We are new to the neighborhood and trying all the pizza places to find our new favorite. This time was Ronny's time to shine. We had some friends coming over to help us unpack and we needed enough food to feed us all. I am glad to say that this order accomplished the job. We all had plenty to eat and still had leftovers. We ordered a sheet cheese and pepperoni pizza with some medium and BBQ wings. The pizza was cheesy and the pepperoni was generous on the pizza. The sauce here is really good and it balances out between being a traditional or a sweet sauce. The wings were really good. Crispy and full of flavor. I wasn't a huge fan of the BBQ sauce on the one half but thought the medium had the perfect amount of spice and sauce. We had it delivered but I picked up from here again another day and love the old school vibe of the place including the menu board. That's always a good indicator the place is going to be good. Right now this is one of our top choices for pizza. We will have to see if it holds up as our new pizza spot. read more

Ordered breadsticks and the lady who took my order kept saying pizza. After 10-15 minutes, I received the "breadsticks". They were literally hot dog buns with garlic. They even opened on the side and everything. Definitely not what we ordered. Disappointed to say the least. read more

Ordered the Wednesday pizza special for 11.99 and a 10 piece medium wing on the eve of Thanksgiving. HOW they can do a pizza for that price is beyond me. It's great and gobbled up . We asked for the wings extra crispy and had to wait a few more minutes but worth the wait. No leftovers. When we called they said 30 minutes and it was that ! Nice that the time is spot on! The thing about Buffalo is that we have so many amazing pizza options and I've tried MANY of them. I was so incredible underwelmed with this flavorless, dry, pre-frozen pizza that it easily gets placed in my bottom 2 worst pizzas I've ever had. The sauce was dry, the crust was flavorless & we could still see the individual shreds of cheese because it wasn't cooked enough. It almost tasted like a large pizza lunchable. We ended up throwing away half of it. The wings were okay. A little slimy with very little crispiness. The BBQ sauce and the Hot sauces they used were good. I personally didn't care for the blue cheese, it was watery and you don't get to the chunks until you drain the liquid and get to the bottom. I like to be able to dip my wing and have some stay on the wing but this dripped everywhere. It does seem to be a favorite by the locals, or atleast a name that I've heard alot when discussing pizza around here but wow, our experience was pretty awful. read more

I hadn't been to Ronny's in a while. My mother wanted a small vegetarian pizza, and Ronny's is on my way to her house, so I ordered from there. I picked up the best looking vegetarian pizza I've ever seen in my life! The toppings were piled high, and FULLY covered the pizza, no skimping at all. Ronny's get a gold star. Our food tonight was especially good! The bbq wings were perfectly charred. They were still piping hot when we got them home and were just the right amount of sticky-meaty goodness. Ronny's is one of the few places you can count on for consistently good wings. The fries were golden and crisp on the outside, hot and soft inside- ever bite like perfectly fried pillows of potato. And to top it off were the new apple logs with icing with can only be described as a more delicious apple empanada rolled like an egg roll filled with a hot apple pie type filling served with a sweet gooey icing. OK, I said before I was done with them, but my wife saw that they were now offering a thin crust pizza so I decided to try them again. So we ordered the thin crust pizza and wings, and both were very good. Ronny's always did have great wings, but I really liked the thin crust pizza. The pizza was cheese and pepperoni, and I liked the sauce, which was not sweet for a change. I'm not a fan of sweet sauce, so I was happy with that. The crust is just right and being thin, baked thoroughly. In short, Ronny's pizza and wings are both very good. I still cannot recommend the other items on the menu. read more

