The owner is so sweet here and after trying her food I was blown away! I've tried a few items off of the menu and the food is a must try if you're around here! I love the owner and the food and I would highly recommend it to anyone

If you work in Galleria/Uptown Area a decent place for viet food in a mom & pops deli joint inside the building.. You can park in the back and enter the back entrance (closer to the caferteria) My lunch was $10 and some change. Quite pricey for a ok viet food. I order the Buon Bo Nuong (charboiled beef vermicilli) and two pieces of Egg rolls. Probably the worst egg rolls I ever ate. I will not recommend the egg rolls. I don't know what herb or seasoning they used. I coudn't even tell what filling it was because there was so much egg roll dough. My Buon Bo Nuong was a good portion. The noodles were a little over cooked and no onions in my beef! Onions are like the main part of that dish! However, tons of Peanuts on it. Beef is well sesaoned. I'll check it out another time and try the other specialites they have.

Do note, they only open on weekdays and the close at 4pm. I've been wanting to try this place for the longest time, but I could never make it for their hours, which is understandable since its inside a building. I wish my work building had this restaurant. I would honestly go every week! The owner even gives you a bag with your sauces (if your order contains a sauce) and utensils. We all loved this touch. It saves us the trouble of having to get it ourselves. My friend ordered the bun thit nuong (vermicelli pork) and I took a bite to try it. It was delicious. Large portion with great flavors. They even pickled the carrots just right. My friend and I also shared an order of the crispy wings. I believe there is a splash of fish sauce on the batter, but it was so tasty. I ordered the fried fish platter. It was so good. I wish it came with fried rice instead of fries, but that just makes me want to come back and order a dish with fried rice. haha

This cafeteria is located inside the Spirit of Texas Bank building on the 1st floor and there's a general cafeteria style seating within. I ordered pho with meat balls and crispy chicken wings. The pho broth was just right with the flavoring and not salty at all. Plenty of noodles, veggies, and meat balls in the soup. The crispy chicken wings were great with my pho.

Fall off the bone BBQ Ribs! (Thurs only Lunch Special)

Good prices, fast, friendly service, and their daily specials are perfect if you are in a hurry to grab a wholesome meal around the N. Post Oak area. This is a great alternative to fast food and especially if you don't like fighting lunch our traffic. The portions are good especially on a select few of their daily specials- BBQ Chicken (Wed.), Fried Fish (Fri.), BBQ ribs (Thurs.). I know this because I happen to work in a building within walking distance from here and frequent there on a weekly basis. Now, I have to tell you my favorite daily special is their BBQ ribs special which is only served on Thursdays. 9 times out of 10 the meat falls off the bone and they include a generous helping of potato salad and green beans. It's for this reason that I look forward to going to work on Thursdays, just so I can order this meal from next door. :-) if I'm really hungry, their 1/2 BBQ rotisserie chicken is tender, moist, and very filling, but this is only available on Wednesdays. Tip: You can call in your order for pickup if you are in a hurry. They usually have my order ready in about 5 minutes. Types of food: American, Asian, Healthy salads. That's all I have to say about that -- Is it Thursday yet?

My favorite things to get: Vietnamese pork sandwich Vietnamese chicken with vermicelli Crispy wings Pepper steak Beef Lo mein Chicken pho Cheeseburgers Love all the great varieties in one spot. Especially for us tenants. Accessible, affordable, amazingly delicious! Food comes out fast too!

Hidden gem for sure! If you work (or live) close by you should check out this cafeteria. Their Vietnamese menu is great. Highly recommend this place.

Food catered behind you Choice for our law firm lunch.
    Armanius M.

I catered lunch from Choice this past week, and it was a hit with the firm. We had egg rolls, jalapeño chicken wings, combination fried rice, combination lo mein, sweet and sour chicken and beef broccoli. Food tasted great and portions were even better. We had about 25+ people eating, and there were plenty of leftovers for the following day. Pricing was very reasonable. Ms. Hua had the food ready to go at the promised time. Highly recommended!!!

The food is okay but not worth the pricing. 6.27 for a canned soda and some grapes. It's a hard pass for me.

I wanted a pork chop or steak and saw this place and their pork chop. It looked great online. When I get there I ate at the bar. It was a coffee bar. Again- I should have done more research. So I was given a menu then I ordered the pork shop. And then the waiter said is that I and proceeded to give me my total. Another thing I have researched. It's counter service. Then I said I just wanted water. I waited for it and he said we have to help ourselves to drinks (later). So ok. Fine. Then later he told me they were out of pork chops. So I got the short ribs with the grits. The ribs were tender. They were tasty. The grits were good. The veg was good as well. I'd give the food a 4 but I would think, since they make their own pastries, they would make a bread to serve with dinner! But no bread so that drops it down a point or 2. I had ordered (pre-paid) for the bread pudding. It was good, legit bread pudding. The place itself is a coffee bar so it looks and acts like a coffee bar. Now to the coffee bar. Someone there ordered and espresso drink. They don't have a knock box and so he proceeded to knock out the very old puck into a trash can under the sink then rinsed it. Then the shot glass looked like it had been there unrinsed from the morning. Then as he proceeded to make the espresso- he had to fill the espresso machine (with tap water). Last- it was Aerosmith on repeat. I like them as much as the next guy, but how about some variety. I guess if I lived in the area I might go back to try their breakfast. Anyway- I ubered there and I wish now I would have just eaten at the hotel bar.

