The best seafood tacos I've ever had. Chive is like chipotle on meth, fresh, homemade meth drizzled in anabolic steroids. They've taken the create your own meal model to the 5th dimension. With so many meat and sauce options, the freedom to choose is slightly overwhelming. My wife and I welcomed the suggested combinations on the menu. I had the sea scallop tacos and lobster bisque. My wife had the mozzarella hoagie but substituted salad for the hoagie bun. The staff was very friendly. I'm only in vero for a week and I will definitely be back. read more

Absolutely delicious! The smoked fish dip is wonderful. You have to try the macaroni and cheese. My husband actually went back after he finished his meal and got another cup of it because it was that good. I got the chicken wrap with the siraccha mayo sauce, avocado, and fresh salsa. Too die for....my husband got the grilled mahi tacos which were also very tasty (but hard to fit all the ingredients you might want into a taco- wrap is the way to go). The meat is all seasoned very well and is super fresh- they literally give it to you right off the skillet. The owner came up to me and was very friendly which was really really nice. I gave eaten at Chive 10 times and each time I enjoy it more. The salad is so fresh, although I did enjoy it more when it was butter lettuce, instead of mixed greens like they serve now. Fantastic and fresh food. Salad, burrito, wrap or Po boy. It's like a Moe's meets Sub shop on roids. Great quality. All the fixings with generous servings. Something for everyone's dietary needs. Seating is limited, parking is difficult, lack of trash receptacles from what I saw and pretty steamy (hot) inside. I would encourage you get this to go. Stopped in for a quick lunch during a work training today. The woman at the counter guided me through my first Chive experience with helpful suggestions...I got a burrito with marinated chicken, salsa fresca, fresh cilantro and the sriracha aioli. The side salad option of the Thai glass noodles was medium spicy with a nice crunch from added veggies. Different and yummy. Market fresh quality and friendly service. Wish it wasn't so far from my workplace and home. Worth special trips for sure. read more

I went to Chive for the first time because when I Googled "vegan options near me," it popped up. I ordered tacos with beyond meat, and they seemed a little lost, like it was difficult to make or something. After talking to each other about the beyond meat (and possibly trying to find it?) they put it on the stove and it was done in minutes. It was really good. They also offer vegan chili, which I'm excited to try. They had a few baskets of baked goods, but none of it was labeled as vegan. If they offered a vegan dessert, I definitely would have purchased. read more

This place was amazing!! The staff was extremely helpful and very welcoming to first timers. The gentleman who greeted us compared the concept to Chipotle, which was semi-accurate but does not do the quality or service justice. I chose a mahi wrap with a side of lobster bisque. The gal who prepared my meal was great!! She provided me recommendations and even samples as my wrap was built. Once we were seated, a manager came by to check-in on us and he was also very friendly. We were looking for good food at a reasonable price and found it at Chive. Not much open on a Sunday night but found this place was open to 8pm. We both opted for the lobster in a burrito. With all the combinations it was hard to decide what would keep the lobster as the primary flavor. Opted to keep it simple with cilantro, lime and a little chipotle lime mayo. Very tasty with 2 ice cream scoops of lobster salad. My wife got broccoli salad as a side. Fresh and tasty. I opted for the seafood soup with mahi-mahi and shrimp. Very flavorful and could be a meal choice by itself. We met the owner Lou who takes real pride in his food and service. Lots of bottled beer and wine choices. Situated on a sunny waterway, Chives is a lovely little place off the beaten track. We stopped in for lunch during a recent road trip and were pleasantly surprised by the healthy menu options, the super friendly staff and owner, as well as the great beverage choices both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. For us, the best feature of this little local gem, was the freedom to substitute and change options on their creative menu. Each dish was FRESHly made to our taste - we went with Mahi Mahi tacos! Finally I've made it to this place! It's so fresh and delicious, by far the most unique place for lunch especially sitting outside in the sun. Some people compared to Chipotle simply because you get a selection of items you get to choose from. But it is 100 times better and fresher! The protein selection is outstanding: grilled chicken, flank steak, lobster salad and sashimi tuna!( That's just some of them). They have delicious homemade soup & chowders, like the lobster bisque! You can choose from a burrito, tacos, a wrap or a salad! It is a little intimidating at first understanding the menu but the staff are so friendly and willing to help you. This is one of my very favorite places in town!! I can't eat at a lot of places, since I'm working on improving my health through an all natural diet. At Chive I get fresh, totally natural foods that I get to put together myself to suit my needs. And best of all, their food tastes great!! There are so many different ingredients you can incorporate, that anyone can make a meal they'd love! The staff is super friendly and considerate, and I also appreciate their attention to details like cleanliness. Chive often has new yummy specials, and the prices are quite reasonable.Try their seared yellow fin tuna (so fresh!!) on a salad with lots of toppings (my favorite!). My mother loves the lobster salad which has huge chunks of fresh lobster and just a little mayo. Also keep an eye out for the clam chowder special! Yum! read more

Tried an array of items: appetizer was blue crab Mac n cheese cakes: crisp and light even though they have heavier ingredients. Lunch, I had the lobster roll topped with lettuce avocado and lemon mustard cream; perfect. The Hubs had a grilled shrimp po boy with fresh toppings and a Thai sauce with a side of lobster bisque; perfect again! We had sangria and left the place 100% satisfied and happy we found a little hidden gem... In closing 3 little words go go go... I don't even know where to start, but I, personally love the reuben egg rolls and macaroni. The only hard part about eating here is asking yourself, "Do I go with my usual sandwich or do I try something new?" I love chive and the workers there are so nice.
