Such good food and drinks here!! The fried chicken is perfectly fried, saucy, and moist. The most impressive thing was how flavorful and savory their vegetarian sandwich was, so much to the point where I tried to recreate it at home. Would go back just for that vegetarian sandwich. The cocktail menu changes every once in a while and it has a range to appeal to every type of drinker--from classics to sugary sweet creations. Think about this place often on Fridays when I want to unwind or want to show an out-of-town person the gems of Providence. The ambient noise of people gathering in this venue with indoor seating, outdoor seating, and bar seats on a weekend reminds me a lot of home (New York) and that's often is hard to come by. Came here for the first time on a recommendation from a friend. Incredible food and great vibes. The huge windows were wide open and we were able to sit inside- but felt like we were on the patio. The flavor combinations of the menu items lets you know that a lot of love goes into how the menu is created and how the food is prepared. My husband and I were looking for a dog-friendly restaurant and found Chomp! They have tables out front where you can enjoy your food with your pups. This might be one of the best places I've been to during the covid pandemic. The minute you walk in staff literally stopped what they were doing to make sure you're taken care of. Sat down, ordered and everything came out at a fast pace. The drinks, wings and mac n cheese were perfect! I ordered a chicken sandwich, which I thought had ketchup on it, but ended up having dark thick hot sauce, which I didn't like at all, but that was my fault for not reading what I was ordering correctly. Spent the weekend in Providence, one of my favorite cities with great food and drink options around the area. This place was no exception! I've heard many good things about this place and finally got a chance to check it out. Located near downtime they have off street parking which can understandably be a little tricky. Good cocktail menu, I opted for Blood Orange Margarita, great flavor wish it came with an option for a salted rim. My partner got a beer from Bissell Brothers which is nice to be able to get on draft, they had a impressive selection of stuff to select from such as Other Half. Now to the food! They specialize in burgers and fried chicken sandwiches. I got the Chili Crisp which had pickled bahn mi. Very good sandwich would definitely got this again. My bf got the standard Chomp Hot Chicken with fries. His sandwich had cut up dill pickles, buttermilk ranch and their hot chicken sauce. He said the mix of sauces provided a smoky, salty flavor, wish it had a slight more heat but overall good flavor. Place has bar seating and table on the other side of the restaurant, I know they take reservations. Our waiter was very attentive as was much of the staff, we were surprised we even got a table this late on Saturday night without a reservation. Having heard several people talking about the burgers here we finally wend over the other evening. The place was bustling. We ordered a Hash burger and a House burger - both very good. As was the Caesar salad and the fries. For drinks it was an Apricot Margarita and an oatmeal Stout. Our server Art was attentive and helpful. The meal came to $70 for the two of us - quite reasonable. We were probably the oldest people in the restaurant but felt OK amongst the comings and goings. To be honest, I haven't had a true gourmet burger in a very long time. Main Dish: House Burger Side Dish: Field Green Salad Drink: Water Description: The burger was extremely good. It has a very unique flavor that really catches my attention. The sauce is creamy and it has a sweet and spicy kick that complements the entire burger really well. Everything on the burger was lied out evenly, making for an equal texture and taste within every bite. The salad was phenomenal. I'm not kidding when I say that I could eat a giant bowl of it and feel good about it. The dijon vinaigrette adds sort of an asian flavor to it, in my opinion. The lettuce is crisp and the onions are sweet. Outstanding job! Atmosphere: The interior of the restaurant is a modernized design with white brick walls mixed with cyan-gray walls. The seating is quite interesting to say the least. The chairs are mixed between each table, using tan and black wood. It's strangely executed really well lmao. The one thing I would like to point out is that the restaurant is not very spacious. The table organization is in standard rows, but the sheer space between them makes the whole room feel like a clutter. Staff: The staff was kind and willing to answer questions. Can't complain about this joint on any level. Every employee has always been curious and willing to answer questions about the beer list or menu items. The burgers are beyond anything you can expect. So, so good. The mac and cheese is stellar. They'll have random chicken sandwiches on special, and lawdy lawd, they're SO good. The french fries are literally perfect. Went to Chomp on a beautiful Thursday night and sat outside on a picnic table. I had the French Onion Burger and I must say it is in my All time TOP 3 BURGERS. The staff was friendly and the service was great! We also had the Mac n Cheese and Fries. My recommendation is to get one of the creative Burgers they have, we also had a couple of cocktails including Sangria and a Margaritas, both were on the small side but delicious. Chicken sandwiches for my wife and daughter were good, but I had the steak sandwich and there was a very large bone or branch in my sandwich, which I almost choked on it.
