during the week. I think the time we arrived was a big part as to why we had no trouble getting a parking spot as well as being able to easily find a table after placing our order. The three of us walked in and it really is a butcher shop that has a small menu of burgers, fries, and specialty sandwiches (I saw a steak sandwich on their menu). There was a large, bar-style table with stools to sit along in the front with a station full of cutlery, napkins, packaged ketchup, stuff like that, nothing too fancy but clean and orderly. A courteous, friendly gentleman took our food order and told us to grab a seat anywhere we like and they'd get our food to us. We ended up taking over one of the tables, with an umbrella, outside and we were the only ones out there! It was nice to sit, talk, hang out for a bit, the relaxed, quiet atmosphere was nice. About 10-15 minutes later, all of orders were boxed up and brought out to us. For my late lunch/early dinner meal, I ordered the Fun Guy Burger, which is two smashed beef patties topped with sautéed mushrooms and onions, bacon jam, and Swiss cheese, along with a side of their hand-cut shoestring fries. Oh. My. Goodness! Wow, was this burger out of this world good. That had to be the freshest, juiciest, perfectly-cooked burger patties I have ever eaten. There were tons of sautéed mushrooms and onions on top and they were incredibly generous with the bacon jam. The Swiss cheese was melted just right and paired so well with the other toppings. The bun was toasted and held everything together very well. The burger itself is big and is honestly the perfect portion as you'll certainly be full without feeling any sort of "meat sweats"! haha They were very generous with the portion of fries as well. Personally, I liked the way these fries were cooked where they weren't crispy/crunchy but they weren't limp at all. Whatever they were fried in gave these fries an awesome flavor without having a ton of salt and pepper thrown on them. I really liked their fries; I'm not a huge fry-person but these would probably be at the top of my list. Another thing that I have to call out was how reasonable their prices were. Coming from Buffalo, burger prices are really expensive for what you get but Butcher's Son, my meal - burgers, fries, water, probably came near $20, maybe a few cents over that, which in 2025, is phenomenal value! My family told me that Butcher's Son came in first place in the New York Beef Council's "Best NY Burger" competition for 2025. My family and the competition judges are spot on and Butcher's Son totally deserves, and earned, the accolades and awards. Everything from the staff, the focused menu, the quality food, the portions, are great! Next time I'm in Corning, I can't wait to come back here and grab another burger and fries!
