Coffee was good and customer service was the best. I liked the interior space and the attention to detail on wooden tables and chairs.

Yum! I ordered a light ice, nonfat honeycomb latte. It was a culinary delight. The right mix of sweet and coffee. On a Saturday morning there was only one barista who doubled as the cashier, so expect a wait time.

Quiet at 8am on a Sunday but quickly got busy. In the Nob Hill plaza a few doors down from the donut shop. Got two lattes and a chocolate fish bar. Good coffee, chocolatey undertones. Loved the fish late art. Chocolate was average milk chocolate. Feels like they could use some patio furniture but seems like they're not quite done building the space out yet. Will have to be back to try the beans. Average amount of seating, it was fully packed by the time I left.

So excited to see a new coffee shop in this area! The girls working here were all so nice and helpful. Even coming on a Tuesday at around 11am, there were many tables already filled with people chatting or on their laptops. I got an iced latte with vanilla syrup (which cost an extra 80¢). In terms of pricing, it's nothing crazy when compared to coffee shops in the area. But with tip, my coffee still ended up being over $8, which hurts. Either way, I still can't wait to come back!

Love this place! Nice clean menu, lovely biscotti and chocolate fish to buy with your coffee, and outstanding espresso, so smooth! The atmosphere is clean, minimalist and modern and really nice and warm. I love it! Service was super friendly and my Gibraltar was beautiful as well as tasty. Located in Pepper Tree Plaza with the nob Hill foods. Excited to try their sourdough toasts next time!

Stopped by around 9 AM on a Sunday and had a great experience. The service was quick, friendly, and welcoming, and the café was spotless. I loved the sophisticated interior design and the variety of seating options. It was surprisingly calm and not crowded, making it an easy place to relax and enjoy a coffee. I'll definitely be back.

    Iced Latte

I have to give this three stars because the iced latte is so milky. The espresso to milk ratio is so off it just taste like you're drinking milk. I've also noticed this with all of their other customer pictures, but I wanted to give it a try for myself. It's a very cute coffee shop, but I'd prefer to go to Panama for a good iced latte. I really hope the owner read this and change this up because the ambience is so nice and I love the location but it's just not worth six dollars for a cup of milk. I'm so disappointed!!

Hubby and I stopped here for an early Sunday morning breakfast and we were not disappointed!! The place is really nice! Super clean and decorated well and the selection of coffee, tea and food was perfect for a coffee shop date. We were greeted by the kind staff and we ordered white mochas which were delicious and hubby got a chocolate croissant and I got almond butter toast with the works! Everything tasted great and we will be back!! Nice to have a new coffee shop to hang out at!!

Just as good as the one in Sacramento. Coffee has good flavor and texture. The opened a few days before I came so they are still working out some of the logistics. The shop is pretty spacious and has a good amount of seating. Have not tried the prepared food yet but the pastries were pretty good.

Tasted like a sour pull and bean water. Wasn't flavorful at all. The younger girls on staff were also very rude, definitely disappointed.

Although this was a tad off the freeway, it was easy to find with plenty of parking. There were beautiful trees & plants outside, which also surrounded the patio area. There was a good amount of seating inside as well as one gender neutral restroom. I thought the one seating counter with built-in phone chargers was awesome. The space was clean with a modern yet rustic feel. The employees were fairly friendly and made our drinks rather quickly. I got a matcha latte with oat milk & brown sugar vanilla syrup added. They had so many unique syrup options that I had a tough time ultimately deciding, but the brown sugar vanilla was honestly such a great choice. I'm an absolute matcha snob and make my own at home all the time; the one I had at Grounded was quite delicious and I could tell they use a higher quality matcha than most other coffee shops, which made me happy. My husband went simple with a cold brew coffee and said it had a good flavor with low acidity, which he very much enjoyed. Next time we have to drive to/from Oakland for work, we'll be stopping in again and my husband will likely be taking a bag of beans home too now that he knows the coffee quality was high. Great little gem in Livermore!

It's tiki style, which honestly is super fun (especially with the bird noises!). The service was good, I have no complaints at all. My drink (can't remember the name, but it was coconut 'loco' ) was REALLY good. The drinks range from $16-$22 from what I saw, so somewhere from the median to the upper scale pricing. One of my buddies got the old fashion soda, which he liked, and another got the monkey drink. We didn't get to order any substantial food this round, but I'll be coming for the rum cake and spam misubi! Overall I'd 100% come back here, and highly recommend it for an escape out of your typical downtown livermore cocktail bar. Great job Rosetta! Keep the themes coming!!

During my visit, the Toast POS system appeared to have a 15% tip already selected, and it was added to my transaction. When customers are in a hurry, it's easy to approve a payment without noticing a preset tip. Tipping should be a deliberate choice, not a default setting. I was also surprised that Rosetta Roasting does not accept cash. While businesses can choose their payment methods, I believe customers should still have the option to pay with legal U.S. currency. The coffee and staff were good. My feedback is directed at the payment policies, which I hope management will reconsider.

They sent us directions to pick up in the back, but we got a little lost. Leonard, the owner, came out to find us and introduced himself and shared a little about the food and their projects. He was such a nice guy with big plans for the food! Into the food itself - The tuna mayo onigiri was STUFFED. There was so much flavor in every bite. I was a little cranky you have to order in twos but afterwards that first bite, I'm glad I had a whole one to myself! We got the Portuguese sausage with musubi and chili oil. The chili oil had a lot of heat and flavor to it! I don't recommend the chili oil if you're picturing a light spice because it packs a punch. But if you like the fire, highly recommend! My partners favorite was the classic teriyaki spam with unagi and avocado. I really enjoyed the portion sizing of each item - created a really perfect bite. The unagi had an extra smokiness to it. I think it's probably prepared in house/not supermarket unagi - the taste was quite different from that! The chicken lumpia was crispy and perfectly seasoned - not too salty and savory. The Thai chili sauce wasn't too spicy at all either. We'd definitely be back to try more!

The quality honestly reminds me of the kind of musubi you'd get in Hawaii, similar to places like Iyasume. Ever since trying musubi in Hawaii years ago, I've been hooked, and Musubi Libre is one of the very few places here that really gives me that same feeling/experience I've had. While the musubi are absolutely amazing, and it is their namesake, the Mrs. And I really like the onigiri! It's surprisingly hard to find truly good onigiri here in the US that lives up to the quality of the ones you'd get in Japan. Leonard, the owner clearly puts a ton of effort into each. He's definitely perfected his craft. The Mrs. and I have ordered from here casually many times before on our days off. We've tried the tuna, mentaiko, and ume. Mentaiko is my personal fave. The tuna is excellent too, and the ume has a classic salty-tangy flavor that's unique and refreshing. It's a great option for vegetarians as well. Recently, we ordered from Leonard to have onigiri catered for our daughter's birthday party. We got those 3 flavors. Originally, we just wanted something unique for the adults alongside the chicken nuggets and pizza we got for the kids. Man, we are so glad we did. The onigiri was a massive hit! People absolutely loved it, including guests who weren't necessarily huge into Japanese food or culture. They disappeared FAST! Like so fast I didn't get to eat one myself! This place is seriously a hidden gem in the East Bay. Definitely stop by, try the musubi and onigiri, and say hi to Leonard, who is genuinely one of the nicest people/owners you'll meet.