The lox bagel is definitely the best I've had in Houston. I love lox bagels when I go to NYC and while this isn't quite there with being fully loaded (I think they're missing capers? Maybe forgot?) it's the best in the area, for sure. The bagel is chewy and flavorful and their cream cheese is excellent too. The bread pudding is a hidden gem. Amazing value, extremely sharable. Huge portions. Texture is great - soft on the bottom, not too sweet either. It's very filling. I will definitely be back!

This is the one and only location here and a great stop for all kinds of sandwiches. Their menu includes innovative offerings and iconic flavors, essentially the best of both worlds. If you're craving a classic or simple sandwich, you can get that. However, if you're looking for something special or out of this world, you can also get it. Ike's specializes in sandwiches with their Dutch Crunch bread and Dirty Sauce, both unique in its own way. Whether you're a meat lover, vegetarian, vegan, or on a gluten-free diet, their menu has it all. I personally am not a super fan of the Dutch Crunch bread since I find it a bit too harsh on the palate and somewhat dry, but love the Dirty Sauce (make it extra or on the side). I enjoy subbing the Dutch Crunch with either French or Sourdough. With over 300 unique sandwiches on the menu, there's a sandwich for everyone. My favorites have been the Menage A Trois (halal chicken, honey mustard, BBQ Sauce, real honey, pepper jack, swiss, cheddar), Ike's Reuben (pastrami, mack Sauce, purple slaw, gouda), Joker (all beef meatballs, fried zucchini, Ike's red pesto, ranch), and Grant Pinkerton, a Houston exclusive (Pinkerton Brisket, pastrami, BBQ aioli, provolone). All of my sandwiches have been stuffed and tasty, worth it! However, I find some menu items to be subpar in quality and flavor (chicken strips). The service is typically quick, efficient, and friendly. There are more than a handful of tables inside and some out on the patio. The shared parking lot can get very crowded as it is packed with lots of other businesses.

Honestly, in the beginning it was pretty rough, slow service, incorrect orders, and the sandwiches just weren't as good as what I was used to getting in California. That said, I kept coming back every now and then hoping things would improve, and I'm glad I did. My last few visits have been great. The sandwiches have been fresh and really tasty, and the customer service has been solid. I also spoke with Jose, and he mentioned he's been working hard to turn things around, and it definitely shows. Not sure why they don't have more locations yet, but I hope they expand soon!

Located in Spring Branch, this fast casual restaurant is located in the same shopping center as quite a few solid eateries including The Blind Goat, Jinya, and Feges BBQ. In fact, Stuffed Belly is owned by Christine Ha, winner of season five of Masterchef. Parking wasn't an issue in the busy yet spacious complimentary lot around the shopping center. Ambiance (3/5): Stuffed Belly is more of a grab-and-go type spot. The reason? It's quite small. There are about five seats inside and one long picnic style seating area on the small patio. That's it. The restaurant looks nice, just tiny. Service (4.5/5): You order at the counter and they let you know when your order is ready. The ordering process was smooth and we got our food within a reasonable amount of time. While service isn't a big part of the experience, I didn't run into any issues. Drinks (N/A): I didn't order any beverages on this visit. Food (3/5): I went with the belly burger (their classic burger) and an order of the loaded tots. It was a mixed bag. I love a good smash burger, it's one of my favorite types of burgers. The ingredients are all quality. The problem? One issue is that it's a pretty small burger as you can tell from my picture. A kiddie burger of sorts. The loaded tots, on the other hand, were a generous portion. I have a weakness for loaded fries. As others have mentioned in their reviews, fries are not an option at Stuffed Belly. Tots only. I like tater tots too, but it is pretty bizarre for a burger spot to not have fries on the menu. The other issue I have is that both of my items (as well as what my mom ordered) was spicy. Take this with a grain of salt as I can only handle a little spice. Still, the menu offerings packed more of a punch than I expected. Which definitely impacted my enjoyment of the meal. If you like spicy, don't sweat it. If you don't, you're probably going to feel like I did. While Stuffed Belly underdelivered a bit for me, I did come in with high expectations. The Blind Goat is much better (though more expensive) in my book. Also keep in mind that Stuffed Belly closes pretty early on several days of the week... 8 p.m.