I got it all over my face when I was inside Folsom Prison. Oh wait. I'm supposed to be talking about Pizza. The pizza here certainly wasn't awful but it also wasn't great. They have some major customer service issues... just in the time I was there, the person in front of me waited ages only to find out they'd made the wrong order for her. I was behind her and only wanted a slice, I probably waited 10 minutes before I was asked what I wanted. The slice was heated up a little but not nearly hot enough for me. I had another customer service issue the 3rd time I came here which was that they told me on the phone a fresh slice pie was coming out, but when I got there, the pizza was stale and old and cold. She gave me 2 for the price of 1 which was lovely of her, but I'm not sure why they told me that on the phone just 15 mins earlier. The people are nice though, and the pizza is not bad... pretty average Buffalo pizza. So why do I keep going back? Because they seem to be open later than the others in the area, so when I want a slice (usually for friends), they end up getting "frequented". All that aside, I have nothing against this pizza place and I wish them luck, but I much prefer the one across the street. However I've heard good things about the wings here so at some point I will have to try them. read more

We have walked or driven past this place many, many times, especially since our mechanic is across the street. Finally ordered takeout after smelling the fries on an evening walk. Delivery was great and smooth, the delivery guy was polite and professional despite us not having a functioning door bell, I wish I had caught his name. The Wednesday night special was a large pizza plus a topping of our choice. I'm a sucker for a thick pizza, which this definitely was. The fries were good too, not exceptional, but good. As a sidenote, I really liked that the pizza wasn't super greasy and didn't fall apart while we ate it. I look forward to stopping in again when that's possible. read more

Ordered pizza and wings this past weekend from Ronny's for the first time in years and was pleasantly surprised! Probably the best wings I've had in many years. Lots of sauce on them and it tasted like the oil it was cooked in had been recently changed. Didn't have a greasy taste or smell. Just the right amount of crispness to them. Pizza was good as well, sauce was decent (crust a little bland but I dip it in blue cheese anyway which was excellent). I can't say I am a fan of their pizza, but I don't go there for that. I lived around the corner and would order their chicken fingers religiously. Since moving to florida (where they have no idea what chicken fingers are, imagine Tyson chicken tenders, yuck!) so when I visited this past weekend, I made my mom trek from tonawanda to Lancaster to get my fix, and I was NOT disappointed. I ordered a Sausage Supreme sub a few days ago, and when I got home it was wrong. They made just a plain Italian sausage. So I called and they tell me they can make a new one or give me a credit. I didn't feel like waiting, so I just took the credit. Tonight I get a sub and call and asked to use my credit, and they were fine with it. Which they usually are very good about. When I get home this time the sausage supreme, is completely burnt. All you taste is burnt sausage.This is my usual go to with them. But this one you can't even eat. I have a theory that whenever you go into a pizza place and they have one of those glass spinning pizza warmers, the pizza probably isn't going to be that good. So I think Ronny's is decent. It's a mystery why there sheet pizzas can be so thick and deep crust-ish and a large pie can't be. It's almost night and day. I like the deeper dish or even buffalo style but thats my choice when i consider an order.Ronnie's has spicy pepperoni and their sauce is ok but inconsistent between there pie options is a black eye for me. Had the food for the first time last night. One of my co-workers brought in a sheet pizza cheese pep and 50 hot wings. Several of us ate and didn't leave any scraps. Pizza was perfect Buffalo style pizza crisp pepperoni and a solid cook on it. The wings were nice sized had a perfect hot flavor. Two other things about the wings stood out to me, they were not messy at all and were cooked perfect. Everyone enjoyed what we had. I have lived close to this pizzaria for 6 years, and we used to get pizza from them all the time. Service is usually good. I also do appreciate that they contribute to fundraisers on occasion. However, about 2 or 3 years ago, when I ordered a large cheese and pepperoni, the pizza was overcooked. I am not one for burnt/hard cheese so it was quite a disappointment the first time. However, I try and give them sporadic orders, but have been disappointed every time, as our pizza has been overcooked EVERY TIME. Other food is good, such as subs and fried food. Service speed is irregular...for lunch they are great and very fast. For dinner thou when the second shift works they are rude and are very slow. I had to wait 45 min for my order because they forgot about my order even thou I was asked 3 times what I ordered. That was one of my worst expierences there. I had the opportunity and pleasure to meet the owner and was impressed by her passion for the business. They still make their own blue cheese! Their secret is high quality food and top customer service. The pizza and wings are fantastic. I have to say one of the higher quality pizza recipes in the area.
